Submitting to My Best Friend's Dad-Chapter 831 : Danger Again
*Cat*
Today was perfect. Elio was such an amazing man. He planned the boat ride, which turned out to be a whale-watching tour, and a beautiful dinner right on the beach. It was all so magical, and I couldn’t imagine a better way to end the night than with pleasure–pleasure from him, pleasure from me.
I wanted to make him feel as good as he had made me feel today, but by the way he was touching me, I thought he wanted to take the lead first.
“You smell so good,” he breathed on my neck.
Words escaped me. Only heavy breathing came from within me. It was dark in the bedroom until Elio reached over and turned on the small dim lamp.
“I want to see you,” he said as his eyes devoured my figure.
I began to reach my arm around my back to unzip my dress, but he caught my hand quickly. He shook his head slowly and brought his mouth to my ear.
“I’ll undress you.”
I nodded, willing to obey his every command. He seemed pleased as he turned me around, my back facing him. Elio tilted my head, gently pulling all my hair away from my neck, leaving it exposed for his lips.
His started behind my ear, kissing softly. I felt him bare his teeth, grazing gently down the side of my neck until he reached the top of my shoulder. His teeth dug in slightly before he kissed my skin once more.
Tonight was turning out to be very different from last night. He wanted to take his time with me, no hurried motions. Elio wanted to show his love for me. I had to admit, I loved it, letting the entirety of my body relax as he teased every inch of me.
Slowly, he fingered the zipper on the back of my dress, his short fingernails grazing my skin as he lowered it to the bottom. Tiny bumps sprouted in his wake. I wanted more.
Elio brushed the straps off my shoulders, letting the dress fall to a puddle on the floor around my feet. I went to turn around, but he stopped me, pulling my half-naked body against his still-fully clothed one.
I could feel him hardening as I pushed myself further against him, arching my back and laying the back of my head against his shoulder.
“Elio,” I breathed.
“Patience, sweetheart,” he moaned into my ear. “I have so much I want to do to you before I fill you up.”
A moan escaped me. Without thinking, I reached my arms back and unbuttoned his pants. Surprisingly, he didn’t stop me. Once the zipper was undone, I pushed his pants down to the floor, gliding my hands along his legs as I stood back up. I gently grabbed his length through his boxers, stroking slowly.
Elio moaned this time, bringing his lips back down to my neck. “Did I say you could do that?”
“You didn’t stop me,” I breathed.
He turned me around, his eyes burning holes into mine. Our lips collided, and I could feel myself getting wetter. He almost had me begging for it at this point.
As we continued to kiss, he moved me toward the bed. I sat down as he removed his shirt. He unhooked my bra, leaving only my panties to decorate my body.
He looked so good. I couldn’t wait any longer.
I dropped to my knees, pulling his boxers down as I looked up to meet his eyes. No words were spoken. We didn’t need words when our eyes spoke for us.
My lips kissed his abs and his waist as I stroked him, rubbing him on my naked breasts. He leaned his head back for a moment, moaning.
It was such a turn on to hear him moan. I began to rub small circles against myself with my fingers. Licking my lips, I was about to take him into my mouth when Elio’s cellphone started to make noise. I looked up at him, seeing if he wanted to answer it.
He shook his head. “Keep going, baby.”
I was trying to stay in the moment with him, but a slight fear began to nag at me. What if that was my mother trying to get through to tell us something was wrong with Emilia?
The ringtone went silent, and I quickly shook the bad thoughts out of my head as Elio moaned my name.
Before I could open my mouth to resume, my cellphone began ringing. I jumped to my feet in a panic, reaching for my phone. My heart was racing. I was sure that there must be something wrong for someone to call both of our phones. I knew I couldn’t bear it if something was wrong with Emilia.
When I saw the name on the screen, a slight relief washed over me. It was Franky.
“Franky?” I answered.
“I’m real sorry to interrupt, Cat, but I need you to put me on speaker. I need to speak to, Elio.” Franky said in a serious tone.
I put him on speaker and looked at Elio with concern.
“You’re on speaker,” Elio said.
“Junior’s been sighted,” Franky said. “You’ll never believe where either.”
“Get on with it, Franky. Why is this so important it couldn’t have waited?” Elio huffed, clearly annoyed that he interrupted us.
“He hit your regular office, Elio,” Franky replied.
I shot Elio a look, feeling the fear creeping back in at full force.
“Was anyone hurt?” Elio asked, quickly putting his pants on.
I followed suit, grabbing a pair of lounge pants and a T-shirt to throw on. My hands had begun to shake. All I could think about was Emilia. I wanted to get back home to her right now. I could only hope Elio felt the same.
“No, no one was hurt, but I think this needs to be addressed sooner rather than later,” Franky suggested.
“Triple the security around my house. We’ll see you soon,” Elio told Franky before hanging the phone up.
He sat down on the bed, resting his head in his hands before getting to his feet again. Elio walked over to me, knowing I’d be freaking out. He wrapped his arms around me tightly.
“Can we go back home?” I asked in a quiet voice.
Elio met my eyes. “Of course, my love. I was thinking the same thing.”
I nodded my head, grateful he’d agreed. He kissed my lips gently before walking into the bathroom. I went to work quickly at packing all of our stuff up, but when Elio came out of the bathroom, he told me he would have his guys pack the rest of our stuff and drop it off at home.
He scooped up my hand with his, our fingers intertwining as we walked outside. He opened the passenger door to his Corvette and helped me inside.
He leaned down on one knee and kissed the back of my hand. “Everything is going to be all right, Cat. I promise. I will slay this monster for you.”
Tears began to pool in my eyes, threatening to spill over. I reached for him, taking him into a hug, inhaling his scent as I tried to calm myself down.
“I love you,” I whispered.
“I love you.” Elio brought his lips to mine.
After he closed my door, he quickly got in the driver’s seat and revved the engine. My heart was still racing slightly, anxious to get home and hold my baby girl in my arms. I needed her in my arms. I needed to know she was safe.
I couldn’t help but to be brought back to my thoughts of wanting to leave the mafia. Elio and I couldn’t even go out of the city for a few days without something bad happening.
I was so grateful to Elio for planning this getaway. He was trying to distract me from my worries, my fears. But that was just it, wasn’t it? It was only a distraction. And distractions never last.
The fear, the worries, the nightmares, the doubt–they would always come crashing back into my life eventually. I didn’t think I would ever truly be free of these things until we were out of this life.
Elio hated the idea. I knew he was only saying we would leave if things got too dangerous to make me feel better. He probably hoped it would satisfy my mind. But did he really mean it? And what is his definition of “too dangerous?”
Was it too dangerous when our sweet, innocent baby girl gets kidnapped, or when Junior decided to attack me? How far would he let things go before finally agreeing to leave this life?
These heavy thoughts were exhausting. I leaned my head against the window after I rolled it down slightly to inhale some fresh air. I felt Elio’s hand land on my thigh, gently squeezing.
“Talk to me, Cat. What’s going through that beautiful head of yours?” His tone was surprisingly gentle.
I couldn’t tell him the truth right now. It would only start a fight, I knew it. And I didn’t have the energy for a fight. All I wanted was to get back home to my daughter.
“I’m just surprised Junior would go this far,” I admitted.
“I think we all are. He’s just lucky I wasn’t there when he showed his face,” Elio sneered.
“Our wedding is less than a month away, Elio. If he’s hitting your office, what’s going to stop him from hitting our wedding?” I said, trying not to cry.
“Me, Cat. I am going to stop him. Okay? He doesn’t scare me. His little stunt at my office does not scare me. If anything, it’s pissed me off.” He was clearly trying to control his anger in front of me.
I nodded my head, not wanting him to get further worked up about it. “Thank you, again, for this trip. I loved every second of it.”
Elio’s tone softened as he spoke. “Of course, my love. You know all I want is for you to feel happy and loved.”
“I know,” I replied, grateful for his love for me.
“Don’t let what Junior did tonight scare you, okay? I’m going to handle it.”
“I know you will.” I decided to show him my faith in him. “I just want to get back to Emilia.”
“I know you do,” he smiled, trying to lighten the mood. “Our baby girl is safe.”
I leaned over and kissed his cheek before turning back to the window, inhaling the fresh air, and closing my eyes once again. I knew our daughter was safe, but it still didn’t stop me from being on the edge of an anxiety attack. I’d never forgive myself if something happened to her when I wasn’t there to protect her.
I heard Elio faintly calling my name, but it wasn’t until I blinked the sleep from my eyes that I heard what he was actually saying.
“Wake up, Cat. We’re back in the city.”
“How long was I asleep?”
“You passed out right after you kissed my cheek. I wanted to let you sleep. You needed it,” he said lovingly.
“I guess I did,” I agreed, feeling the need to get out of the car and stretch.
“Do you want to go to the warehouse with me?” Elio asked.
For the first time, I didn’t. I wanted to go straight home to Emilia.
“I don’t. I want to get home to Emilia if that’s okay,” I admitted.
Elio looked over at me for a split second before turning his attention back to the road. I couldn’t tell what his expression meant, what he was thinking.
“Of course that’s okay. I’ll drop you off first and then I’ll head over to the warehouse to meet with Franky,” he replied.
“Thank you.” I sighed with relief.
When we pulled up to our home, I quickly jumped out of the car, eager to see Emilia. Elio got out, pulling me into a tight hug.
“I love you, Cat.”
I kissed him gently. “I love you, Elio.”
He kissed me one more time before letting me go. “Tell our beautiful baby girl I love her and will see her very soon.”
I smiled at him. “Of course I will tell her.”
He closed the car door and took off fast. Without another thought, I turned quickly and ran inside to find Emilia.
