Strongest Scammer: Scamming The World, One Death At A Time-Chapter 819: Three Months Pass
Han Yu spent some time exploring the other features connected to the residence array. Since he had not yet had the chance to properly explore the Second Kidney Peak earlier, he decided to take advantage of the quiet night to familiarize himself with the surrounding facilities.
Leaving the courtyard once again, Han Yu walked through several of the nearby pathways leading deeper into the peak.
There were indeed many functional buildings scattered throughout the mountain. Large libraries, training halls, cultivation arenas, storage vaults, and specialized chambers existed throughout the various sections of the peak.
The library in particular caught his attention.
When he entered the building and browsed through the shelves, he quickly realized that the collection was far more extensive than he had expected.
Of course, there were numerous manuals related to ice elemental techniques and cultivation methods associated with the Kidney Peaks. But the library did not limit itself to those topics alone. 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮
Many of the books he had previously seen in other sect libraries were also present here in duplicate form. There were texts covering blood arts, curse techniques, formation theory, alchemy, and even puppet crafting.
Han Yu was slightly amused when he discovered that several of the manuals he had just taken from the Puppet Peak library were also available here. In hindsight, he had technically wasted time traveling there to retrieve them. But since he had also needed to collect his puppets and materials, the trip had not been completely unnecessary.
Still, the discovery made him realize something important.
From now on, most of his research could be conducted entirely within the Second Kidney Peak. The library access combined with the material procurement system meant he could obtain almost any knowledge or resource he needed without leaving the mountain.
And because of his status as a personal disciple of the Peak Head, no one would question what books he borrowed or what materials he studied. In fact, others won’t even be qualified to know about it.
That freedom alone significantly accelerated the pace of his research.
After finishing his tour of the nearby facilities, Han Yu returned to his residence. Before beginning cultivation again, he visited Meng Jueyan’s quarters to check on her condition. As usual, he conducted another round of "experiments" on her body.
In reality these sessions were more like medical treatments. Han Yu carefully studied the interaction between her slave seal and the various Blood Arts techniques he had been researching.
Each session allowed him to gather more data and gradually refine his understanding of how the seals functioned.
Once the treatment was finished, Han Yu returned to the Peak Head’s residence area and entered the ice cultivation chamber once again.
From that moment forward, he resumed his disciplined routine.
His days became structured around alternating cultivation sessions between the ice chamber and the blood cultivation chamber.
During one period he would focus on refining Abyssal Frost Qi through the Freezing Abyss Glacial Art. During another he would cultivate the Moon Conquering Divine Art, steadily converting the remaining Blood Qi in his core into Moon Blood Qi.
Between those sessions he occasionally took breaks to study Blood Arts manuals, continue puppet crafting experiments, or review updates sent by Qing Luan regarding the Violet Spirit Quartz mine.
From time to time he also visited the Second Kidney Peak Head to discuss aspects of his cultivation.
Although the old man had never practiced the Freezing Abyss Glacial Art himself, his centuries of experience in ice elemental cultivation allowed him to offer valuable insights that helped Han Yu refine his control over Abyssal Frost Qi.
Han Yu also noticed subtle changes in the Peak Head himself.
The old man’s aura was gradually shifting. It had begun to carry faint traces of an icy fragrance similar to the aura emitted by the Cold Silk Orchid. That could only mean the Peak Head was steadily progressing in his own cultivation breakthrough.
Han Yu did not ask about it directly. Matters related to cultivation breakthroughs were deeply personal among cultivators. It would have been inappropriate to pry into the details.
So he simply observed quietly.
Days passed in this manner.
Then weeks.
Occasionally, Han Yu would take short breaks from cultivation to work on puppet designs or continue studying Blood Arts and curse techniques. Qing Luan’s reports from the mine continued arriving regularly, though they rarely contained major developments.
The mining process remained slow and cautious, exactly as Han Yu had predicted.
However, through casual conversations with the Peak Head, he learned that the sect leadership had indeed grown impatient with the slow progress. Several additional teams had been dispatched to explore deeper areas of the mine in search of richer concentrations of Violet Spirit Quartz.
Han Yu paid close attention to that information.
If the sect was expanding the mining operation, there might be opportunities for him to insert himself into the process.
But for now, he remained patient.
First, he had to complete the task assigned by the Peak Head.
Refining his core.
That goal was drawing closer with each passing day.
Three months passed in this quiet but relentless cycle of cultivation.
During this time he had maintained a strict routine that left little room for distraction.
Each day was divided between practicing the Freezing Abyss Glacial Art in the ice cultivation chamber and refining his Moon Blood Qi through the Moon Conquering Divine Art in the blood cultivation chamber.
Outside of those sessions he only paused to eat, occasionally inspect his puppet experiments, and review the updates sent by Qing Luan regarding the progress of the Violet Spirit Quartz mine.
That relentless focus had finally borne fruit.
Han Yu stood quietly within the cultivation chamber, observing the state of his core through his inner vision. The transformation that had taken place within his dantian over the past months was remarkable.
Previously his core had been composed primarily of Blood Qi refined through the Slaughtering Moon Blood Baptism Art.
Even after upgrading to the Moon Conquering Divine Art, much of that energy had required extensive refinement before it could fully transform. Now that process had finally reached completion.
