He was looking at this timer when two figures suddenly appeared some distance away from him. Both of them looked at him with eyes filled with the intent to skin him alive and leave his entrails out for vultures to eat. They were more than a kilometer away from him, but their malice was still obvious at this distance.
There was one on his left and another on his right. The one on his left was a blue-feathered bird person, while the one on the right was a purple-feathered bird person.
These two were the world guardians of water and the world guardian of lightning. The two of them didn’t speak to him when they appeared. They only glared at him before nodding at each other and making their moves.
The world guardian of water was the first to make a move. She raised her hands into the sky, and the ground erupted with geysers of water.
It was as if there was a dam underground, and she had made that dam explode. Because of her power, water came pouring out of the ground in a massive quantity for an area that was around 2 kilometers wide, with him at the center.
So with him at the center, a circular area with a radius of 1 kilometer around him was filling up with water. The weird part was that the water didn’t flow into the surrounding area after appearing. The water stayed within the confines of this circular area and didn’t leak out.
With the water unable to spread, it could only rise higher and higher. This formed a cylinder of water on dry land that was rising to the sky. And with the water rising quickly, it was about to submerge him.
In order to escape the fate of being submerged, he rose higher into the sky. But the guardian of water and the guardian of lightning didn’t want him to have his way.
The guardian of water was down below within the cylinder of water. All of the bullets that he shot at her couldn’t reach her because the large amount of moving water between them was protecting her by dragging his bullets away.
Since she was safe at the bottom of the pillar of water, she continued to raise her hands up. This time, her power caused the edges of the cylinder to rise up like walls into the sky.
The walls of water quickly rose into the sky to cut off his path of escape. They converge above his head to seal the sky and drag him down to be submerged.
Meanwhile, the guardian of lightning had caused black storm clouds to appear in the sky. Then he made the storm clouds discharge a massive amount of purple lightning at him.
