They stubbornly cling to this point, belittling Jiang Cheng's theory from different angles.

This mode of attack is indeed tricky, as Jiang Cheng finds it difficult to refute their words.

They haven't said anything substantial, just used some vague arguments to downgrade his theory, so Jiang Cheng can't directly refute their words either. He can't convince everyone of the value of his theory just by talking.

Value is a very subjective thing; everyone has different views, and mere words can't convince others.

Only by presenting tangible evidence can you make everyone believe in the value of what you have.

Jiang Cheng can't just grab everyone and insist that his theory is very valuable and has great potential impact on the future.

No one can be certain about the future, so Jiang Cheng can't immediately prove the value of this theory.

To completely refute those people's views, Jiang Cheng has to present enough evidence to prove the correctness of his theory.

By that time, the value of this theory will naturally manifest in front of everyone.

If his theory is validated, those people's words will collapse on their own, and he will decisively win this debate.

Unfortunately, such a theory is not easy to validate; research on dark matter has always been difficult for humanity, and many experiments are quite troublesome to conduct.

In the realm of observation, it has always been challenging for humanity to conclusively prove a theory with experiments; dark matter is no exception.

Even if Jiang Cheng personally designs some ingenious experiments to prove his theory indirectly, it still takes time to complete these experiments.

Now, Jiang Cheng has assigned all these experiments to Yang Jiqian, and even if he wants to be anxious, he cannot rush it.

Jiang Cheng has to wait for a while before he can slap those people's faces hard.

The only reason those physicists dare to jump out and attack Jiang Cheng is because they understand how difficult it is to prove theories about dark matter.

They are not afraid of being confronted by Jiang Cheng through experiments, which is why they dare to speak so recklessly. If they knew that the experiments have already been designed, they probably wouldn't dare to speak those words so blatantly.

Although Jiang Cheng can't directly refute their words, he can tell everyone one thing.

History will always validate the value of such things; it's just that it often requires a long waiting time.

Jiang Cheng quickly made a public speech in response to those who doubted him.

He wants everyone to believe that those who say this theory is worthless are wrong, that history will prove his correctness, and that this day is coming soon.

Here I will share a story from mathematics, a story about a great mathematician.

This great mathematician, Lobachevsky, discovered what is known as Lobachevsky Geometry, or Non-Euclidean Geometry.

Lobachevsky Geometry was completely different from the geometric system at that time, even overturning the original system.

Back then, he faced the same treatment as I do now: all the mathematicians did not recognize his theory, thinking it was of no value to the development of mathematics.

Even many contemporary mathematicians vilified him, saying he was always fantasizing about unrealistic things.

History often astonishingly repeats itself, and today I face the same treatment as he did.

Jiang Cheng refers to Lobachevsky, a mathematician from Bear Country, who faced similar experiences to him back then.

Lobachevsky initially discovered that the fifth postulate of Euclidean geometry was too complex, not resembling a complete axiom, but rather a premise.

The fifth postulate of Euclidean geometry states that through a point outside a line, there is only one line parallel to the known line.

This was something everyone learned in school and is known as the parallel postulate.

Lobachevsky made a hypothesis at that time: through a point outside a line, there are at least two lines parallel to the known line.

Then, through this hypothesis, he deduced a complete geometric system, known as Lobachevsky Geometry.

This geometric theory truly conflicted with many people's understandings, as such imagination was unheard of and seemed to be mere fantasy.

Therefore, Lobachevsky faced cold indifference from the entire mathematical community back then, with no one recognizing his theory.

It was because Euclidean geometry was too deeply ingrained in people's minds, and Lobachevsky's theory contradicted the old geometric system.

But eventually, Lobachevsky Geometry was proven to be equivalent to Euclidean geometry on a unit sphere.

It was merely a matter of different curvatures, and both were actually correct.

Ultimately, time gave Lobachevsky the justice he deserved, albeit long after his death.

Jiang Cheng, like him, is questioned by everyone, without a single person agreeing with his viewpoint.

However, his situation was much more miserable than Jiang Cheng's, as he was directly persecuted because of his theory and lost his university job.

No one dares to do that to Jiang Cheng in reality; attacking his theory is already the limit.

Jiang Cheng is better off than Lobachevsky simply because his influence is so immense that even physicists can't do anything about it.

Given Jiang Cheng's current position, it's already commendable that he doesn't persecute others over academic disputes, let alone allow others to persecute him. It would be very easy for him to target those physicists who question him.

As long as Jiang Cheng announces his intention to deal with them, someone will naturally arise to trouble them, making them lose their livelihoods with ease.

However, Jiang Cheng doesn't want to do that; he believes academic matters should remain within academics, and entangling them with other things is just boring.

So, while waiting for the experiments to be completed, he can only voice his grievances in this manner.

In passing, he is also expressing his discontent for Lobachevsky's past treatment, hoping more people will recognize this great mathematician and understand his immense contributions.

Lobachevsky didn't live to see his theory recognized.

He passed away with endless regret, but time proved his greatness and gave him a fair evaluation.

"Ultimately, history has given him sufficient acknowledgement, proving his significant contribution to the development of mathematics.

Therefore, I must say here, history will prove it one day, because history is the most impartial.

"Those who doubt me are no different from those who opposed Lobachevsky back then.

"One day, they will be proven to be ignorant fools, and I believe that day is fast approaching.

"At that time, I will use facts to harshly slap their faces, letting them know what price they will pay for their actions."
