The Game of Global Mining-Chapter 342 - 284: The Sword of Judgment of the Big Shot
Chun was really terrified; one Evil Spirit Possession was troublesome enough, but dispatching a hundred is simply outrageous and completely uncivilized...
Although the Evil Spirits were intercepted by the Rainbow Light Shield, they erupted into crazed screams and continued their assault, causing Chun’s entire screen to tremble from the wails. A flurry of system prompts flooded the screen:
—— System prompt: Your Spiritual Power, Advanced Anti-Stun Strike has resisted "Banshee’s Wail"!
—— System prompt: ...resisted "Banshee’s Wail"!
...
Chun was stunned; Banshee’s Wail, such a high-level spirit death skill, and they can all do it!
Luckily, the Five Sea Souls were strong enough to intercept most of the Evil Spirits, though there was still a group rushing towards the cockpit, forcing Chun to block the door and counterattack. Chun believed that with his spirit power, which had withstood the Banshee’s Wail, he was certain to—"Missed!"
Holy Shit!?
Chun couldn’t believe it and threw another punch; this time he saw clearly as the opponent swiftly and elegantly dodged—still missed!
But at that moment, Aileen crouched behind Chun and landed a kick between his legs, hitting the target directly!
The Evil Spirit staggered and lost its grace, allowing Chun to immediately land a punch, sending it flying!
The Evil Spirit behind instantly moved in to take its place, and Chun threw another punch, but it was dodged again! Aileen delivered another kick beneath, hitting yet again, and Chun followed up with another punch, but another Evil Spirit pushed it aside, once again missing!
Chun was stunned; they know teamwork!
Aileen said in a deep voice, "They’re at Dancing Girl level! Your regular attacks won’t easily hit them; I can hit them because I’m familiar with their moves."
Chun was shocked: "Then what should we do?"
Aileen replied, "Use them for practice; perhaps you’ll awaken as a Warrior while fighting? If you really can’t manage, shut the cockpit door, and we’ll go to sleep..."
Oh? Right, the cockpit is a fortress, nothing to fear!
So Chun attacked from above, and Aileen delivered kicks from below!
Though Chun could barely land direct hits, he could still capitalize on Aileen’s hits, while those Evil Spirits sent flying weren’t weak either, lining up in the back to continue their relentless rotation replacements.
Chun glanced at the sky; against the highly agile Evil Spirits, apart from the electric ray’s discharge having some effect, the other Sea Souls seemed like elephants fighting flies, completely unable to hit. Fortunately, the Sea Souls were resilient enough to endure being thrashed.
Chun asked, "Are they all Dancing Girls?"
Aileen said entrenched in a deep voice, "It seems so, all are!"
Chun was bewildered: "Didn’t you say Dancing Girls are precious tributes for the Emperor? Is it okay to kill so many?"
Aileen silently delivered two kicks before responding slowly, "They probably failed to withstand the Witch’s Promotion Array upon ascending and died at that instant, which to others just looks like failed ascension and doesn’t matter. As for me, I failed ascension initially, so I’m considered a worthless soul, just thrown down the drain, I’d imagine."
So, it seems all these hundred-plus Dancing Girls here are better than you, huh?
Chun asked again, "Why is this Witch collecting so many Dancing Girl souls?"
Aileen snorted, "Obviously to whip you into shape! Focus, damn it!"
Alright, perhaps it’s to create advanced Banshees. The distinction between a Banshee and an Enchanting Demon is that Banshees are converted from humans.
However, this task is evidently out of my league. Why does the Astrology Old Lady even think I can hunt this Witch? Even with a car and a Blasphemous Shield, it’s still a struggle! Also, the situation with my physical body outside while battling in the Soul World is baffling, right? There’s no way the Witch would just abandon this many precious Dancing Girl souls and flee, right?
...
At this moment, Raphael used a city teleport to directly arrive at the entrance of the Secret Realm’s grand maze.
Inside the Secret Realm, leveling personnel constantly report positions: "Chun’s car has stalled, seems to be unconscious, and that Black Robe Mage is pushing Chun’s car towards the third level of the Secret Realm."
Raphael was bewildered even more; Chun unconscious? What’s happening? Clearly, Chun was the one pursuing this Black Wizard, and now it’s the Wizard pushing Chun’s car away?
Could it be, this Black Wizard is actually Chun’s inside ally, intentionally helping Chun escape the City Guard’s pursuit?
Then let’s kill them all! Facing Chun’s Blasphemous Shield might be somewhat troublesome, but dealing with an NPC Mage, Raphael has plenty of methods.
Furthermore, the third level of the Secret Realm is already the current player’s leveling limit; beyond that, player reconnaissance is impossible. Raphael resolutely unveiled his True Angel True Body, storming through the air swiftly.
Then chased to the third level of the Secret Realm!
Arriving here, searching has to be done personally, so Raphael deployed four Eyes of Omniscience, which began invisibly flying towards four directions.
As for Raphael, he aimed directly at the entrance to the fourth level.
Originally, this Secret Realm maze was Raphael’s artistic masterpiece: designing an incrementally challenging advanced leveling spot for his Main City and incorporating some hidden events for added intrigue.
And only true geniuses and madmen are entitled to touch art, so hidden events here often relate to somewhat eccentric genius or mad NPCs.
Originally, there were no issues during setup, but the intelligent system autonomously ran the "reasonable logic" simulation, i.e., meteor crash and volcanic eruption causing spatial fractures, creating various dimension portals and even vast alternate spaces—this caused some eccentric genius NPCs to reside in the deepest spaces of the Secret Realm, making it hard for normal players to find.
While it’s more interesting, it’s also became more uncontrollable.
Especially after Uriel triggered the event of stealing dragon eggs entering the surface world, Raphael suspected this might directly connect to Hell, though it might not directly access the 7th level, but even connecting to the ordinary 3rd-level Demon Realm is a major issue. If these hermit NPCs link to Hell and form an organization, it would be an even more uncontrollable ordeal.
