Chapter 1958: Chapter 2021: Tearing Apart a Sports Car by Hand

The captain of the Traffic Police Brigade didn’t dare to argue either, as their ranks were different anyway, and moreover, it involved Li Yifei. In the Mile City’s officialdom, there’s a common rule: it’s better to provoke the secretary and the mayor than to provoke Li Yifei. If you provoke the former, maybe nothing will happen, since the officialdom in Mile City is harmonious, and the party and government heads cooperate well. But if you provoke Li Yifei, who knows what the consequences will be; losing your job is a minor issue.

So he quickly arranged for personnel to intercept them.

The other party was driving a sports car, and naturally, they’re not ordinary people. It’s not that there are many people who can afford a sports car worth millions, but the key is that those who have this kind of money rarely buy sports cars. They focus more on status and enjoyment, so they prefer luxury cars. Sports cars are flashy but not necessarily comfortable or practical.

In short, even though the other person may have a complex identity, the captain of the Traffic Police Brigade still had to ’follow the rules’. And these rules are basically Li Yifei’s words.

Ning Changzheng thought about it and still felt uneasy, so he put on his shoes again, grabbed his bag, and headed out. His wife asked him where he was going, and Ning Changzheng only said there was an urgent matter at the bureau.

Thinking about it, Li Yifei had been quiet for a few months. So suddenly raging this time, how could Ning Changzheng not be cautious?

With just one word from Li Yifei, many people in Ning City moved into action: Ning Changzheng, the captain of the Traffic Police Brigade, and some officers below were all mobilized. Li Yifei also sent the car’s license plate number to Ning Changzheng. After viewing it, he realized it was from the provincial city side, which eased his pressure a bit. Although Li Yifei would bear the brunt no matter how big the trouble was, any reduction in pressure is welcome. If he caught some rich kids from Mile City, with parents he might know, it wouldn’t look good.

Ning Changzheng called Li Yifei to inform him that forces had been deployed, roadside surveillance cameras were searching, and they even contacted the provincial city for monitoring assistance.

While talking on the phone, Li Yifei suddenly interrupted Ning Changzheng and said, "Wait a minute, they’re coming back!"

Li Yifei’s fierce side emerged. He clenched his teeth, went to the trunk, retrieved a jack, and a steel pipe, and strode into the middle of the road. Those sports cars roared closer, their headlights glaring brightly, utterly arrogant; from far away, you could hear the booming stereo inside.

Ye Yunzhu sat in the Accord car. At this moment, she had calmed down, knowing what Li Yifei intended to do, but she didn’t stop him. After all, racing is wrong; it’s extremely irresponsible for personal safety and others’. Moreover, not only did it scare her, it ruined what could have been a pleasant outdoor game with Li Yifei, which was why she was upset—perhaps tomorrow she’d get her period, and tonight was her only chance to feel happy. If unlucky, it might come soon...

Li Yifei stood in the middle of the road. On the phone, Ning Changzheng could now hear the roaring sound, but he dared not shout at Li Yifei, though he was very curious about what Li Yifei was up to.

"****, get out of the way!" Suddenly seeing someone in the middle of the road, the guy in the lead car cursed immediately. They chose this road for racing for a reason. It’s recently built, belonging to a newly developed area, wide and with few cars, especially at this hour, so suitable for racing.

Someone suddenly appeared in the middle of the road—a slight delay in braking or turning could hit them—thus he cursed immediately but didn’t reduce speed.

Li Yifei squinted; the opponent’s car lights were dazzling. But since he was angry, he didn’t dodge either. Given the speed of the sports car, it would reach him in the blink of an eye, and simultaneously, Li Yifei swung the jack, accurately timing the moment, landing it brutally on the sports car.

The man’s eyes widened instantly in the sports car. He hadn’t planned to turn or slow down, but he never expected the man to raise his hand and throw something at him.

"Damn you!" The guy in the car only managed to curse out the sentence as he heard the sound of a crash. The jack hit the car body, bounced up, smashed the window, and even damaged the passenger seat.

Meanwhile, Li Yifei crouched on the spot, leapt high, directly jumped over the sports car; this car was moving fastest, and Li Yifei struck fiercely precisely because it was the lead car before.

It was a Porsche 918, genuinely worth millions, so it was leading.

Li Yifei’s hatred focused on this car, so he directly struck it. Of course, if he intended to kill the person inside, he could aim the jack at the opponent’s face, and everything would have been resolved, not the passenger seat.

Clearly seeing someone but refusing to brake or evade; that’s a more severe offense.

After landing, Li Yifei turned to watch the out-of-control Porsche 918 desperately braking, perilously avoiding flipping over, eventually stopping a hundred meters away, scraping a trail of sparks along the ground. The other sports cars, partially lagging, hurriedly hit their brakes after witnessing the scene ahead!

"Damn it, who the hell is this!" The people inside the car started to curse angrily, one after another stopping their cars and rushing towards Li Yifei, wielding their weapons.

"How dare you lay a hand on Young Master Hua!" One of the lackeys, trying to show off with his BMW Z4, brandished a rubber stick and charged at Li Yifei. The others displayed similar actions, but Li Yifei didn’t waste words with them and directly strode towards them, knocking each one down with a single punch.

Most of this group was from Mile City, though the majority came from the provincial capital and were generally young, some appearing not even fully grown. The males dressed ostentatiously, while the females wore revealing clothing, some practically exposing their breasts. These young thrill-seekers racing their cars infuriated Li Yifei, who needed less than a minute to flatten them all, then headed towards the car he had smashed.

Young Master Hua, inside the Porsche 918, went pale and looked terrified when the car stopped. Li Yifei walked over, punched through the window, reached in and grabbed him by the collar, and with a slight tug, pulled him out.

"What are you doing?" Young Master Hua, stuck halfway out the window, finally snapped out of his shock and began to struggle, shouting at Li Yifei.

"******!" Li Yifei yanked harder, pulling Young Master Hua out along with the car door. Releasing his grip, Young Master Hua fell to the ground with the door.

"Ouch..." Young Master Hua cried out in pain, stuck at the window, anxiously calling for help from his companions. "Come over, quick, rescue me."

But his buddies had already been knocked down by Li Yifei, and the remaining ones dared not approach.

Li Yifei, smelling the strong scent of alcohol from Young Master Hua, realized he had been driving drunk. He was about to step up and teach him a lesson when a man he had knocked down earlier rushed over, wielding a knife—a machete, not just any knife. As he charged, he swung the machete with lethal intent towards Li Yifei.

A cold gleam flashed in Li Yifei’s eyes. The guy was indeed audacious, daring to use a knife in the street. Li Yifei lunged forward and grabbed the blade with skill and power, halting the machete mid-swing.

The man holding the knife was briefly stunned, clearly not expecting Li Yifei’s strength. He soon became enraged, letting out a furious grunt, attempting a kick.

Unfortunately, he was too slow and not strong enough. Li Yifei kicked out, his foot reaching the man’s face instantly, while the man’s leg barely moved.

"Crunch..." The sound of bone cracking echoed, as Li Yifei’s kick broke the man’s leg. He lost control, looked down at his leg in confusion, and fell to the ground with a scream like a slaughtered pig, causing others eager to attack Li Yifei to pause, pondering who he really was, and how he could be both adept and ferocious.

Displeased by the noise, Li Yifei kicked the man again, knocking him unconscious.

"You..." A few who had rushed ahead stopped in shock, eyeing Li Yifei, their corners twitching. Damn, this guy was too brutal, knocking the man out simply for being noisy?

A few mentally shouted in dismay, complaining but unable to voice it. Sadly, Li Yifei didn’t hear their thoughts. Seeing they were too scared to come forward, he coldly stated, "Everyone, crouch down with your hands on your head!"

Someone shouted defiantly from the back, "Why? Do you know who we are, daring to talk to us like this!"

"I don’t know, nor do I need to know!" Li Yifei located the speaker; as everyone experienced a blink, his figure appeared before the speaker, grabbed his neck, lifting him into the air.

"Let go! Let go of me!" Naturally, the person struggled, but Li Yifei had already clenched his other fist, punching the guy in the stomach, causing internal upheaval, ready to vomit, yet unable to due to the grip on his neck, suffering immensely.

Li Yifei sneered, noting the alcohol on most of them—drunken driving was indisputable. He punched the guy again, driving the words back down his throat before releasing him, watching him fall like a pile of mud, hands clutching his neck, quivering before vomiting finally.

After taking down several defiant ones in succession, Li Yifei thought he’d intimidated the group entirely, but surprisingly, a few weren’t scared and wanted to continue fighting him.
