The staff nodded, "I am the driver here, Mr. Ling, please follow me!"

Once the two of them were in the vehicle, the driver started the car and left the estate.

They traveled silently on the road and quickly arrived at the Royal Hospital, even before reaching the entrance, they saw several armed personnel with long spears.

Ling Feng was momentarily stunned; with a sweep of his divine sense, he found that not only at the entrance but inside the grounds there were many armed guards of various ethnicities!

It was evident that they were well-trained warriors, but judging by their uniforms, they didn’t appear to be military or police from Tailan Country, possibly staff from some security company.

As the car approached the hospital entrance, the guards began a routine check, preparing to ask for the two men’s identities.

However, upon seeing Ling Feng, the guard’s eyes widened and quieted down, then asked in English, "Are you Mr. Ling?"

Ling Feng nodded, "Smack wants to see me, I came as soon as I got the message!"

"Alright, please come in!"

It seemed they had been notified in advance, so upon seeing Ling Feng, the guard let them through without a word.

Once the car entered the hospital grounds, Ling Feng got out and instructed the driver to wait while he headed straight to the inpatient ward.

The guards seemed to recognize him, allowing him through without any hindrance, and he smoothly went upstairs.

He didn’t need to ask; Ling Feng already knew through his divine sense which ward Smack was in, and he went directly there.

Entering the room, he saw there were only two people inside, one was Smack lying on the bed, the other was a blonde woman, seemingly in her thirties, with a face full of worry, presumably Smack’s girlfriend.

After nodding to her, Ling Feng turned to look at Smack, dressed in hospital garb, "It seems you’re not in too much trouble, just lost your hair!"

"Got a bit injured, but it’s not serious!"

Smack forced a bitter smile and sat up directly.

The blonde woman quickly said, "Don’t move!"

Smack’s face was calm, as if he weren’t the victim, showing no emotional turbulence.
