Chapter 693: Chapter 363: Black Obsidian Legend and Heaven’s Change (Part 2)

"According to the information you have here, if there’s no mistake, they must be hiding their strength." Shax looked at the surprised Frost Wolf and said slowly, "Judging by their appearance, they should have long been in contact with the sanctuary inside the Restricted Area, or the Black Obsidian Martial Arts Hall emerged from within the Restricted Area, quietly developing in Chasing Light City. It’s even possible that the back of the Black Obsidian Martial Arts Hall is the Frost Shelter, a Human Race sanctuary."

"Is the Frost Shelter a force cultivated in our Mist Mountain Region?" Frost Wolf also felt that the Black Obsidian Martial Arts Hall was a force nurtured by Frost Shelter, making everything explainable.

The Frost Shelter is a sanctuary for the Human Race, and the Black Obsidian Martial Arts Hall is a predominantly Human Race force. Moreover, a martial arts hall that developed from a city gang, how could it grow so fast, with waves of bone forging and blood coagulation realms appearing one after another? Only a sanctuary from the Restricted Area could have such a foundation and strength.

"Frost Wolf, shall we join forces?" Shax said with a smile, "This Frost Shelter is a big fat sheep; if they can defeat the Baroque Corps, there must be plenty of good things. If we can capture it all, the contribution is unimaginable."

"I remember Frost Shelter seems to belong to Gus Ang; if we dare to act, Gus Ang probably won’t stand idly by." Though tempted, Frost Wolf shook his head, knowing the rules of harvesting in the Restricted Area, "If we act, and Gus Ang reports to the Star Lord, we’ll be in big trouble, and the contribution will all go to him."

All the sanctuaries in the Restricted Area on Canglan Star are already allocated, and even though the allocation of Frost Shelter seems problematic, ending up with Gus Ang, once set, it won’t change.

Plundering other corps’ goods is something the Imperial Country strictly prohibits because too many such incidents had caused heavy casualties internally. Hence, strict regulations were established: any violation leads to severe penalties, ranging from paying two or three times the compensation to being dealt with, which even the Star Lord dares not violate.

"Who said anything about acting against Frost Shelter?" Shax chuckled, "Isn’t the Black Obsidian Martial Arts Hall within your Mist Mountain Region jurisdiction? If you act on your own turf, who can have an opinion?"

Canglan Star’s four overseers each govern a region without interference. Within their jurisdictions, overseers can do as they please as long as they provide Prison Dragon Star with enough good goods yearly. As for people from other areas coming into the jurisdiction, the overseer can act as they wish, with no one else entitled to interfere.

"That’s indeed feasible." Frost Wolf nodded, eyes shining, "But let’s agree first: this is my territory, I take seventy percent, and you get thirty percent."

"Fine, thirty percent it is." Shax agreed without hesitation, "But we need to act quickly. We likely only have one chance; after this, they might hide in Frost Shelter."

"Don’t worry, I’ll mobilize the entire Domain City’s strength to ensure not a single person from the Black Obsidian Martial Arts Hall escapes!" Frost Wolf grinned.

"Mobilize the entire Domain City’s strength? You’re as ruthless as ever." Shax clicked his tongue, "Aren’t you worried about the loss of manpower affecting future cultivation?"

For them to jointly take down the Black Obsidian Martial Arts Hall, Shax had no doubt. Outside the Restricted Area, they wouldn’t be suppressed and wouldn’t have the sanctuary cause a qi and blood field reducing their strength. Within the Four Domains, they could exert 100% of their power, even stronger than Baroque in the Restricted Area, not to mention they’re two corps leaders.

On the entire Canglan Star, apart from the Holy Hall, nowhere posed a problem.

Initially, Shax thought only his corps would act, with Frost Wolf taking a part of the Insect Race captains to capture the Black Obsidian Martial Arts Hall and grab some good goods for a hefty profit. Unexpectedly, Frost Wolf intends to mobilize the whole Mist Mountain Domain City’s strength to capture everyone from Black Obsidian Martial Arts Hall, truly ruthless.

Though the entire Mist Mountain Domain City’s power can’t compare to his corps, these forces come from different tribes in the Mist Mountain Region, under his dominion of forty-one cities. These people are free from parasitism, presumably, the power Black Obsidian Martial Arts Hall has been striving for.

If these people gather, numbering millions, though not mighty, they’ll be a major hassle for Black Obsidian Martial Arts Hall, effectively facilitating capture and preventing escape.

"Once this is done, I’m sure to get a promotion; what does the future of the Mist Mountain Region have to do with me?" Frost Wolf shot a glance at Shax indifferently, "Alright, let’s head to Canglan Star now; it takes considerable time to mobilize the entire Domain City’s strength, not to mention we need to act covertly first."

"Alright, let’s take my warship." Shax nodded.

Fourth-class cultivation planet Canglan Star, Chasing Light City, Chasing Light Building.

In the top-level City Lord’s office, as two men in black cloaks, completely concealing their appearance and identity, were led in by the city lord’s personal guards, City Lord Diroya frowned slightly.

"Who are they, and how were they allowed in?" Diroya glanced at his personal guards, face darkening.

This being his residence, letting unidentified people in showed a lack of respect and consideration as if anyone dared to meet him, displaying an ignorance far inferior to the guards who trained in Red Moon City before, devoid of basic common sense.
