The Faceless Billionaire Celebrity Wife-Chapter 94: Weird Or...Trolls?
"Who’s there?!" Cyprian called out loud, even though she knew very well who the person outside the door was. Who else would come to her house this early in the morning and knock, if not Raymond? Her brothers knew her door passcode so they wouldn’t bother knocking.
She swung the door open, a professional smile on her face as she greeted him.
"Hi!"
"Rian..." Raymond trailed off, seeing the strange expression she was wearing. Seeing as Shikera was the one who asked him to come pick her this morning, he could already tell that it was because Cyprian wanted to see him. Then, why the strange welcome?
She opened the door wide enough for him to enter, while still wearing the nonchalant expression.
"Come in. I will wake Kera," she muttered, walking towards her bedroom when Raymond pulled her back by her hand.
"What happened, Rian? Did I do something wrong?"
"Mr..." 𝕗𝐫𝐞𝕖𝕨𝐞𝗯𝚗𝕠𝘃𝐞𝚕.𝐜𝗼𝚖
"Stop it! If you dare call me Mr Stone, I’ll show you why you shouldn’t call me that. What did I do wrong?" Raymond asked, wearing a stern look now.
Cyprian sighed, rolling her eyes.
"What will you show me? If you aren’t Mr Stone, who are you to me?"
"Hey..."
"If we don’t have a formal relationship then answer these questions honestly. When last did you see me, Ray? Not even physically, when last did you message or call me?"
"That’s...I didn’t want to act clingy. I liked your posts on Instagram, Facebook and wherever I came across your profile. Shouldn’t you have seen that I missed you from there? I thought you would notice my persistence and then call," Raymond defended himself, confusion evident on his face as he wondered if his effort at creating all those multiple accounts while using tweaking his names in different forms, was in vain.
Cyprian’s chuckled, "What?! You think you are the only one who likes my posts? I have thousands of followers duh, minus the fifty weird people...or should I call them trolls, who just started liking my account recently. And if Kera becomes an announcer in a few weeks, I’ll take lot of pictures with her and my followers will increase, do you think I’ll notice if you like my posts with your single account?"
The room fell silent as Raymond didn’t have an answer to her question, or rather, he didn’t know how to react to her calling him weird or a troll.
"You might even be lying, what’s your username?" Cyprian’s voice snapped him out of his thoughts.
"That..." He frowned, wondering which of the usernames he should mention.
"Stony ray...or was it sun rays?" He asked out loud.
Just then, the sound of the room door opening, attracted his and Cyprian’s attention as they turned to see Shikera stalking out with drowsy eyes.
"Kera, you’re awake?" Cyprian questioned, her brows raised in surprise.
"As you can see. It’s alright though, I’ll go back on my own so you can spend quality time with Mr. Stone, sorry...your boyfriend," Shikera replied, giving a fake smile before walking out the door while rubbing her eyes.
Even if they wanted to have a lovers quarrel, couldn’t they wait until she woke up first?!

The sun’s rays pierced through the sky, it’s light glinting off every surface and illuminating the world below.
Shikera was oblivious to all of this as she was asleep on her bed, far away in the land where she had no worries or problems.
"Shikera? Shikera!"
Raine tapped her on her arm, waking her up and watching as she rose from the bed.
"Mum?"
"It’s me," Raine smiled, before asking, "When did you come home?"
"This morning. Around 6am or so," Shikera replied. "Is anything wrong?"
"Everything is alright. I wanted to know why you didn’t go to work and also inform you that Ethan said you could go straight to the villa after work. He probably didn’t know you were back home already," Raine explained.
She continued, "Esther also said she requested permission from you to live with you guys and that you agreed. So I will be sending Hazel over with her tonight, so you don’t have to worry yourself much over her."
Shikera nodded, "It’s alright with me. Did Ethan agree to having Hazel over though?"
"Yes, they grew up together like I told you so it’s no problem. I think he arranged for her to live with Ruth, in the back villa."
Having heard all that she wanted to hear, Shikera fell back on the bed and closed her eyes.
"That’s fine by me then," she murmured.
"Why are you home though? Did you get a day off?"
"Two actually, I’ll be travelling for an assignment in two days so I was given time to prepare."
"Alright, I’ll leave you to sleep then."
Before Raine stepped out of the room, Shikera had drifted off to sleep.
Ethan’s Villa.
Night crept in gradually, slowly enveloping the world in darkness as the sun dissapeared from the sky.
Shikera sat on the long sofa in the living room, her brows set in a determined line as she stared out the floor to ceiling window at the scenery outside the villa. She looked down at the transparent night gown she was wearing as she murmured under her breath,
"Is this seductive enough?"
"I’m done putting Esther to sleep," as if in reply to Shikera’s murmured question, a voice came from the direction of the stairs.
Shikera looked up and smiled, "Thanks, Hazel."
"It’s alright. After all, I have known her since she was born," came the reply.
Shikera tilted her head, hearing the hint of smugness in Hazel’s words. She shrugged though, ignoring the feeling before answering, "I was told that you grew up with Ethan so I don’t think it’s a surprise."
As Hazel was about to answer, the sound of a car tyre screeching against the driveway alerted them.
"I think Ethan is around now. Will you greet him or..."
"I will meet him outside, thanks for asking," Hazel smiled brightly, one which dissapeared from her face the moment she was no longer in Shikera’s line of sight, as she walked out of the villa.
Shikera who remained sitted on the sofa draped a shawl on her body and placed an angelic smile on her face as she chanted inwardly.
"Be brave, Kera. If you don’t do this today, there’s a high probability you won’t be able to do this ever again."
She frowned when the events of that evening rushed into her mind, and her determination was refueled again. She stood up to her feet and walked to the threshold to greet Ethan and...
"Where’s Enoch?" She asked, not seeing her brother-in-law with her husband who was as handsome and dapper as he had always been.
"He’s staying with Ruthlyn tonight. Were you waiting for me?" Ethan answered her, and immediately his jaw fell open when she removed the shawl covering her body. Where the hell did his wife usually buy her night dresses from?
