The Forbidden Heiress At The All Male Alpha Academy-Chapter 97: Mine, even if you run
Theo felt the world tilt under her feet, and a barrelling storm swallowed her up too. One moment, her eyes were wide open with shock, and the next, they had fallen closed.
He tasted like heat, and smoke, like someone who lived very close to danger. His lips moved against hers with a harsh, consuming hunger like every second he hadn’t kissed her had been a grave mistake.
Theo gasped against his onslaught of kisses, and the sound undid something in him again. He deepened the kiss, stealing more of her breath, taking more than she knew how to give.
One hand slid to the back of her neck, and his lips demanded even more like he couldn’t get enough. Theo gasped again, her head beginning to spin.
The heat from him was making her tremble uncontrollably, and he felt every inch of it. His heat was impossible to escape, and he growled again and forced her lips to part with his tongue, delving into her mouth.
Then, she felt his weight shift, and he began lowering her onto the bed, and his body followed her like a shadow.
The moment her back touched the softness, her eyes flew open and so did his. He looked at her with insane hunger, and his eyes said more than his words ever could.
Theo pressed her legs together, unable to help herself. She was so damn turned on by him, and her thighs ached to be spread apart.
But...he would find out.
In fact, if he smelt her arousal alone, it would be devastating.
Four people knowing her secret was enough.
Zeke can’t be another addition. To him right now, he was kissing Thaddeus Douglas.
But when he finds out she’s female, there is no predicting what will happen. Especially when he finds out she’s Theodora, betrothed to the man he loathes.
That would set him ablaze.
"Zeke...," She managed out, about to push him away.
But he was faster. He caught her lips again, and her entire body jolted. His lips traced down to her cheeks, slow and burning, and then he found her neck.
Theo shuddered as his tongue traced around her pulse points. He nipped and grazed and claimed without asking, then soothed the bite with a swipe of his hot tongue that made her eyes roll to the back of her head.
Moisture leaked between her legs too much, and she struggled to keep her head straight. She didn’t want him to stop - she wanted him more than she knew, but at the same time, she needed him to stop.
"Z...Zeke...,"
She felt his finger around her towel, and then he slowly tugged.
Theo’s strength slammed into her with so much force that she almost jerked off the bed completely. Her forehead smashed into his unintentionally, and she almost sent him falling on his butt, but Zeke caught himself.
They both paused, staring at each other.
She held her towel tightly against her body, fear flashing in her eyes so hard he saw it.
He was going to smell her arousal.
Even if she ran to the bathroom now, he would still smell it. It was too late.
Zeke froze, wondering why she was staring at him like the world was about to end. His heart stuttered, and he tried to think of something he had done wrong.
Was he too rough? Should he have taken things more slowly?
He stared at her more closely. Why was she squeezing her legs that hard? Do her balls not hurt?
"Hellc...,"
Her eyes flashed with warning and horror and she growled at him like the earth had just split, "Hold your breath!!"
He instantly reacted and seized breathing, his heart thundering inside his chest.
Then, she dove and snatched a bottle from the drawer next to her bed and sprayed something all around, right before she stood up, snatched some clothes, and shot back into the bathroom.
Zeke released his breath, inhaling the perfume that now filled the air. Why did Hellcat do that?
He grabbed his shirt and sniffed. Did she not like his scent? He was hella confused and dragged his hand through his hair.
But then, he caught another scent. It was musky ~ the kind that was insanely thick and made his wolf roar.
The scent of arousal.
Hellcat’s.
And that was exactly when he realised the meaning of her actions. But why would she go that far? Was it because she was shy? Insecure? Or was there something else?
He needed to know.
Moreover, he needed more of that scent. He ached to inhale more of it, and he needed it flowing down his tongue.
In an instant, he was already by the bathroom door and turning it open.
Zeke burst into the bathroom, and there she stood, her back facing him.
She had worn the pants and was just about to put on the sweatshirt when he barged in.
Theo tugged the sweatshirt down in a frenzy, fabric catching on her damp skin as she desperately tried to pull it over herself before Zeke could see anything that would give her away.
Her chest heaved.
She wasn’t breathing properly.
Zeke stood just inside the doorway, silently observing her. He was still dripping with hunger and confusion with something darker from every inch of him.
Water trickled somewhere from the showerhead behind her, the only sound in the suffocating space.
"The hell was that?" he asked lowly, shutting the door behind him with a click that echoed.
Theo flinched, "Z–Zeke...don’t come any closer..."
"Hellcat," His voice wasn’t calm. It was barely contained, "You really think you can spray cheap perfume all over the room and run in here like that and I won’t notice something’s wrong?"
She stumbled back until her lower back hit the counter.
He advanced slowly. The kind of slow that said ’I’m too focused to feel anything else’.
"Whatever you think you smelled..." she tried, but her voice cracked down the middle.
Zeke’s eyes darkened with more hunger, "I know what I smelled,"
Her stomach dropped.
He kept coming, and she backed up further, her palms flat on the cold ceramic behind her. Her heart hammered so loudly she was sure he could hear it.
He wasn’t grabbing her. He wasn’t touching her. But the air between them burned anyway.
"You told me to hold my breath," he murmured, "That wasn’t panic," He stepped closer again, "That wasn’t embarrassment," Another step, "That was fear,"
Her throat closed up. He was too close now and his warmth, his scent, and his presence swallowed the tiny bathroom whole. She could barely breathe under it, without wanting to reach for him again.
Gosh! She needed to get a grip.
"And you think I’m not going to ask why?" Zeke whispered, tilting his head slightly as he studied her trembling, "You think I’m going to pretend I didn’t hear your heart explode when I pulled your towel?"
Theo squeezed her eyes shut, "Zeke...stop,"
"Stop what?" His voice dipped lower, "Coming near you?" he took another step, and his chest deliciously brushed against hers, "Or noticing you?"
Her breath stuttered out of her. He was trapping her again, and this time she wasn’t sure if she was going to be able to resist him.
He lifted a hand slowly, giving her time to move away.
She didn’t.
His fingers brushed her jaw, and she shuddered against his touch.
"Why did you run?" he asked, his voice husky. His thumb brushed the corner of her mouth like he couldn’t help himself, and he traced it over her swollen lips, "Tell me the truth,"
"I can’t," she whispered.
Zeke leaned in, his breath ghosting her lips, and the heat that rolled off him made her legs weaken again.
"You think I’m not losing my mind here?" he growled softly, "I’ve been trying not to drag you back into that room, pin you to that bed, and taste you down there,"
Fire shot up her veins, and she almost gasped from his words.
"But you’re scared," He added softly "And I can’t figure out what you’re scared of, which is making me lose my mind even more because I want to ease your fears-whatever it may be, then take you to my bed and make you moan again,"
Theo panted.
He lowered his forehead against hers, and the contact sent a shiver through her entire spine.
"Hellcat," he murmured, "look at me,"
She shook her head.
Zeke’s fingers slid under her chin and tilted it up gently. When she finally met his eyes, everything inside her cracked.
Because he wasn’t angry.
He wasn’t disgusted.
He wasn’t mocking.
He looked... wrecked. He looked breathless and unsteady, like he was barely clinging to control.
"I’m trying," he whispered, "Not to want more,"
Theo’s breath shattered.
"You gave me that scent," he continued, his thumb brushing her lower lip again, "Don’t ask me to pretend you didn’t,"
She swallowed so hard it hurt.
"I can’t tell you," she whispered, clutching the edge of the counter behind her, "because if I do... everything breaks,"
His brows drew together slightly.
And before he could say anything else, she slipped sideways past his arm, squeezing through the narrow gap between him and the wall. It took every ounce of her speed.
He spun instantly, but she was already through the door, frantic and breathless.
"Hellcat!" His voice tore after her, deeper and more desperate.
Theo didn’t look back.
She yanked the bedroom door open and ran out of the room like something was hunting her.
Because something was.
Hezekiah Pendragon was.
And she wasn’t sure she could survive another second of him and keep her secret intact.

Feeling a bit sick!
