Alex let out a long sigh.

Alex was sitting at a round wooden table on the fifth floor of a quiet restaurant. Beside him were Selyara and Elyndra, both in their human forms.

Selyara looked calm and elegant, while Elyndra seemed curious and excited about everything around her. Even though they were terrifying World Devouring Beasts, right now they looked like two ordinary girls enjoying a peaceful moment.

Plates of warm food were placed on the table. Alex slowly ate a bowl of noodle soup while Elyndra happily chewed on a huge roasted leg of a beast. Selyara ate more gracefully, taking small bites from a plate of fruit slices. The smell of food mixed with the cool wind drifting in from the open balcony.

From their seats, they had a wide view of Golden Stone City. Since they were on the fifth floor, the entire city looked bright and alive. Streets were full of people walking, laughing, trading, and moving around. Small stalls filled the roads, and the roofs of houses shone with golden tiles under the sunlight. Far away, Alex could even see the tall stone towers.

Elyndra leaned closer to the railing and looked outside with sparkling eyes.

"This city didn't change a bit. Everything is still the same."

Alex chuckled softly, then shook his head.

"Heavenly Cloud World is a high-level world just like the Immortal Heaven World. This world has produced several Life Creation Stage and Death Domination Stage warriors. The reason I came to this world is because of a small promise I made to two girls. Not to mention, they've given me a hint about two more Blades of Hell."

Stopping for a few seconds, Alex looked outside the window as well. Selyara followed his gaze and stared into the far distance. Both of them could feel several evil auras at an extremely far range, perhaps two or three million miles away.

The strange thing about these evil auras was that they felt almost identical, as if they were born from the same source. Yet they still carried different but ferocious elements.

Alex continued, "It's just that I didn't expect that when I came here, instead of two Blades of Hell, I would encounter five."

Turning his head, he looked at Selyara and Elyndra and said, "I'm planning to visit the Heavenly Eagle Sect to take care of some small matters. In the meantime, you two can explore this world or do whatever you want."

Selyara and Elyndra nodded. Selyara said, "Take care."

"I'll be off, then."

With that, Alex disappeared.

In the heart of a vast forest, a majestic mountain range rose from the earth like a colossal eagle spreading its wings wide. From afar, the entire range looked as if a giant stone eagle was guarding the land, watching over everything with silent pride.

Sharp cliffs formed the wings, stretching outward for thousands of meters. The central peak resembled the eagle's head. Clouds curled around it like a misty crown, giving it a divine presence. Waterfalls draped down the "wings," sparkling under the sunlight like silver feathers.

Alex quietly descended near the foot of the mountain. The air was filled with spiritual energy so dense it felt like mist brushing against his skin. From here, he can see countless disciples in blue and white robes moving through the sky in disciplined formations.

Not far from where he was standing, he could see a massive stone gate, carved with the words: Heavenly Eagle Sect.

Two guardian statues shaped like soaring eagles were standing on both sides of the massive stone gate. Alex can see that these two statues' eyes were glowing faintly with inscriptions that hinted at powerful formations hidden beneath.
