Chapter 246: Chapter 26: This Is a Game 26

The black-clad man stepped onto the stair, paused for a moment at the sound of the words, then resumed his stride onto the carriage.

Tianmiao lowered her eyelids, a mocking smile deep in her eyes.

After the black-clad man also sat down, the side door of the carriage closed, the horses began to gallop, and the road behind gradually disappeared as the carriage moved.

The two remained silent in the carriage, sitting in quiet contemplation. About ten minutes later, golden light began to seep through the carriage, gradually increasing, like sunlight streaming through a window.

The carriage gradually slowed down and came to a stop.

The black-clad man was the first to step out of the carriage, doing so with such skill it seemed that being blindfolded had no effect on him.

By the time Tianmiao alighted, they had landed atop a towering city, the former great hall now reduced to a mere glimmer from below.

Tianmiao looked up and saw a giant leopard crouching in the center of the high city, its enormous form occupying nearly half the city’s size, and both Tianmiao and the black-clad man were minuscule compared to its barely exposed fangs.

Seeing Tianmiao scrutinizing the leopard, the black-clad man crossed his arms and laughed, "Young lady, do you like it?"

Which eye of yours saw that I like it? Oh, wait, you really have no eyes to see. Tianmiao silently retorted, feeling she was on the verge of dying from embarrassment being with this black-clad man.

The Demon Leopard abruptly opened its eyes, its golden pupils scanned Tianmiao up and down, lingering for a long while, seemingly scrutinizing something. But soon it yawned and curled back up to continue sleeping.

"Seems it likes you quite a bit," the black-clad man added.

Tianmiao glanced at her skill cooldown. She really wanted to slash this man with her sword. But her skills were still on cooldown, so she held back.

"Ah, young lady, do you have any wishes? Over there, your every wish can be fulfilled." The black-clad man suddenly chuckled, pointing in a direction. Along with the laughter, his figure gradually faded away as if he had never appeared.

Tianmiao followed the direction the black-clad man had pointed before he vanished, seeing a tall building.

An eerie sense of familiarity washed over her.

The reason was simple: the building’s shape was too similar to her store.

Tianmiao’s lips curled slightly. Interesting, the force behind this finally couldn’t hold back?

The couplets at the entrance, along with the golden ingot placed there, made it clear to Tianmiao that someone was deliberately imitating her.

Was this incident really a "trap" targeting her?

Tianmiao slowly strolled toward the store.

Arriving at the entrance, a man and a woman stood on either side of the door, smiling.

"Welcome, guest," they said.

Tianmiao ignored them and went straight into the store.

The store’s decoration was entirely different from hers. It was obvious; how could they have qualified to enter her store, so how could they possibly know what it’s like inside?

"Ah, guest, welcome to our store." A slightly sharp voice, full of malice, greeted her.

Tianmiao looked toward the speaker, another man in black. Unlike the previous one, this man’s eyes were golden vertical pupils, quite similar to the eyes of the giant leopard seen outside.

Tianmiao didn’t pay any heed to this person, but instead showed a keen interest in examining the interior of the store. 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺

The man, seeing Tianmiao disregard him, changed his expression, his tone turning mocking, "Exalted favored of the Heavenly Dao, surprisingly still has the leisure to admire other things with death at hand."

Tianmiao’s lips curved into a smile, but she still didn’t look directly at the man, simply saying, "I don’t know where you stole some treasure to temporarily shroud my powers, but so what?"
