"Safe Harbor?" Tang San asked, confused, as Ning Feng moved, and he was swung through the air as he and Hu Liena attacked again.

"Maybe, they said three trials, if this is the waypoint, she may be right." Hu Liena pointed out, and Tang San gritted his teeth and helped run as Ning Feng reached the platform and grabbed the rope, drawing them closer. They all three ended up on it, and true enough, the bats retreated from this point on.

Tang San panted as Ning Feng sank to the ground, sweating and drenched, her thin clothing starting to turn transparent in places where she was no longer wearing anything underneath. Seeing Hu Liena's breezy outfit as well, Tang San turned around.

"And here I thought you were a rock." Hu Liena noted a smile on her lips, panting. "Three trials, if this were our first, I am not truly keen on the other two."

"N-nor a-am I." Ning Feng said and settled on the ground. "B-Break. Y-You are heavy."

"I am not heavy." Hu Liena interrupted her. "Merely well proportioned."

Ning Feng gave her a blank look that said she was not the least bit interested.

None of them asked about the important things, not where the blue silver domain came from, the foxtail, or the numerous hidden weapons used, and the fact that a support Master like Ning Feng was even physically able to remain stable on the road with her two partners being able to move as they did.

Instead, they settled down and cultivated.

"C-could you n-not have k-kept some e-extra clothes i-in your s-storage?" Ning Feng asked, and Tang San snorted. "Question back at you."

"Let us conclude no one of us thought we needed extra clothes of all things." Hu Liena interrupted their squabble when they returned to recovering.

About an hour later, and drenched further, not from exhaustion but from heat, the three looked downwards.

"This place seems to act like a spiral and not a straight line." Tang San concluded. "Or we would have left Slaughter City long ago, but the curve is shallow; that is why we didn't notice. Now, from below, you can better grasp how it is structured.

"Yes. Though I also feel my strength waning faster." Hu Liena said. Tang San surrounded them back in the fresh blue light of his domain. The temperature dropped, and the air was cleaned as a result. Hu Liena and Ning Feng let out a relieved breath. Whatever this inner Domain was, it was powerful, immensely so.

From interfering with the bats, improving the environment, Clear Sky school truly was a place of Talent, Hu Liena mused, looking at him. Also, from Feng's movements, the tall woman seemed almost recovered. It was impressive. Feng was most likely a fellow clan member as well, Hu Liena concluded, given their fighting styles' many similarities. Most spirit masters would not be able to recover this fast from the levels of exhaustion Feng had been going through.

The short hair was still wet and sticking to her skin as she used her hand to move it out of her face. Revealing her facial features, high cheekbones, and with her keen gaze, Hu Liena admitted her companion was a stunning sight.

Tang San put his hand on Hu Lienas back, alerting her. There was no enemy in her sight yet, but it was obvious the other two had noticed. She was amazed that Feng's eyes were shimmering purple between the amber as she hissed.

"M-more trouble."

A snake twisted its enormous body over the road, its eyes a fearsome red, and it was a lot more terrifying than the bat from before. "Big T-trouble." Ning Feng noted her eyes shining like two purple beacons now, and Tang San agreed with her. Big Trouble indeed.

"When this is over, I want to ask why you are stuttering, Gu Feng." Hu Liena muttered, and Tang San huffed.

"If we survive this, I am sure she will enlighten you." He said.

"We will." Hu Liena said, gritting her teeth. "We have no other choice, don't we?"

"Agreed. I promised to meet up with my sister." Tang San huffed. "Can't be too late."

"S-Still need to a-annoy people," Feng uttered and raised her sword. "L-Let's go."

Tang San wrenched out a huffing. "Andiamo."
