"J-Jason... is that you?"
Gina didn’t know what made her ask that sort of question, but there was just something about the figure standing in front of her that made her doubt who this person was! Jason raised his head and stared at Gina with blood red eyes! There was a blank look on his face that showed no emotion at all, but that didn’t last long before Jason’s face split into a twisted smile! Gina’s eyes widened as she saw the large fangs peeking out from the side of Jason’s mouth, and at that moment, Gina knew without a doubt that this was not Jason! Gina backpedalled in fear, and Jason blurred forward with his hand pulled back!
"NO! Don’t kill our baby!"
Gina’s back pressed against the wall behind her, and she knew that there was no way she could avoid the incoming attack, so she simply closed her eyes and wrapped her arms around her stomach as she tried to protect the baby! Jason’s hand blurred forward like a knife to stab Gina through the stomach, but in the next moment, someone else appeared between the two of them!
SQUELCH!
"Urk!"
Stella grunted in pain as she used her body as a shield to protect Gina! Jason’s hand stabbed deep into Stella’s belly, and Stella grabbed Jason’s arm and looked up at him as blood began to pour from her mouth.
"Snap out of it... my prince. You’re stronger than this... please... fight it!"
There was a flash of black that passed across Jason’s eyes for a split second, but it didn’t last long before the red took control once again! Jason swung his arm to the side and threw Stella away like trash before he began to advance towards Gina!

But Jason stopped as he heard a voice echo in his head! That voice belonged to Gillian, and as the one who had changed Jason into a Vympir, Jason had no choice but to follow her every order! Jason crouched and immediately blasted through the roof of the cave and out of the castle in one leap! Once he was gone, Gina felt all the strength leave her legs, and she fell to the ground while releasing a shuddering breath in fear! Gina had never been more scared than she was at that moment! If Stella hadn’t stepped in, then Jason would have really killed her! He would’ve killed their child!
’Wait, Stella!’
Gina turned to the side, and she saw Stella lying on her back and bleeding out across the cave floor! Gina quickly scrambled to her feet and rushed towards Stella’s prone body, and she knelt beside her with a worried expression on her face!
"Stella, can you hear me? Just hold on!"
Stella’s eyes were wide open, and she was staring up at the hole in the ceiling where Jason had escaped from. Tears were falling from Stella’s eyes, and she could barely hear Gina’s voice over the haze clouding her mind. Gina called out to Stella again, and Stella raised a hand and put it on Gina’s stomach while speaking in a weak voice.
"Is the... child, okay?"
Gina quickly nodded as she told Stella that the child was fine!
"You saved both of us, Stella. Just don’t talk! Save your strength! I’m going to save you! I promise!"
Stella’s lips rose into a small smile of genuine satisfaction, and Gina watched as Stella closed her eyes and her head drooped to the side! Gina called Stella’s name multiple times, but there was no answer from Stella, and Gina grit her teeth in anger as she quickly turned and focused on the wound! Gina took in deep breaths, and she concentrated every ounce of mana she had on trying to reach the system! As a bishop, Gina had the ability called [Healing Aura] that allowed her to heal the injuries of any ally within a hundred-meter radius around her! But ever since Jason started to change, the system functions had been fluctuating, and Gina could barely feel any connection to the Necromancer System at all! So right now, Gina didn’t even know if she could still use her Legion abilities or not!
’Come on, please! Please work! I can’t let her die!’
Gina poured all the mana she could manage into this skill, and she could feel despair taking root in her heart as the skill just refused to activate! Down below the floating city of Atlantis, a Dimensional Circle opened, and multiple pale-skinned figures walked out from within the circle and looked up with red eyes. A man was leading the group, and he narrowed his eyes in concentration and scanned this world to make sure that everything had gone to plan. And once he was sure that there were no issues, a pair of wings erupted from behind him before he took off towards the floating city, and the other Vympirs followed behind him.
