Chapter 96: Arya vs Seo-yeon and Namrata

"Did you need something?" Rohit asked politely, when being called out by Arya.

She barely controlled her outburst. "You..." She looked around at the guests, then forced a fake smile, grabbed his hand, and lowered her voice. "Come with me. I really have an important task for you."

Before anyone could notice anything unusual, she led him upstairs toward her room.

As they reached the room, Arya closed the door and confronted Rohit strongly.

"You really think I’m that stupid?" she hissed. "You think I won’t find out? You sneak off, fool around with whoever you want, and no one dares question you?"

Rohit’s look puzzled . Then something clicked, he thought ’Does she knew.. No, it cant be. There has to be some misunderstanding? Or else she wouldn’t be so worked up’

"Wait... . I think there is a big misunderstanding... Can you explain."

"Explain? Explain?!" She shoved him backward with each word. "You have the nerve. You didn’t even stop to think what people would say. You think you can just pick up any girl in this house because you’ve got a big cock and a smug smile?"

Rohit felt irritated with each move she made.

If he wish, handling her wouldnt be challenge but then how would he explain to Ragini, beside he still need to figure out the mess, she is hyping about..

"Hey! Will you calm down a bit. May be I did some mistake. But shouldn’t we settle this through talks."

She shoved him hard one last time. He stumbled back until the edge of her bed caught his knees and he sat.

"What do you want to settle, huh?" she snapped, smacking his head, as she loomed over him. "I took a week off.. A WHOLE WEEK! to look after you while you were recovering, and you were busy romancing with second-rate bodyguard. Tell me how you’re going to settle that. Our family’s reputation isn’t some roadside cheap bread."

Rohit’s eyebrow lifted. ’Wait... Chanu? is it?’

Realization dawned him as he connected possible dots.

She was about to smack his head again, but Rohit caught it firmly.

Arya tried to loosen her wrist by pulling it "You dare... adopted bastard. Leave my—"

But instead she fell with him onto her bed. Rohit rolled over and took charge, pinning both of her hands on her own bed, by his good hand.

She thrashed, kicked her legs, but he kept his weight steady, giving her no room to escape.

"Let go," she hissed, "or I swear I’ll call Daddy."

Rohit leaned in close.. too close enough that his breath brushed her lips.

He replied without hesitation, "Call him. Let him see the sight. Rohit Singhania on top of Arya Singhania..." His gaze slipped to her rosy lips, clearly showing his intent.

Arya’s heartbeat slammed against her ribs. His chest pressed down on her breasts; she could feel every rise and fall of his breathing, the heat rolling off him. For one dangerous second she considered screaming. One shout and it would all be over.

But she remembered the moments she passed with him few hours before. More than that, honor is still at stake here.

She swallowed hard "Leave. I won’t say twice."

Rohit studied her for a small beat, then released her wrists and rolled to the side. He sat up and raised his hands. "Okay, my bad! I get it, you are thinking me having something with Chanu and you are wrong. I only went out with her only to buy cameras for my personal project. There was no other guard around. You can check. "

Arya massaged her clutched wrist. "Bastard, you made a strain..." She then looked at him and said, "You think I’m blind. Why did you hug her back then?"

Rohit finally understood her burning point. She seemed to arrive at the wrong location at the wrong time and saw him hugging Chanu and judged like that.

He explained, "So that explains your rage... Seriously, have you forgotten how Chanu took the blame for me and ..."

After that he explained everything from start to finish while satisfying her all accusations.

By the end, Arya’s cheeks were flushed. It was not only because she had worked herself up for nothing, but also because she hated admitting that she had felt jealous over a mere bodyguard. It was something she could never accept openly. Then she remembered how he had dared to show strength and she lost her big-sis face. She must gain it back.

She smacked his head again. "Bastard... you dare use force with your injured hand... Want to increase my leave for babysitting."

Rohit raised his hand. "Woah... I am still injured."

Then she clutched his collar and asked in a low voice, "And you.. you didn’t boasted anything related to that.. to anyone, right?"

Rohit narrowed his eyes and gave her a ridiculous look."Seriously sis. You still stuck into that."

She cooled down but still continued her little bickering—scolding him for being so ungrateful and not notifying her before he left.

As things finally settled, she let him know about the server problem and asked, flexing her wrist to ease the pain, "So tell me... how are you gonna settle this?"

Rohit saw her mobile and identified the problem from the given reports in the PDF.

This was a server crash due to wrong integration. Fortunately they had rolled back to the previous node and shifted the bugged code to a different environment, but him being an expert of mainframe computing, it was child’s play even without Lisa’s help.

He gave a smug smile and added confidently, "Give it to me. I will solve it within an hour."

Arya was surprised. "What, in an hour?"

Rohit raised his eyebrows. "Is it less?"

Arya was stupefied. "Rohit... don’t joke around. This is a server crash. It takes the whole team half a day to only diagnose and you can finish it within an hour."

Rohit shrugged. "Believe it or not, I can do it but I will keep the phone in the meantime. We still need to attend the party..."

Arya rolled her eyes. "That’s not a party. It’s a formal celebration reception which has already been pre-arranged before you returned."

Rohit frowned. "What? Wasn’t aunt Kalyani just asking for it now? You were aware..."

She tucked her hair. "What is there to get shocked about? Me and aunty were already in plans when they arrived. We wanted to celebrate our father’s return but somehow you too got some points."

Rohit’s eyes narrowed. So she was aware. He watched Arya turn her back as she took out a spare mobile from the drawer and exchanged SIMs. He tried to read her face and figure out if she had any signs of malice but she felt genuine, except for her bossy attitude.

She gave him her personal phone without the SIM and said, "I want it fixed by tonight. You better start working right now. We will go late, as I know the timing."

Rohit sighed but internally he was thrilled. He deliberately asked for more time to fix it so that he could place cameras in the meantime. He still needed to have his personal surveillance where he couldn’t trust anyone’s word on facevalue.

But before leaving he looked at Arya and asked, "You don’t mind me getting the shares?"

Arya scoffed, checking herself out in the mirror. "Like it matters. I, Arya, deserve more than you can think of."

After that Rohit went to his room. He found his cameras and other gadgets perfectly placed on his bed. He sorted them out one by one, all according to his needs.

First he chose the button camera and Bluetooth plugins for his party wear and for the rest he chose a few sticky ones and pinhole cameras that got wired connection and could be constantly used for monitoring. He kept the remaining in his wardrobe for better customization.

He checked outside and saw everyone downstairs, even Arya, so he quickly sneaked out and placed the audio and camera bugs in places like corridors and Ragini’s room, specially using the ventilator ducts where hardly anyone takes notice.

Then he returned and started solving Arya’s problems.

Time passed quickly and the hour was almost complete, so did his task. He wanted to hack into her phone now but then the maid knocked on the door calling his name. "Young master, some of your friends have arrived downstairs and wished to meet you." 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎

He wondered who it could be and felt a little irritated as he hadn’t dressed up yet. "Send them up to my room."

He went straight to change himself and searched through the wardrobe for what best to pick for the occasion. He chose his dress out and kept it on the bed waiting for them.

To his surprise it was none other than Namrata and Seo-yeon. They were in normal tops, jeans and usual hoodies as they came to meet him.

"Hi," called out Namrata.

"Hello," called out Seo-yeon.

Rohit felt a little embarrassed as his room was a little mess. He literally forgot that they would come. Still he forced a smile as he shut down his laptop.

"What a pleasant surprise." For Seo-yeon’s sake he spoke in Korean.

"So this is a boy’s room," Seo-yeon continued in korean as she glanced around, looking for something by often picking up or checking corners.

Namrata rather took a polite stance as she sat on his bed. Rohit himself sat on his laptop chair to not make them uncomfortable. "Ah sorry, it’s a bit messy. I literally forgot your arrival."

"It’s pretty normal, believe me. Sometimes my own room is messier than this," Namrata added with a sweet face.

And Seo-yeon too sat beside her giving a remark as she tried fixing the bedsheets in a way as if to probe what’s underneath. "Still okay... I guess."

Rohit chuckled at her antics. He pointed. "The thing you are looking for is in that basket."

Seo-yeon instantly paled.

Namrata asked naively, "What exactly?"

Seo-yeon looked at Rohit as if she would murder him if he dared. Then Rohit laughed. "Actually, it was a handkerchief I borrowed from her. I washed it thinking I would return it but then I ended up re-using it again."

Seo-yeon’s face turned flush red. She didn’t expect Rohit to be so teasing and boastful with her panties.

Namrata looked at Seo-yeon and became worried and asked for her well-being. Then she also offered, "If you are in urgent short of a handkerchief, I do have extra."

Rohit noted she is straightforward, naive and gullible. The interesting partners whom he mostly chose to date around because of these traits.

Then they ended up talking about a lot of things. Rohit told them about their family party and invited them which they politely refused. Rather they were more interested to know what happened that night after he left.

Rohit thought to give them a light version rather than real one but with a little twist which he might use to charm them. He told about the train incident to which Seo-yeon cross-questioned, "What, a show-off? You didn’t bat an eye to help a damsel in distress and there you are playing hero?"

Rohit cleared himself that he didn’t care about that guy on the metro line but was rather more worried about the elder man. To him one who never fears is worth saving.

That answer subtly embarrassed Seo-yeon but she gave him a tongue out.

Then he went on talking about his mother as hostage for demanding unreasonable money and omitted the rape threat part to downscale it and said, "At that time, I had no choice. So I did what I could. I tried saving my mom by putting my life on the line and ended up getting hurt. My hand bled but I didn’t leave the knife until my bodyguard dealt with the main thug and came for my rescue."

Both of them turned emotional and Rohit could swear that a few more lines would end up with them in tears.

Seo-yeon pursed her trembling lips. "You are an idiot. You should have been more vigilant and not step out of the car."

Namrata turned out to be more emotional. She went up, straight up approached Rohit and hugged him. Rohit felt a pulse of bliss as her heavy bust crushed his chest. ’Oh, G-cup?’

She added while patting him lightly, "I believe in you.. and you did the right thing."

Seo-yeon too stood up and joined the hug. "Me too unnie. Make some space."

Rohit gave her a free hand and she too joined, crushing his remaining chest with her soft pillows.

Just then Arya arrived.

She witnessed them through the open door and instantly frowned. She clenched her fist and took a deep breath spotting them and said, "Should I close the door and come back later... or are we done with the emotional reunion?"

Everyone turned around and paled instantly.
