THE CEO AND ME!-Chapter 245 - "IM NOT ALONE ANYMORE!"
Chapter 245 – “IM NOT ALONE ANYMORE!”
PRECAP
"But things, as they say, do not always remain the same. When he lost his job, things changed and there was a big flood of problems in our way. He started to see me as a burden and to sum it up, I lived two out of five years in an abusive relationship thinking he would change someday….as he would always apologize later and say he would.
He would promise me but naive me took a while to understand that his promises were fake and empty. They hold no value of his words and it was hard at first to think or even do it…but I did it. "
She looked up at both Tinsley and Kian, who were quietly listening to her, not daring to utter out one word or two.
"…I left him and for days, I thought I did a mistake but not anymore…not now!"
Beth completed, petting her bulged out belly, lovingly.

"How could I show you what you mean to me?"
She questioned and it was for the first time, she was begging for him to stay in their entire history of hide and seek relationship.
"Be mine!"
It was a straightforward answer. He peeked into her orbs, expecting hopefully that she would give in.
He knew that there would be no one for him but her. He was so duped into her that there was no escape he could see.
"I m yours…behind the closed doors, always yours!"

Beth and Tinsley enjoyed their lemon tea as Kian went back to the kitchen to get the dishes ready for dinner.
"You never asked me from where I gave you that rose a few days back at work?"
Beth dropped the question and it made Tinsley to look back at her, totally caught off-guard with such a thread.
"The rose? That you gave me?"
Tinsley implored, not remembering it in the first go. But then after a while, it clicked to her mind and she made her mouth transform into the o shape, letting Beth know, she remembered.
"Where did you get it from?"
She asked and Beth kept the cup back on the table. For all this time, Tinsley had been thinking that Beth had gifted her the rose.
"He gave it to me to give it to you."
Beth simply said it, pointing at Kian, who was oblivion of their talk as he was busy reheating the dinner since he had cooked all of them in the evening itself.
And Tinsley did not know how to tract to that. She was as clueless as her heart was about the feelings she had or still had it for that man…who was her husband.
He had been sincere in what he had said and he had been keeping his words so far.
Ever since his arrival, she had got nothing to worry about. He had been doing all the household chores from cooking three meals a day to cleaning.
She had even no idea how he was managing it to go so long so far. It was surreal thinking he had a billion-dollar global company to run.
When did he get the time to work for himself?? It always was a cause of wonder for her. Because in the daytime, he would follow her around her job.
"He asked me to give the rose to you the first time but I did not. Not before I knew what his intentions were for you."
Beth said and it made Tinsley to tilt her head back to see her. Then why did she give the rose by then?
"But when I knew it…I handed it to you. "
Beth completed and she was hoping that Tinsley would take her words for words. She expected that Tin would trust her words.
So did Beth come to know his intentions for her??
Was it the same as he had told her aboutt it?
She was so clueless as she stare at him for God knows how long and yet, every time she had a hard time from stopping herself from throwing herself into his arms.
He could be so so good to you that you would lose your mind and run up to him, not being able to hold yourself back at all.
He would be that good…that good enough to make you confuse about your own self.
But then he could also turn to be so so bad that you would want to cry your eyes out and scream bloody murder for ever thinking that he could change.
And if she was alone, she would have taken that chance…a chance with him yet again, trying to brave herself, be courageous to have another heartbreak if it would follow.
But then her hands crawled down to pat her pregnant belly and she was not alone anymore.
She could not just take the risk, totally thinking about herself because now she had her daughter to think about.
Who would want to accept someone else's blood as their own??
And that question…it had no simple, clear and straightforward answer.
Knowing what kind of a man, he was…how could he ever be ready to come to a point of doing what he was saying he would?
"I m not alone anymore!"
It was the first thing that came out of her mouth as she reverted her eyes from him to Beth.
And Beth understood what Tin meant by those words, she just let out. She extended her hands and held onto Tin's.
"For a mama, her babygirl would always come first!"
Beth mumbled, smiling and it made Tin smile too, glad that Beth could get her so good.
"Ladies, the dinner is served!"
Kian declared, setting the plates and food upon the table, and waited for them to come up to where he stood, waiting for them.
"Let's go. He really worked hard on this!"
Beth whispered to Tin and they both stood up. Holding hands, they walked up to the table. Beth let go of her hand and Kian pulled her chair, letting her sit.
"Thank you!"
Beth smiled, cheekily and then Kian turned around for her, she took a sharp breath as she felt his back making in contact with her front as he pulled her chair.
"Sit!"
His lips were almost touching her frozen ears, now getting hot from his mere touch.
Her mind had gone frozen, but she then gave up and sat down, pressing her thighs together as she felt him taking his seat just beside hers.
"Have it as much as you like but do let me know how it is!"
He let out. Beth gave him a curt nod as she began eating and Tinsley too held her spoon and fork to cut her steak but he stopped her, holding her hand.
"Let me cut it for you!"
He offered and before she could say anything, he took her plate and started to cut the steak into pieces and held one piece out for her.
She awkwardly looked at him, then back at Beth, whose eyes were trained on both of them.
She had never come to see such a thing in real life and for sure, she was enjoying with a plate full of food.
Finally, not wanting to offend him or make a joke out of him, she let in. Leaning towards him, opened her mouth wide for him to put the food inside her mouth.
Their eyes were peeking into each other, throughout the moment as he slide the fork back outside. She started chewing on it, slowly.
He extended his hand forward and cleaned the side of her mouth, the corner of her lips and she curled her palm into a fist, below the table trying very hard to resist this non-erotic touch of his.
Getting lost in his grey orbs, she forgot to chew on her food and when Beth, knowingly lightly kicked on her leg to make her gain her senses back, she choked, coughing out.
Kian was quick to stand up, bring the glass of water near her mouth. She quickly drank from it as he rubbed her back, trying to soothe her up.
"Fuck! You are ok?"
He asked, looking straight into her eyes. She took a deep breath, trying to calm herself. Beth could not hold in it herself the laughter yet controlled it somehow.
"I can eat myself!"
Saying so, Tinsley snatched her plate from his hold and started to stuff food inside her mouth, before he could comment otherwise.
She was obviously affected by all his actions that she did not want to create another drama in front of her friend. She did not want him to see what his simple actions could do to her.
"Kian?"
"Yes? You need something?"
He asked as he was too lost staring at his wife. He felt a bit bad when she denied being fed by him. He did not know what wrong he did?
