But his eyes still held that erupting fire in them, like it had taken him everything to finally agree.

"How are you gonna manage?" She asked.

"I’ll sleep on your bed. Your scent would help,"

"It won’t do much," She fiddled with her pendant, thinking of how to go about it.

Zeke looked away, his nose scrunched up. He had this huge frown and kept snarling every two seconds.

"What’s going on in your head this time?" She inquired curiously.

"Sylas...," Zeke snarled again, then suddenly shook her head, "No! I’m not letting him help me again,"

"What about Sylas?!" She pushed, "How did he help you?!"

"Uggghhhh!" He groaned again, "He...can do something to help me sleep without the nightmares...,"

"Really?!" Her eyes sparkled, "That’s so wonderful. Why didn’t you mention it before?"

"Because it’s annoying!" Zeke raged, "He’s the fucking enemy!"

"An enemy that helps you... isn’t exactly an enemy,"

He glared down at her.

"Thank you so much for telling me about this. I’ll talk to him about it, and I’ll make sure he does something tonight, too," Her eyes lit up.

"Are you that happy to go back to him?" He caught her hand before she could turn around.

Zeke always looked cute when jealous despite his anger, and there was only one thing that could calm him down. Quickly, she leaned up on her tiptoes and pressed a quick kiss to his lips, "Thank you, Zeke. For letting me go to him,"

He suddenly caught her waist and pulled her flush against him, "You can thank me even better by letting this last," He smirked.

"Zeke!" She cried as he kissed her even harder, his tongue diving into her mouth and exploring every wet corner of hers.

Theo moaned into the kiss, till the sound of rushed footsteps caught her ears. It was almost curfew and a lot of students were rushing back to the dorms. A few seconds more and this place would be filled with eyes watching them kiss.

"Zeke!!" She moaned in panic, her palms against his chest trying to push him off, "People are coming!"

"I don’t care!" His hand disappeared into her pants and grabbed an ass cheek, "Would it be so terrible if I made love to you right here?!"

"Zeke!" She half-yelled in need and panic, gathering just enough strength to shove him away right on time.

Students filled the walkway instantly from every corner, and Theo ducked her head quickly to keep them from seeing the red on her cheeks.

Zeke looked at her and burst into a deep chuckle. She slammed a fist into his shoulders, glaring at him for laughing at her.

Theodora ran out of the dorm like a happy puppy. The place was almost empty, and she jumped excitedly as she looked around for him.

Afraid to call out his name and draw attention, she started walking around hoping to catch him.

The tower bell suddenly rang, cutting through the silence of the night. Every single student still out scrambled into the buildings, a few brushing past her.

Theo took off running opposite, on her way back to his place. If he wasn’t here right now, she would just go and meet him.

There was a spontaneous moment of complete darkness around her, and she suddenly felt weightless with her feet dangling in the air. Cold arms touched her waist as they lifted her up from her feet, and she giggled as she felt that familiar rush.

They were moving.

The next moment, she was standing in the living room she had left earlier that night and was looking up at Sylas.

"You’re with me, again," He sounded so glad.

"Yes," She nodded, "I’m here, with you," She repeated.

"What does Zeke think about this?"

"He’ll be fine," She said, "We talked. But first, you have to help him sleep better. You can do that, can’t you?"

"Yeah...," He caught her chin and lifted it up, his eyes dark with hunger, "But first, we have to let him fall asleep first. I wonder what we should be doing before that happens..."

Theo’s back hit the wall as his lips devoured hers. He was gradually losing control, and his hand slipped into her clothes and up her back, tracing the curves of her back.
