Chapter 202: 202: Gravity

"DAMN IT!"

"DAMN IT!"

"DAMN YOU!!!!!"

"AAARRGGHHH!!!"

Akaza’s curses and scream of pain shook the building of the liquor shop, and the members of the Iron Fangs took several steps back out of fear and caution.

Some had left the building from the moment Simon and Akaza’s battle began, while some decided to remain in the building, but at places they believed the battle would not affect them.

To the Iron Fangs, Akaza was their pillar, he was the true Iron Fangs.

He was their trump card and their hidden expert that very few people knew.

A few members who wanted his crown tried to attack him, but they were all defeated.

Akaza was strong.

And he was a demon with a Royal Bloodline.

They had never seen him howl with such pain before, and the unfathomable and invincible image they had of him was beginning to crumble under Simon’s hands.

As for Simon...

He approached the howling Akaza who was rolling on the ground while clutching the space between his legs.

Simon indifferently placed his foot on Akaza’s head, treating the Martial Demon with a very high level of disrespect.

"Didn’t I tell you that you’ll be under my foot very soon?"

Simon said with a grin behind his mask, and though Akaza could not see Simon’s face, he was damn sure as hell that Simon was grinning behind his mask.

The sound of teeth grinding together could be heard from behind Akaza’s mask, and a growl slowly escaped from his lips.

"You- you-you... I’LL CRUSH YOU TO SMITHEREENS!"

Simon did not hesitate to quickly distance himself from Akaza, and he knew that he made the right choice because Akaza finally used his technique.

And this was exactly what Simon wanted.

It was the main reason why he treated Akaza with disrespect and did not take full advantage of the fact that Akaza was in pain.

He wanted and needed Akaza to show him his technique so that Akaza would fully submit to him.

And the quickest way he could subdue Akaza was when he was furious.

Boom!

A ripple spread out from Akaza, and Simon’s eyes flashed as he further distanced himself from Akaza.

Simon narrowed his eyes as he saw a faint and distorted dark grey sphere around Akaza.

The dark grey sphere was hazy and distorted, and one might even subconsciously ignore it if they were not observant enough.

But Simon frowned the moment he saw this dark grey sphere.

He looked at the ground, and he saw that the ground was caved in and was slowly breaking apart, almost like an immense weight was placed in top of the floor.

’I hope it’s not what I think it is.’

The moment he had this thought, Akaza’s fingers pierced through the floor, then he slowly got to his feet with thick veins of rage showing across his upper body, arms, and neck.

He said nothing, but his black eyes stared at Simon with a rage that could shatter a mountain.

Akaza inhaled deeply, then he slammed his fists together, and the dark grey sphere which covered a ten meter radius around Akaza suddenly expanded and covered the entire building and even outside of it.

Simon groaned as he felt an immense force on his body, almost like he was carrying a mountain.

’Just as I expected. His Martial Arts is going to be so annoying to deal with. Gravity. It just had to be gravity. No wonder he has a Royal Bloodline.’

Simon was nearly on his knees, but he coated his entire body with his demonic energy, and this made it easier for him to stand.

However, the moment he raised his head, Akaza was calmly but dangerously approaching him, and Simon’s instincts screamed at him.

In the blink of an eye, Akaza appeared in front of him almost like he teleported, then a growl escaped his lips as he swung his fist at his skull.

Simon’s eyes flashed with a cold and calculating glint.

The gravitational field was still present, and his movement speed was weakened in this space.

He could not move as quickly as he normally did.

So, he did the first thing he could think of.

He swung his head forward, and before Akaza’s punch could gain enough momentum, his head and Akaza’s fist met.

Bang!

Simon flew and tumbled a few times before forcing himself to stop.

He quickly looked at Akaza, and when he saw Akaza staring at his hand with a frown, he released a soft sigh of relief.

Blood fell on the ground from his chin, and though his forehead and nose were hurt and bloodied from the immense force of Akaza’s punch, he was alive and okay.

He touched his mask, and he could feel that there were more cracks on his mask.

Akaza’s punch was that powerful in his current enraged state.

He got to his feet, and he tried moving his arms and legs so as to quickly adapt to this new gravitational pressure, but not even up to three seconds after he began, the gravitational field disappeared.

"Hmm?"

Bang!

Akaza did not waste another second before he continued his attack.

Simon glanced at him, and he saw that the gravitational force field was now in the previous ten meter radius.

Simon had questions, but there was no way he had the time to answer those questions when Akaza was right in front of him with a punch going straight for his guts.

’He’s faster than before.’

Simon noticed this, and he also noticed something that was even more worrying.

The ten meter radius of gravitational force field was three times stronger than the previous large sized gravitational field.

’This is bad.’

But in that split second, Simon noticed a change.

The pressure vanished, and it looked like all the gravitational force had gone to Akaza’s fist.

With his vast experience and absurd reflexes, he took this opportunity.

He quickly placed his arms in front of the punch in a defensive position, then...

BANG!

Crack!

The punch landed on Simon’s arms, and he felt it throughout his entire body.

It did not feel like he had just received a punch, it felt like a trailer carrying a mountain crashed into Simon from above.

It felt like a sledgehammer was used on his entire body.

And he flew.

His body flew like a ragdoll and crashed into one of the few remaining standing pillars.

His body and the force that flung him away shattered the pillar, and Simon tumbled till he crashed into the wall of the liquor shop.
