The Billionaire CEO Wants to Marry Me Every Day-Chapter 83: My Revenge Must Be Taken Too
Fanny agreed immediately: "No problem! If you need anything, feel free to find me. I’ll be staying in the country to record a fashion design show for the next few months."
"Great!"
The two chatted for a while longer, exchanged contact information, and then parted ways.
As Summer was about to hail a cab home, Assistant Shelton drove up in a business car.
He rolled down the window with a smile, "Miss Sadie, it’s hard to get a cab here, let me give you a ride home."
Since Young Master Knight left him to stay by Summer’s side, he couldn’t be at ease with her taking a cab home.
Who knows, she might be the future Mrs. Knight. How could such a distinguished lady take a cab home?
Summer asked helplessly yet curiously, "Is the Knight Group that free?"
Assistant Shelton chuckled awkwardly, and said whether it’s free or not, he just scheduled tomorrow’s itinerary for the president and reviewed three documents while waiting for Summer.
Summer didn’t decline and opened the car door to get in.
But unfortunately, midway on the road, the car suddenly broke down.
The two of them stood by the roadside staring at each other while waiting for the tow truck.
Assistant Shelton finally lost his smile, checked the location, and said awkwardly, "Miss Sadie, it might take another half hour for the tow truck to arrive. This area happens to be near Young Master Kingston’s home, how about... we ask him to lend us a car? It’s hard to find a ride on this highway."
Summer sighed and nodded in agreement.
We can’t just stupidly wait by the roadside for half an hour, right?
The Kingston Family is located in Norcross, near Forest Park, occupying a large area with a somewhat traditional architectural style, in black and white tones. There’s a white wall surrounding it, with pavilions and towers inside, like being in Varden.
When Damian Knight and Julian Kingston arrived, Isaac Ross had already brought the person to an idle underground garage.
The previously dim garage was now brightly lit.
As Damian Knight entered, he immediately saw the man rambling incoherently in the corner.
The man was in tattered clothes, with a white shirt no longer recognizable in color, torn into countless holes.
His hair was a tangled mess like an unkempt mop, looking like a mentally unstable beggar.
But even so, Damian Knight recognized him at a glance as one of the people who attempted to assassinate him on the cruise ship.
Isaac Ross saw them enter, adjusted his gold-rimmed glasses, and, together with Ryder Quinn, stepped forward to face them.
"What’s the situation?" Julian Kingston glanced at the scruffy man. "This guy slashed me with a knife abroad; back then he dressed like an international group president. How did he end up like this now? Is he faking it?"
Ryder Quinn shrugged, tossed a fake mouse aside, and shook his head, "Tested, not faking it, he’s truly not in his right mind."
Isaac Ross disdainfully kicked the fake mouse that Ryder had dropped on the ground aside, adjusted his glasses again, and said, "This guy drifted at sea for over half a month. According to local fishermen, he even encountered a shark pod. It’s sheer luck he met fishermen... But although his life was spared, his mind is not sane. We can’t get any answers from him in this state, so we can only send him to my family’s private hospital for treatment first."
Julian Kingston cursed, "This guy almost killed me with a knife, and now we have to treat him? What the hell is this...?"
Beside him, Ryder Quinn happily glanced at Julian Kingston.
"Wow, you’re even cursing now, seems like you’ve really gotten back to normal!"
Julian Kingston glared at Ryder Quinn, then walked up to the ragged man and coldly glanced at him.
"Even though we have to treat you, you still owe me for what you’ve done."
With that, he grabbed the man’s collar and delivered a punch right into his stomach.
The punch was so fierce that the man spat blood on the ground and fainted.
