The Faceless Billionaire Celebrity Wife-Chapter 81: The Return Of The Missing Young Master.
"Mum!!!"
The DeLoach’s mansion was sent into an uproar, as the security guards retreated from the gate while pointing their guns at an approaching figure.
At the same time, Mignon was running up the paved pathway leading to the mansion while screaming out for her parents.
"Daddy!"
The 17 year old girl’s voice, was filled with excitement mixed with dread as she shouted. The servants who had already been alerted by the security guards action, were further put on edge by the young miss’ screaming. The head maid was quick to inform the Master and Madam of the house, who were surprisingly present at home today. Had they known something bad was going to happen?
Upstairs, Chris DeLoach’s Study.
Raine DeLoach was pacing the room, her impatient mood vividly evident to her husband, who was sitting on the lone sofa in the room. Though the man was trying to stay neutral to his wife’s words, it was evident that he was also feeling unease at what he just heard.
Clearing his throat, he looked up to his wife and asked, "Raine, are you sure Mignon saw well that that was Shikera Anderson? If it’s because of the attention on her at school, then it could have been the Alvrier’s daughter, but not Shikera! Her father would have informed me."
Raine, on the other hand, glared at her husband.
"Don’t tell me you secretly harboured the thought that those children were dead, Chris? I just told you Shikera Anderson is alive and instead of you to be elated and start thinking of why our own son is not back yet, you are trying to tell me my source was fake!" The woman shouted, enough for her last son who was eavesdropping outside the door, to hear her words clearly.
"That is not my intention," Chris sighed, massaging his temple with his fingers. He knew his wife would be hard to persuade, but still, he would try his best since his sanity was at stake here.
"And what was your intention?! Mignon told me she heard her friends talking about one Shikera Anderson at school, and today, I went to check it out myself. It turned out she really is back, and not only that, Prince Kylian is back too. Shouldn’t our son be back too?!" Raine asked again, as she was not about to back down yet.
"Raine..."
Enoch, who was outside the door, gave up on listening to the discussion as he couldn’t understand a bit of it, so he walked away from there. As he got to the stairway, he saw the head maid running up the stairs with his sister following after her in a faster pace, and his brows raised in question.
"What happened, Mig?"
But his sister didn’t answer him, or rather, she didn’t even hear or see Enoch as her mind was set on her destination. Her mother’s room.
"Mum!" She screamed again, to ascertain the place her mother was and when she received a reply from her father’s study, she rushed in that direction.
Raine was already out of the study, as she rushed to meet her daughter.
"Why were you..." She trailed off, seeing the head maid also running towards her.
"What’s the matter?" She asked, rephrasing her question.
"Madam—Out...outside! The security guards are re—retreating... Intruder!" Trying to pass across her message to the madam of the house, the head maid was only able to talk in broken sentences as she was out of breath.
"Intruders?!" Chris, who had followed his wife out of the study, asked while Raine’s eyes widened.
"How were they able to get past the estate security in the first place?" His tone was urgent, before he noticed his daughter behind the maid.
"What happened, Mignon? Did someone try to harm you?"
"No!" Mignon bent over in a bid to catch her breath, before she finally straightened herself and looked into her parents eyes, one after another.
"Mum, Dad, Ethan is back!"

Outside the mansion, the head of the security guards had one of his hands raised up, to signal to the men behind him not to shoot. Though he felt that the face of the wounded teenager approaching him with blood stained clothes was familiar, he couldn’t let his guard down and endanger his employers.
Still, he could not take the risk to shoot down this stranger, for the same reason. He was not ready to lose his job.
Noticing that the approaching teenager who didn’t seem fazed at all by the number of guns directed at him seemed to be whispering something, the guard stopped retreating and approached the boy. At least, the boy was not holding any weapon and was only looking dangerous.
"Ethan DeLoach...Ethan DeLoach...Ethan DeLoach..."
"Sir! What is he saying?!" One of the guards shouted out to their head.
"Nonsense. He keeps repeating the missing young master’s name!" The head guard shouted back.
"Ethan!"
The voice of the madam who was approaching from the main mansion, attracted their attention as all the guards turned to salute her.
"Ethan!" Raine yelled, recognizing the target of those rifles held by their security guards. No matter how dirty he looked, how distant his black eyes were, how fearless his clothes seemed to have made him now, he was still her son and she would recognize him anywhere and any time.
Quickening her steps until she was standing before him, she pulled the boy, as he still was to her, into her arms as she sobbed profusely.
"Where have you been...Ethan? Where...forgive mum here for not taking care of you well..."
As everyone noticed, this was the typical reaction a mother whose son had been missing for nine years was supposed to have. But why was the boy so still...and maintaining his straightforward, fierce look as if no one was hugging him. Now, were they supposed to drop their guns or not?
On one hand, they were supposed to drop their guns as it turned out this was the missing young master, and on the other hand, it looked like the young master had changed drastically from when he was still an eleven year old boy when he got lost.
"Excuse me," Raine heard her son whisper into her ears. Unsure as to whether she had heard him well, she released him to look up at his face. He was now taller than she was.
"What did you say, Ethan?"
The cold and piercing stare which he threw at her was enough to shut her up and make her release him. The young boy bypassed her and walked towards the guards, past them and towards his father.
Is he so eager to greet his father, Raine wondered, as a nostalgic smile settled on her lips. However, the smile fell from her face when her son bypassed his father too and walked towards his sister, going to stand before her.
She wanted to ask why he was there when...
Ethan had gripped his sister by her neck and was strangling her!
