The Celibate Tycoon Has Fallen-Chapter 13: Young Master, Can You Protect Me?
Felix Wood swallowed greedily, "Take your time, Young Master Yale."
Yelena Hughes felt suffocated but didn’t dare to move; she stared intently at Jasper Yale’s front, seeing him reach into his suit to pull out the hem of his shirt tucked into his pants.
The muscles by his waist were clearly visible, scaring Yelena into turning her head to the other side.
Her head moved under the suit, creating quite a vivid scene.
Jasper chatted with a few people nearby. Yelena was almost out of breath and wanted to pull her head out.
Jasper gave her head a light and stern pat with a warning tone, "Careful, or you’ll get your teeth knocked out."
A string of teasing laughter reached Yelena’s ears. She laid still on his lap.
After a long while, Jasper was ready to leave and finally removed the suit that covered Yelena’s face.
Felix nodded and bowed, escorting Jasper out, but his eyes kept darting to Yelena.
She quickened her pace to follow Jasper, and when he approached the car, Yelena hurriedly squeezed past.
"Young Master Yale, let me accompany you tonight."
Jasper gave her a sidelong glance, said nothing, and bent to get into the car while Yelena quickly followed him in.
Felix had no choice but to close the car door, watching as the vehicle sped away.
Yelena leaned against the window, her palms damp with sweat.
"Have you switched careers?"
Jasper suddenly asked her.
Yelena almost forgot the tiger next to her. Jasper glanced at her chest, "This brooch is nice."
As he spoke, he reached over to touch it.
Yelena hurriedly covered it with her hand, and Jasper raised an eyebrow.
She clutched the brooch tighter. "Young Master, we’re almost out of medicine at home."
"Then go with me to get it."
"Thank you, Young Master," Yelena considered for a moment, remembering her bag was still at The Sovereign Club. "Can we have the driver take us back for a moment?"
"For what?"
"I left something very important there."
Jasper seemed unwilling, "How important?"
"It’s something for you."
The driver turned back to The Sovereign Club, with Dean Holloway watching Yelena retrieve her bag and get into Jasper’s car. He dared not approach, fearing he’d alert them, choosing to follow instead.
Entering The Summit Gardens, Yelena followed Jasper inside.
He changed his shoes and walked in, but Yelena, not being the owner of the house, hesitated to look for slippers herself.
She took off her high heels and followed Jasper barefoot.
The two of them went upstairs. Jasper walked straight to the window, looking out into the night.
He seemed to forget Yelena’s presence, quickly shedding his Young Master Yale persona from The Sovereign Club.
She felt uneasy until the man turned to look at her.
The disdain was direct on Jasper’s face, "Take a look at yourself, does this look good?"
Yelena, naturally pale, looked unnaturally ghostly with a layer of foundation.
"Painted lips like that, are you taking another job to scare kids at night?"
Could he leave her a way out when he spoke?
Yelena wiped her lips with her hand.
Jasper eyed her bag, "Weren’t there things you wanted to give me?"
"In a bit, let me take a shower first."
She escaped to the bathroom. The things Dean picked had quite the scale. Yelena wrapped herself in a robe outside, pulling the collar tight when she came out.
Jasper sat on the edge of the bed, seemingly messaging someone.
The light overhead was blocked, and he looked up to see Yelena standing in front of him.
His elbows rested on his legs, emitting an air of restraint.
"When are you planning to release Felix’s recording?"
"Huh?" Yelena was suddenly alarmed. "I don’t understand what you’re saying."
Jasper had no interest in talking in circles with her. "Otherwise, why are your white thighs flashing in front of him?"
"Young Master, do you not want me to release it?" Yelena’s eyes seemed wet. "There are several lives involved. You saw it yourself earlier, Felix shows no remorse, even thinking others deserved to die."
"What if he decides to go after you?"
Felix wasn’t a reputable person. Once the report was out, it would definitely trace back to Yelena.
As a junior reporter, it’s false to say she’s not afraid of retaliation.
"But someone has to stand up; those who died shouldn’t die in vain, and the truth can’t be hidden."
Jasper’s fingers fell to his collar, undoing two buttons.
Those who report civil news often carry a sense of justice. For the first time, Jasper felt that Yelena had something beyond just a pretty face and figure—inner beauty.
"I won’t stop you. Felix deserves to die anyway. He can make money, but not from the dead."
"If you’re not stopping me, will you help me?"
"Help you with what?"
Yelena was quite good at pushing boundaries. "I see Felix is afraid of you. If Young Master is willing to protect me, I’d be unstoppable in Southcross City."
"You want me to protect you, you’ll have to offer something in return."
Jasper’s gaze swept from her face, to her standing barefoot with white feet. Yelena loosened the robe’s ties.
Young Master Yale’s gaze was distinctly unusual now, even blatantly undisguised, making Yelena feel weak-kneed.
Jasper placed his palm beside him, hoarsely saying, "Don’t shake."
His gaze was searing; she couldn’t stand it.
"Yelena Hughes, you’re quite the player."
The few straps hanging on her couldn’t conceal anything.
He extended a finger, hooking her waistband, the other hand encircling Yelena’s waist, pulling her onto the bed.
She no longer felt intensely humiliated. Just as Jasper’s lips touched hers, the phone beside rang.
He picked it up, "What’s up?"
"Young Master—"
The voice on the other end was filled with excitement. Yelena saw Jasper get up, "What did you say, repeat it."
The untucked shirt was instantly tucked back into the waistband, and Yelena heard him say, "I’ll be right there."
The desire in his eyes had vanished entirely. Before leaving, he glanced at Yelena, "You head back first."
"Okay."
Jasper left quickly. Yelena gathered her splayed body, finding the room so cold and quiet, she hurriedly got up, dressed, and went out.
With no car to take her, Yelena could only walk. As she reached the outskirts of the villa district, she heard a car horn.
It turned out Dean Holloway was worried and had stayed. Yelena opened the car door and got in.
"I saw Young Master Yale’s car leave. What happened? Thought you’d be spending the night there."
"He seemed to have something urgent."
Dean frowned, "Don’t tell me you two were in the middle of it when he left?"
"No, just about to start."
Dean slapped his forehead, "This isn’t good, sister, you’ve met your match. He pulled away from you; don’t you feel a sense of crisis?"
Yelena feared nothing else, just the thought of not getting the medicine anymore. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝓮𝒘𝙚𝙗𝒏𝙤𝙫𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝒐𝙢
Jasper had been quite interested in her before; he must have heard something in that call to cool off so quickly.
The next day, after much thought, Yelena decided to call Jasper.
Anne Hughes’s medicine couldn’t be interrupted for a day; it would be risky.
As soon as the call connected, Yelena spoke, "Young Master."
"Who is this?"
But on the other end came a woman’s voice.
