Supreme Dragon Lord-Chapter 165: The King of Hell Will Tell You the Answer!
The scene shocked everyone to the core, making their scalps tingle. After witnessing Liu Mang’s death, the remaining disciples of the Sword Ancestor stood frozen, their faces ashen and utterly at a loss.
"Don’t kill us!"
"We surrender!"
"We’ll tell you whatever you want to know!"
Recognizing the futility of their situation, the Sword Ancestor disciples dropped their swords and raised their hands in surrender to the members of the Heavenly Demon Sect. The Heavenly Demon Sect disciples all turned their gazes to Zhang Qian, awaiting his command.
Just when the disciples of the Sword Ancestor thought the Heavenly Demon Sect would spare them, Zhang Qian issued a cold order, "Kill!"
"Yes!" the Heavenly Demon Sect disciples nodded, their eyes filled with a potent killing intent.
"Don’t..." the few from the Sword Ancestor began to plead, but they had barely uttered a word before being cut down by the Heavenly Demon Sect disciples.
Although the ambush had cost the Heavenly Demon Sect many disciples, they had succeeded in completely annihilating the group from the Sword Ancestor. To them, this was a great victory. The Heavenly Demon Sect disciples present cheered loudly in their excitement.
Zhang Qian’s gaze, however, fell upon Long Chen. After sizing him up for a moment, he spoke slowly, "You’re quite strong. What’s your name? How come I’ve never seen you before?"
Facing Zhang Qian’s questions, Long Chen replied calmly, "My name is Hao Chen. Senior Brother is busy with countless matters in the Sect. How could you have time to notice all of us? It’s only natural you wouldn’t recognize me."
Hearing this, Zhang Qian smiled. "You have a point. With your current strength, you shouldn’t be languishing in obscurity. I’ll remember you."
His words immediately drew envious looks from the other Heavenly Demon Sect disciples.
"That guy is so lucky!"
"To gain Senior Brother Zhang’s favor, won’t his status in the Sect rise steadily from now on?"
"If only I had half his luck! I could get a superior Cultivation Technique to practice and my strength would soar!"
The Heavenly Demon Sect disciples murmured amongst themselves.
Long Chen, however, had no interest in these so-called promotions. Still, to avoid arousing suspicion, he politely clasped his hands and said, "Thank you, Senior Brother."
Zhang Qian laughed heartily and nodded in satisfaction. He turned to his fellow disciples and announced, "Loot the bodies of the Sword Ancestor members. We’ll exchange their belongings for resources back at the Sect. You all worked hard to complete this mission, and you will all be handsomely rewarded!"
Hearing this, the Heavenly Demon Sect disciples grew even more excited, their earlier frustration and discontent vanishing in an instant.
SCHLICK!
Just as Zhang Qian was about to leave, his entire body convulsed. His eyes bulged as he spat out a mouthful of fresh blood. Looking down, he saw a sharp sword blade had pierced clean through his torso, blood dripping down its edge.
Zhang Qian’s hands trembled as he reached for the blade, but Long Chen abruptly yanked it from his body. Excruciating pain exploded in his chest, twisting his face in agony. He fought through the pain and turned around with great difficulty, only to see Long Chen staring at him with a cold, indifferent expression.
His face filled with disbelief, he stammered, "Why... why?"
"Why?" Long Chen sneered. "The King of Hell will tell you!"
As his voice fell, Long Chen swung his Blackwind Sword.
SWISH!
Blood splattered as a head flew through the air. The headless corpse collapsed to the ground, bathed in blood, its eyes still wide with disbelief. He probably never imagined he would meet his end at Long Chen’s hands. What he could have never guessed was that Long Chen was not a member of the Heavenly Demon Sect, but of the Martial Ancestor. These were answers he would now take to the grave.
The sight was enough to make one’s scalp tingle. The remaining Heavenly Demon Sect disciples were dumbfounded, unable to process what had just happened.
Zhang Qian, one of the Heaven’s Chosen of the Heavenly Demon Sect, was dead?
They finally snapped out of it when they felt the killing intent radiating from Long Chen.
"You..."
"Why did you ambush Senior Brother Zhang?"
"What do you think you’re doing?"
Long Chen ignored their questions, his cold gaze fixed upon them. "Now, it’s your turn."
Hearing this, their expressions turned grim.
"Kid, you only killed Senior Brother Zhang with a lucky sneak attack from behind," one of them shouted. "You may have some skill, but it’s naive to think you can take on all of us by yourself!"
"Brothers, he killed Senior Brother Zhang! That’s an unforgivable crime! If we capture him, the Sect Leader will surely grant us a great merit!" another disciple yelled.
The eyes of his comrades lit up with greed and determination. Spreading out, they launched their attacks at Long Chen from different directions. Among them, the strongest was merely at the Fifth Layer of the War Ancestor Realm. To Long Chen, they were no threat at all.

Instantly, their cultivation was suppressed down to the First Layer of the War Ancestor Realm.
"This..." The Heavenly Demon Sect disciples were all taken aback.
Before they could even begin to understand what was happening, Long Chen swept his sword out.
SWISH!
A flash of cold light shot into their bodies, slicing them all in half. None survived.
After finishing them off, Long Chen sheathed his Blackwind Sword and collected their Tokens. There was no room for mercy or compassion when dealing with disciples of the Heavenly Demon Sect. If his true identity were exposed, he would face a relentless hunt and certain death. What happened here could never be known by anyone else, and only the dead can keep a secret.
