The Cursed Prince-Chapter 989: Raphael And Rowena
Chapter 989: Raphael And Rowena
Rowena smiled sweetly when they broke away and ended the kiss. Raphael's lips were soft and sweet as the last time she remembered. She kissed him again and finally held back. It was time to unpack and get her stuff sorted.
The plan was to stay here for a little while to meet Raphael's family and then talk about the wedding. King Draco already told Rowena that he wouldn't accept less than a grand wedding fit for a daughter-in-law of the Cretean royalty. So, it would need thorough planning and discussion.
Though Rowena didn't think they would ever get there, she just played along and let her father do what he wanted. She had her own plans.
"Are you tired after the journey?" Raphael suddenly scooped her up and took her in his strong arms. "Do you want to check the room now?"
Rowena smiled sheepishly and nodded. She reflexively wrapped her arms around Raphael's neck and leaned her head on his shoulder.
"Very well..." Raphael chuckled. "Let me show you what I did to this room before you came. Ahem... it used to be very bland and manly. So, I tried to decorate it a little bit. I hope you like it."
He walked around the huge room and showed every nook and corner to Rowena. The girl was all smiles when she admire her surroundings. It was such a beautiful room and somehow it reminded Rowena of the room she once had back when she was younger.
Even that of the cabin that she lived in with Julian. For some reason, maybe magic, it felt like she was home. An actual space that belonged to her.
"I don't like it..." Rowena blinked back the tears that stung her eyes as she cast her gaze around them, as if taking in everything for the first time. Her voice was hoarse when she continued, "I love it."
The Seventh Prince was glad that she liked all of it. He had used his memories of Rowena's room when she was younger and that of her home in the valley to decorate it as she wanted.
Before long, they reached out the window and Rowena gasped again.
This time, she saw the cris flowers.
Those beautiful small tiny purple flowers always made her feel happy and at ease. She didn't know Cretea had them.
"These are..."
"Your favorite flowers, right?" Raphael said, looking very pleased and proud. "I call it a special touch."
"I... how did you know it's my favorite flowers?" Rowena asked.
Raphael cleared his throat and his cheeks turned light pink. "When you went out of the cabin at night and took night strolls by yourself, I get worried and follow you around. You would always stop at the flower bed and take care of these flowers the most."
"That's right," Rowena said. She was in awe at how this man paid attention to even small details about her.
But soon, that feeling made her heart feel anxious. What if... Raphael noticed anything
different or bad about her?
"Why are you looking at me that way?" Raphael tilted his head to see Rowena better. Somehow he could feel there was something off about her. What was it? Why didn't she tell him? "Is there something on my face?"
Rowena smiled sweetly and shook her head. "Nothing. I am just feeling happy and grateful."
She tugged him closer for a heated kiss. She had learned quickly that a kiss could distract the man from whatever it was he was thinking. She didn't want him to think too much about her and start piecing together more knowledge and finally... know the real her.
Raphael's eyes widened in surprise.
He was taken aback, but soon, his arm snaked around Rowena's waist and he returned her energy with the same amount of intensity.
Their kisses were fiery, scorching hot, and blazing as Raphael's tongue swept across Rowena's bottom lips and begged for entrance.
She hastily let him in, relishing the sensation, and then reached out her hand across his chest and rested her hands for a moment until she couldn't hold herself any longer.
His broad shoulders and chest were a pleasure and sin in itself—to have them all in one man, he was like a tantalizing piece of meat waiting to be devoured. Raphael continued kissing her while walking with her in his arms toward the bed.
Gently he placed her on the bed and peppered her face and neck with more kisses. Rowena tugged down Raphael's robes enough for her to feel his hot skin across her own.
It was the sexiest thing she'd ever felt and it didn't take too long for Raphael himself to reach out, to strip off her clothes. He gave her chest a welcoming tight squeeze that sent pleasure down Rowena's spine.
Heavy pants echoed in the room as Raphael and Rowena made out more intensely. The robes against his waist felt incredibly tight and stiff.
The fact that Rowena once again initiated this sent Raphael's mind reeling and his inhibition to let loose, palpable in the thick and tense air.
Both of them wanted each other so much.
"Raphael..." Rowena called out in what almost appeared to be a whiny voice.
Raphael gulped a little as he stared down at her, her legs wrapped against his waist—undoubtedly feeling the burning and hard sensation poking her. Rowena's gaze was focused on him alone, shallow breaths rising from her chest. Up and down.
That movement alone was mesmerizing for Raphael and he could barely restrain himself from doing such wonderful things.
He was so excited to marry her, and right now he wanted to bring both of them pleasure. To make her feel how much Raphael missed her for the past month.
This pent-up feeling within him...
"Raphael," Rowena said his name again.
"Yes, Rowena?"
Raphael snapped himself out of his reverie to look at Rowena's red and blushing face.
"Someone's been knocking on the door," Rowena whispered quietly underneath her breath as she reached for a pillow and hugged it. "I think you should open it first."

When Draco Roseland arrived back at the Cretea Royal palace, it was already dinner time and he was late—but even then, he didn't care. Making excuses, telling lies, and gaining sympathy from others were second nature to him at this point.
What unraveled him was when Raphael told Rowena something during dinner.
"We will be having our own house."
