Dick smiled, "To save Earth civilization."

"Uh, that’s a huge topic!"

Ling Feng was speechless, eyes suddenly wide open.

"I believe Mr. Ling has already noticed that both internal and external troubles are starting to surface. The crisis is right in front of us!" Dick said.

"Do you think I can avert the crisis by myself?" Ling Feng asked.

Dick nodded, "If anyone can, I believe it’s you. No one else can do it!"

"You’re overestimating me!"

Ling Feng gave a wry smile, then said, "My idea is just to have a warm home with my wife and kids, live well, and make sure those around me aren’t affected by the crisis."

Dick smiled, "Mr. Ling is too modest. You have a heart that cares for all living beings. When facing extinction, you surely won’t turn a blind eye!"

He then changed the subject, "By the way, don’t get too relieved too soon. This spaceship is already damaged, and the curvature engine on it is also problematic. Once back, you should study it well. I reckon it won’t be usable for a short time!"

"I know!"

Ling Feng nodded, "Such advanced technology, humans couldn’t develop it themselves within a hundred years. Now that we have it, spending a few years studying it is not an issue!"

"Then I’m relieved!"

Ling Feng smiled, then said, "The item is already in hand. Once back, I’ll immediately submit it to the Security Bureau. As for future research and development, you can always ask the superiors."

"Okay!"

Li Tong nodded, looking into Ling Feng’s eyes, "With this item, your presence is probably going to extend beyond Earth, right?"

"I haven’t thought that far yet."

"But eventually, you’ll leave this place!" Li Tong said with bright eyes.

"That will be in the future, this will always be my home."

Ling Feng smiled, then said, "Alright, it’s getting late. You should get some rest."

"Alright."

Li Tong didn’t say much more, watching Ling Feng leave, she sighed slightly.

It was an uneventful night. The next morning, as the sun rose, everyone set off for the return journey.

Back at the lake, a helicopter arrived shortly after.

The people boarded the helicopter one after another, then embarked on their way home.

"I found something good in South America this time. If this thing comes out, not only will the whole world be shocked, there might even be widespread panic!" Ling Feng said in a low voice.

"Is it a weapon?"

Han Wancheng frowned, then said a bit impatiently, "Stop teasing and just tell me, I’m busy!"

"Hehe, once I tell you, boss, you’ll need to put everything else aside!"

Ling Feng chuckled, then began to talk about the curvature engine.
