Chapter 600: 600 - Speak, worm.

Qingyi paid no heed to the pleas of Chen Wei and his servant.

No matter how hard they tried, he would not accept them as disciples.

He wanted all the heavenly, pure beauties for himself. How could he train disciples who would also set their sights on them?

No way.

He was far too selfish for that.

In the end, Chen Wei and Peng Tao simply gave up.

Neither of them was exactly ugly, and even if they weren’t comparable to Qingyi, if they tried hard enough, they could still win over an incomparable beauty to call their own.

In silence, everyone followed Elder Shen, entering the Celestial Fairy Pavilion and passing through countless different scenes.

It was truly enormous.

Walking a full circle around the foot of the mountain, where tens of thousands of outer disciples lived, would take many hours at a walking pace.

Because of this, there were no rules prohibiting disciples from flying.

Unless they were using private spaceships, they didn’t even need to ask permission to enter orbit and leave the planet.

Not that inner disciples would dare to do so without a ship.

Although capable of roaming through space, anyone below the First Step of the Path of Extinction Realm would face great difficulties getting around, expending nearly all their Qi to traverse the long distances separating worlds and moons.

Only those in the Star Sovereign Realm were, in fact, capable of roaming freely through the cosmos.

The best part about that size was, honestly, that the disciples could have their own rooms.

The dormitories were still divided, with separate buildings for men and women, but each building had private rooms for each disciple, rather than shared dormitories, which Qingyi hated.

Obviously, only inner disciples were given pavilions in the upper areas of the mountain, with core disciples typically living alongside their masters.

With the exception of private rooms for outer disciples, this was a very common arrangement for sects in both the mortal and immortal heaven.

"This place will be your new home as external disciples." Elder Shen stopped in front of a massive building in the southern area of the Celestial Fairy Pavilion’s domains.

"Maps of the entire sect will be distributed in your private rooms, along with your first payment as disciples, a celestial spirit crystal. This is the only one you will receive for the entire month, and it can be exchanged for sect credits.

If you wish to earn more, you will need to undertake missions. But I warn you that you are not yet ready for any missions."

As he instructed the new disciples, Elder Shen walked through the ranks they had formed, giving each of them a firm pat on the shoulder.

"You are the future of our sect. Do not disappoint me, nor the pavilion mistress. I will be in the recruitment pavilion if you need me, but know that I will not be lenient with disciples disturbing me over trivial matters. Do you understand?"

"Yes, Elder!" The young people clenched their fists, responding in unison.

"Very well. Your first lesson with the sect’s instructors will take place at the Fighting Soul Palace early tomorrow. It’s marked on the map you’ll receive in your rooms." The elder waved his hands, and then hundreds of tokens flew through the air, landing in each disciple’s hands.

Those tokens confirmed that they were disciples of the Cosmic Dawn Sect, in addition to granting access to their private quarters and serving as payment cards loaded with sect credits.

These credits were linked to a vast banking network formed by the largest chambers of commerce in the celestial heavens, and could be used as a form of payment even outside the sect.

When the elder finally left, leaving the disciples alone, many couldn’t help but feel a little confused.

Several looked at the enormous building that would serve as home for the rest of most of their lives with anxious glances.

Naturally, no one spoke aloud or made a fuss.

It wasn’t even wrong to say that Qingyi was the only one relaxed among those young people, not flinching even when receiving piercing glances from the senior disciples.

"Long Qingyi." A voice came from behind him.

When he turned to see which ant was disturbing him, he saw Young Master Luo, the one who had led the men who tried to prevent Chen Wei from reaching the sect’s selection.

"Speak, worm," Long Qingyi declared, like a dragon looking down on an insect.

"Ugh... tonight I’ll advance to the Astral blood realm and defeat you in the initiation duels during tomorrow’s class! You’ll regret meddling in the Luo family’s affairs!" he declared.

Even without Guo Tianhao around for Young Master Luo to kiss the ass of, he still had some level of courage.

"Your enemy is Chen Wei, not me. But if you want to lose every tooth in your mouth that badly, fine." Qingyi smiled contemptuously, turning his back on Young Master Luo.

"Uh... breakthrough tonight, as if that were possible. That bastard Luo has more guts than brains." Chen Wei puffed out his chest as he walked side by side with Qingyi.

"So, big brother Qingyi, how about we have a drink to celebrate? I’ll tell you everything I know about Ruoxi and the selection process to become her next adopted child! Hehehe." Chen Wei chuckled.

Qingyi wasn’t interested at first, but upon hearing the end of the proposal, he could only nod.

He had to admit that Chen Wei knew how to win a man’s heart.

Before they went drinking, of course, they had to go to their rooms to pick up the rulebook, the map, and their first payment from the sect.

When they reappeared, Chen Wei was wearing the standard disciple uniform of the Cosmic Dawn Sect, while Qingyi wore his regular clothes, wearing only the sect’s insignia on his chest.

Those black robes with golden dragons had been designed by Feiyan and tailored by Meilin, with a touch from each of his wives as well.

As such, they were basically the only clothes he wore, high-quality and made with a lot of love.

Right after they got everything sorted out, the three exchanged their celestial spirit crystals for credits and then headed into town.

It was time to have a drink and chat about beauties and the future.
