The exorcism began in America.-Chapter 310 In front of the Orlando Exorcism Agency Branch Office
Camille was similarly puzzled.
She glanced at Monte, who was getting further and further ahead, then swept her gaze through the rearview mirror at Daster, who was persistently following them.
What weirdos! she silently thought.
"Dear, although it’s not quite appropriate for me to say this... I still want to say that these two are very likely to completely ruin our vacation!" Camille said.
Upon hearing this, regret flashed in Pietro’s eyes. But by now, the die was cast, and he had to bear the consequences. He didn’t respond, merely pressing harder on the accelerator and chasing after Monte.
The chase lasted for two minutes. Fortunately, at this time in Orlando, there were almost no other vehicles on the road. The three speeding cars didn’t cause any accidents apart from kicking up trash.
SCREECH.
With a piercing sound of brakes, Monte’s car came to a steady halt in front of the main entrance of a five-story building.
"Orlando Exorcism Agency branch?"
Pietro, following closely, was confused when he saw the sign on the building and the figure hurrying into the entrance.
Exorcism Agency branch? What in the world is Monte doing here? Pietro wondered.
While Pietro and Camille were somewhat baffled, Daster, who had been following them all along, finally arrived.
Seeing the sign on the building, the smile Daster had worn since morning slowly faded.
"Despicable humans," he muttered, his hoarse voice drowned out by the roar of the engines as his car, which had just stopped, quickly started up again and sped off.
"Hey, Daster! Where are you going?" Camille shouted.
Unfortunately, her shout received no response.
Just then, Monte’s urgent voice suddenly rang out from the building’s entrance.
"Ladies, that’s the car!" Monte called out.
Turning towards the voice, Pietro and Camille saw Monte, who had recently disappeared, now accompanied by two identical-looking beautiful women, hurrying their way.
"Trying to run?" the woman on the left asked, her voice chilly. Pietro could even detect a hint of disdain in her tone.
The next second, "Where did the other one go? How did one disappear?" Camille asked in surprise.
To Camille, it seemed that in the blink of an eye, one of the two perfectly synchronized beautiful women had vanished!
My God! Was that all an illusion just now... Camille couldn’t believe it and rubbed her eyes.
Before she could finish speaking, both she and Pietro were shaken by a loud explosion that suddenly erupted in the distance.
"Xie Te! Was that Daster’s car?" Pietro exclaimed.
Looking towards the sound, they were stunned to see thick smoke rising from the middle of the road in the distance.
"Are you with the person in that car?" a cold voice asked from beside their car, snapping Pietro and Camille back to reality.
"Let me introduce you. This is a Fifth Level Exorcist from the Orlando Exorcism Agency branch!" Monte, who had followed them, said excitedly to Pietro and Camille.
He then turned his gaze to the tall, beautiful woman beside him, introducing the two in the car to her.
"These two are Pietro and Camille. As for the one in that car..." Monte gestured toward the car still emitting smoke in the distance, "that’s Daster."
"Daster?" the cold voice said, a hint of understanding in it. "That poor soul possessed by the Evil Spirit?!" 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦
"What Evil Spirit? Monte, what are you talking about? We need to go rescue him!" Camille exclaimed.
Having regained her senses, she had no time to ponder the meaning of Monte’s words. Instead, she anxiously pulled open the car door, intending to rush toward the distant accident scene.
"Stop! The person you want to save has already returned!" the Exorcist commanded.
"What?"
Camille looked up, following the direction the Exorcist indicated with her finger.
A tall, beautiful woman was briskly approaching, dragging a constantly struggling figure.
"Is that Daster? He’s actually unharmed?!" Camille exclaimed, watching the manic figure with surprise as she heaved a sigh of relief.
Since Daster was fine, she naturally let go of her worries.
But the next second, it was as if she suddenly realized something. Her gaze began to shift back and forth between the two Exorcists.
"Are you... twins?" she asked.
The tall, beautiful woman didn’t answer, simply giving Camille a brief glance before casually pulling out a bottle of clear liquid.
"It’s an Evil Spirit, a little one," the other tall Exorcist, who had been dragging Daster, said as she quickly stood beside everyone, her voice just as cool.
Only then did everyone finally see Daster’s current appearance.
"Oh my god! How could he have become like this?" Camille gasped.
Looking at the man before them—his eyes blood-red, his face covered with vein-like streaks, his expression fierce—Camille and Pietro instinctively took two steps back.
Monte’s expression, however, didn’t change at all, as if he had expected this. Holding the somewhat hot cross around his neck, he glanced at the two Exorcists at his side, a faint smile even appearing on his face.
Pietro, filled with confusion, noticed the smile on Monte’s face as he watched the scene unfold.
His face grim, he asked, "Monte! What the hell is going on here?"
"Evil Spirits! Bizarre! It’s those things you don’t believe actually exist," Monte explained to Pietro, his eyes fixed on the Exorcist unscrewing the glass bottle. He shrugged. "It’s now hiding inside Daster’s body, controlling all his actions!"
"What? Bizarre? Evil Spirits?" Pietro exclaimed. He and Camille exchanged looks, both visibly shaken by this revelation.
"Isn’t that just a charlatan’s trick?" Camille impulsively retorted, only to be met with snickers.
The source of the laughter was the twin Exorcists, who were busy with their work.
"HMPH. Such a foolish and naive thought!" The tall Exorcist held the bottle above Daster’s head, her gaze turning toward Camille. "This country, America, will indeed never be short of utterly ignorant fools who only dwell within their own worlds!"
This unvarnished mockery caused Camille’s and Pietro’s cheeks to flush with anger.
"You—"
They had just begun to retort when the Exorcist interrupted.
"Since you doubt the existence of the Bizarre, widen your eyes, watch carefully, and don’t blink!" the Exorcist declared.
As the cool voice faded, the bottle suspended in midair suddenly tilted. Drops of clear liquid splashed directly onto Daster’s head.
The next second, a shrill, inhuman scream tore through the air. "AAAH!"
Puffs of foul smoke instantly rose from the top of Daster’s head.
