Tang San's Twin Sister-Chapter 100
The day passed in a flurry as they all talked with the grandmaster in between talks. It was evening when the last person came. Dai Mubai walked out of his conversation with the grandmaster with a grim expression and a bad mood, sitting down with the others in front of the table.
His gaze wandered to Zhu Zhuquing, who was her usual expressionless self. His gaze lingered on her for a second before he took a deep breath.
"How have you all been doing?" he asked them, and the others looked at each other, waiting for whoever wanted to go first.
"Nothing new," Xiao Wu said and shrugged her shoulders. "But then I already knew him. He is a good teacher."
"How come that does not surprise me? " Dai Mubai said, and his gaze wandered to Oscar, whose expression was about as grim as his own.
"You?" He asked, and Oscar shook his head.
"Don't want to talk about it." He said and then immediately cheered up. "I'd rather go on your nerves, lover boy."
"What? wait up, Oscar?" Dai Mubai growled, and the two of them started to joke around with each other. This caused the grim atmosphere to lighten up, and everyone started to laugh amongst themselves until they were in tears. Even Zhu Zhuquing made the occasional side comment, making them all do double takes. They were not expecting the silent woman to have such dry humor as they rolled on the ground laughing.
Ma Honjun eventually started a campfire and put up some fish to roast while they were talking. Ning Feng then started to have an arm wrestling competition against him as the others stood aside, cheering for them. Feng lost against Ma Honjun and then sighed as she grumbled. She accepted her penalty and had to jump around the fire doing a chicken dance before encouraging the others silently and with nods.
It ended with Tang San and Dai Mubai lying on the ground and comparing their strengths while staring at each other. Each of them gritted their teeth, glaring at each other with sharp focus as Xiao Wu stood aside, hand in the air.
"Aaaaannnnnd Go!" She said, and the two started their match. They panted and glared at each other as they were almost evenly matched. Dai Mubai let out a growl and, in the end, managed to, even if only barely, beat Tang San and announce his victory, raising both hands into the air.
"Hell, yes." He said and then grinned. Tang San let out a dry laugh before he got up and repeated the penalty, doing a chicken dance around the campfire.
"Children!" someone shouted from a room, and they all saw Flender looking at them in his nightgown. "Shut up and finally go sleep. Tomorrow is going to be a long day."
"But it's fun." Tang Yin shouted back to him.
"Just go to sleep!" he growled back, then shut the door as they all looked at him longingly.
"Well, Damn," Oscar said, and they all nodded. The director was not about to see it too positively if they continued their small party. freeweɓnovēl.coɱ
So they slowly started to wrap it up, splitting into smaller groups as they cleaned up and finally headed to their dorm rooms. It was when Tang Yin and Tang San heard Ning Rong Rong gently calling for them to wait. They both turned around and looked at her.
Her face was visibly conflicted, but she took a deep breath. "I would like to speak with the two of you...it's important, " she said, and they both turned around. Since neither of them was tired yet, they both nodded.
"Want a glass of water?" Tang Yin asked Rong Rong as they entered her dorm room. It was strangely quiet there as Ning Rong Rong silently nodded and took the offered glass of water.
"So what is it?" Tang San asked her as she took a deep breath.
"The hidden weapons...I would like to purchase them for the Seven Treasured Glass. " She then said, "I think they would be a great asset to us."
Tang San looked at her, his expression sober. "They are part of our Clans' assets...if it is just you, I don't mind giving you a batch, but if we are talking entire clans, I am sorry, Rong Rong, but that's another dimension. If it was just me, I had to consider, and I would offer it voluntarily, but I have my sister, Xiao Wu, and Ning Feng, who are also involved."
Rong Rong stilled and then grabbed her glass of water tighter. "I do understand that. I also wouldn't ask you for free. Seven treasures would be more than willing to pay any price you put up."
"Rong Rong." Tang San said when Tang Yin interrupted him, he looked at her.
"We don't care if it is just you, but still an entire Clan. Tang Sect is not very big...hidden weapons are our lifeblood." She told her. "If you want a set, we can give it to you. No problem. We can also show you how to use it, but... we simply aren't that many people. We cannot produce for an entire clan even if we wanted to, and we are not going to give you the blueprints."
"I...I understand that," Ning Rong Rong said and then took a deep breath. "More than you might think. I only wish to purchase as many as you can give me. I would never ask you to produce for everyone."
"Rong, Rong..." Tang Yin wanted to interfere. Suddenly, Tang San covered her mouth with his hand, looking at her for a second. She stilled, knowing he had just asked her to stay quiet and let him handle this. Grumping, she settled on the bed and silently told him to go ahead.
