Supremely Talented Tyrant-Chapter 1793 - 1994: Kabedon!!!
Capítulo 1793: Chapter 1994: Kabedon!!!
Soon after, Hao Jian arrived driving the car. As he opened the door, Liang Xiaohan took the front passenger seat, while Hu Jun helped Awu and Zhao Xiangwu into the back seats. With the door closed, Hao Jian drove towards the nearest hospital.
The Degao Affiliated School is actually not far from the city center, but schools usually choose quieter locations, so the tranquility of the Degao Affiliated School stands in stark contrast to the noise of the city center, making the two places feel completely separate. In reality, they are not very far apart.
Awu and Zhao Xiangwu’s injuries weren’t severe, but they had some flesh wounds. To prevent any potential complications, it was better to get a full-body check-up at a major hospital. So, Hao Jian drove straight to the city hospital and parked in front of it.
Liang Xiaohan and Hu Jun helped Awu and Zhao Xiangwu out of the car while Hao Jian parked the car and then assisted them into the hospital, where he proceeded with some formalities. Awu and Zhao Xiangwu went ahead for routine check-ups.
The process of registering, queuing, and seeing a doctor took quite a while. Liang Xiaohan seemed indifferent, clearly used to such situations, but Hu Jun showed a hint of concern and lacked her calmness. According to Hao Jian, Awu and Zhao Xiangwu’s injuries weren’t serious; some ointment and bruise liniment would suffice since they were merely flesh wounds.
However, he couldn’t say this aloud; otherwise, not only Liang Xiaohan but even Hu Jun, Awu, and Zhao Xiangwu might find him somewhat… Therefore, even though he was aware, he accompanied them to the hospital to pass the time while doing nothing.
While Awu and Zhao Xiangwu were getting X-rays of their bones, Hao Jian and Liang Xiaohan sat on the outside chairs waiting, with Hu Jun sitting on a chair beside them.
Suddenly, Liang Xiaohan tapped Hao Jian on the shoulder, signaling him to come over. Hao Jian looked at her, puzzled, unsure of her intentions, and followed her to a corner where they stopped in an empty space.
At this point, Liang Xiaohan looked at Hao Jian seriously, unblinkingly saying, “You won’t reveal a word about today’s events, will you?!”
Instantly, Hao Jian’s gaze changed. Initially uncertain of Liang Xiaohan’s intents, he now understood she was worried he’d use today’s events against her or inform her cousin Liang Yuwei or her father, hence the seriousness in calling him over to discuss the matter.
Realizing this, a smile appeared on his face; it was rare for this girl to be so afraid of him, even approaching him to inquire, giving him a feeling of having control over her “life and death,” a feeling almost delightful. Known for his non-seriousness, a smile instantly surfaced on his face.
Leaning against the wall, she suddenly placed a hand across from Hao Jian’s waist against the wall, startling Liang Xiaohan to step back against the wall, forming a ‘kabedon’ pose.
The atmosphere became incredibly intimate, an action typically reserved for couples or those with mutual attraction. But Hao Jian did this without reservations towards Liang Xiaohan. Taken aback, she hadn’t expected Hao Jian to suddenly trap her against the wall like this.
However, just as she was about to react and confront Hao Jian, he unexpectedly gazed into her eyes and said, “What if I do tell? How would you handle it?”
Anger showed on Liang Xiaohan’s face; Hao Jian seemed to be using this as leverage against her. Yet she was unafraid and immediately pushed Hao Jian away, saying, “If you have the guts to talk, then let’s see if you can bear the consequences—if you can withstand them or not!”
Her words exuded confidence, and she pushed Hao Jian away without a pause; her gaze challenged him.
Momentarily dumbfounded, Hao Jian didn’t expect Liang Xiaohan to push him away instantly; they exchanged smiles without speaking.
Smirking playfully, he said, “Oh, really? Am I that scared of you then? Alright, I won’t say anything. Please spare me from consequences I can’t bear; forgive my youthful arrogance and ignorance.”
Liang Xiaohan anticipated some serious words from Hao Jian, not expecting such levity at this solemn moment. Seeing his antics made it hard not to laugh.
Gone was her stern look, bursting into laughter.
Seeing this, Hao Jian smiled too. This girl was already captivating, calling her a budding beauty didn’t do her justice. Given a few years, she’d become an enchanting beauty. The mere thought was almost daunting.
Suddenly, Liang Xiaohan stopped laughing, seriously saying, “Good. I hope you’ll keep your word and not say a single word.”
Hao Jian nodded affirmatively, and before he could say anything, Liang Xiaohan turned away and gracefully left. Smiling, Hao Jian followed her back. They returned just as Awu and Zhao Xiangwu finished their check-ups.
The examination was almost complete, showing significant recovery; they no longer needed assistance.
Seeing them, Liang Xiaohan asked, “How are you doing? Did the doctor say anything?”
Awu handed the examination sheet to Liang Xiaohan, saying, “Sister Xiaohan, the doctor said it’s nothing major, and prescribed some topical medication to apply regularly. Nothing serious.”
Zhao Xiangwu nodded; his injury was similar to Awu’s, so the prognosis was the same. Hearing this, Liang Xiaohan’s concerns eased.
They proceeded to the pharmacy, but as Liang Xiaohan reached for money, she felt embarrassed. She’d left in a hurry without much cash, realizing this only at the payment moment.
Seeing this, Hao Jian smiled and handed his bank card to the cashier, saying, “I’ll pay, use the card!”
Receiving Hao Jian’s card, after he entered the password, payment was made, and he collected the medication. Liang Xiaohan stood momentarily frozen, not moving until Hao Jian gave her a pointed look, calling her forward.
The scene replayed in her mind: her first thought was how to find the money when realizing she was short. Unexpectedly, Hao Jian offered his card and paid. She hadn’t expected him to do so.
Though not her view, a guy paying is stylish, yet Hao Jian stepping up to ease her embarrassment moved her; just a slight bit of emotion.
Approaching, she took the medication from Hao Jian, saying, “I’ll repay you later.”
Hao Jian didn’t reply, just smiled. Liang Xiaohan was, after all, a student, and her uncle, likely strict, probably regulated her allowance strictly. Despite her potentially affluent home, her note on debt showed how seriously she took even minor debts, denying him a chance to make her indebted.
True to form, after speaking, she ignored him, taking the medication and heading out, where Awu and Zhao Xiangwu awaited.
Shaking his head helplessly, Hao Jian followed them.
Driving over, he found the four waiting, getting in the car. By three o’clock, school hadn’t ended, with nowhere else to go, so Liang Xiaohan requested Hao Jian drop her at school. Ten minutes later, he parked outside the Degao Affiliated School.
After they exited, Liang Xiaohan spoke to them before they headed towards the teaching building while she approached him.
She suddenly thanked Hao Jian, catching him off guard, before turning toward another direction.
Not heading for class, her destination unknown, Hao Jian didn’t follow but smiled, starting his car.
