THE CEO AND ME!-Chapter 197 - HOW AND WHEN?
"What is it?"
Kian implored, knowing something was wrong. He needed to know what was wrong without her creating such a nuisance.
I...I was preg..."
"You were what??"
Kian interrupted her midway. He strode towards her and held onto her arms, straightening her up.
"You were what?? Fucking tell me, goddammit!!"
Kian shook her body and she muffled her sobs with her hands trying to speak it out to him. That was not how she had pictured to tell him.
"I...I was pregnant!"

Her face...her tearful face reflected inside his head as he drank his whisky in one big gulp. Google search 𝐟r𝚎ewe𝚋𝚗૦ν𝘦𝘭. 𝐜𝚘𝗺
He had not been doing well. Not after the day he had come to know the truth about what had happened...that they really had lost another child.
His only regret now that if only if he had believed her...if only if he had stayed back with her at that night...
Could they have been happily pregnant at this moment??
It was the answer to this question he could never arrive at. As he sat down on his armchair in his study.
It had become his bedroom after getting home from the office. He did not bother to head inside their bedroom after that footage he had seen on the computer screen.
He only could see her figure, clamping down on the floor as she bled their child from inside her, calling out for her when he was too occupied making sure about the safety of a child that was not theirs.
Today, the holiday season had started and as per the calendar, the office would be closed until Christmas and he was bound to come back home, after staying at his office for almost every day.
He worked like a fucking robot to not think much about her, yet she would make her way inside his damn head.
He had begged Madison so much that he had lost count of it by now, she would not budge one bit.
He had a team of twenty private agents looking up for her yet they all said that it could never happen because someone was protecting her from getting discovered and he knew who they were.
You could never find someone who did not want to be found. And it made him crazy, thinking, wondering if it really was the ending of them.
He knew...he had realized that he had done a mistake, committed a very deep blunder and it was unforgivable but how could he not react the way he did upon discovering the truth about what she had done to him and his mother...
For once, if he did take her words for words and that she had no intention of separating him and his mother when she had told her father about it all...
And maybe that was the reason why he had come back to forget the past and start afresh with her.
After all, they were married and they could not change the things that they had done in their childhood.
And only to discover, that she had enough of him, wanting to break free from their marriage.
Their marriage...it did not mean much to him when they got married. He just did it for her safety...solely to protect her from getting into the trap of that bastard.
And yet things changed. She showed him how this marriage could be so much more than just a one where he sighed up his life with her to protect her.
And it was the only constant thing in his life with so many up and down that he had gone through.
And he was so used to her having with him...he could not now imagine a life without her yet he had been living in one for months now.
He had no idea where she was, how she was, with whom she was if she was alright if she was eating fine, dressing all good if she had everything she needed and what not??
He poured himself another whisky. This could have been their first Christmas together, a child of their own, on the way.
And he had to ruin it all...he just had to push her too far away that she got tired of him and left him altogether.
He drank up in his own sorrow and guilt of not being there for her when she had needed him the most.
Most of all, he could not get over the fact that they had lost another child yet of their own...it would be his third.
Alice knocked on the door and got inside, bringing in the tray of food. He was hardly home and whenever he was, she tried to bring dinner to him.
"Sir, your dinner!"
She said, keeping the tray on his table. He did not respond to her and continued drinking.
"It will get cold if you do not eat it right now!"
"Who the fuck are you to tell me that???"
He shouted at her, throwing the glass over and breaking it into pieces. Alice screamed out in fear and tried to get out of the room then and there.
He cursed out for losing his senses. He had drunk enough for the night and he stood up, walking over to her.
"Hey!... I m sorry ok? Hey?"
He called out for her and she took a step backwards with every step he took forward, trying to check out if she was hurt by his outburst.
It was this anger...this rage and fury of him that had made his wife run away from him...she had enough of his tantrum.
"I m sorry ok?"
He raised his hands up in surrender and she stopped moving, looking up at him through her eyelashes.
And nobody knew who made the move first...he or she?? How did it come to that? How did their lips crash against each other??
He was in awe...Tinsley? His mind screamed out and he pushed her away from him.
