Chapter 762: Fist Training Practice Setup

5th Zone, City-A

Time passed.

He was getting better at using fist moves. His hand snapped out well. He knew how to use his weight and how to recover while punching.

He saw that people were using punching bags or mirror practice in online videos.

He decided to have the same setup in the room. It would help him train against an imaginary enemy.

That evening, he booked a punching bag and some other things needed for the setup. He also found a wooden humanoid puppet online for sword practice.

He booked that as well. The delivery person brought the items quickly to the organisation. He then went downstairs to pick them up. The members who saw his behaviour were all surprised.

They didn’t know what he was up to. Jeremy ignored their gazes and went back to his room. Then, he began to arrange his setup.

One hour later,

He put the punching bag in the middle of the hall and started hitting it. The wooden humanoid puppet was arranged not far away from there.

Earlier, he had decided to put it inside the practice room, but he changed his mind at the last moment.

The hall was wide and spacious. He could move freely. Then, he continued the practice.

That night, he switched his practice to sword moves and started striking at the wooden puppet. He was using basic sword moves and was not using the starlight power.

Office Room

Head Harold looked at the desk. Various small, old books were placed on the table. The books were all fist technique books, but all of them were incomplete.

More than ten books had been collected for Jeremy Night, but not all of them were suitable for him to practise.

That’s why Harold fell into contemplation. He picked one of the books randomly and began to read it.

"Stone Fist," he uttered.

Then he placed the book on the table and picked another one. He saw that it was similar to Stone Fist; it was called Rock Fist.

He shook his head and continued to pick up one book after another. All of them were incomplete techniques, and their attributes were not suitable for Jeremy Night.

30 minutes later,

He went through all the books and couldn’t make a decision. All of them had elemental attributes. He knew Jeremy Night’s talent was a pure combat body.

He didn’t know whether the kid could master any of the attribute fist techniques, so he decided to let Jeremy Night choose tomorrow.

The Following Day

Jeremy Night got up and did his daily routine. When he saw his practice setup, he felt motivated to train. He completed his morning routine in an hour.

Then he entered the practice room and turned on the switch. Natural energy started coming from the inlet.

It started filling the room in the blink of an eye. When the whole room was covered in white mist, he sat cross-legged on the ground.

Then he closed his eyes and started running the breathing method. His body absorbed the natural energy.

He circulated the energy as per the route. The energy flowed freely around his body, and his cells greedily absorbed the natural energy.

Time passed. Jeremy continued to repeat the process.

2 hours later,

He ended the practice and walked out. Then he saw the punching bag and went towards it. He started practising fist moves without a second thought.

He became immersed in the practice over time. He didn’t know how long he had practised, but he felt pain in his hands.

Then he stopped punching the bag.

He looked at himself, drenched in sweat, and decided to take a bath first. He would continue the practice a few hours later, starting with sword practice. He spent 20 minutes in the bath.

He came out and changed into comfortable clothes.

Buzz!

The next second, he got a call from someone. The person was none other than Head Harold. Jeremy’s eyes gleamed with a twinkle.

He answered the call. The next second, he heard that Head Harold wanted to see him.

So, he ended the call and changed into his uniform quickly. Then he left the room and went to the office.

When he arrived, he already had permission to enter, so he walked directly into the room. He saw Head Harold seated behind the desk.

His gaze quickly fell on the old books on the table. His eyes glinted with understanding. Harold smiled and asked him to sit first. Jeremy sat down and looked at him with expectation.

Harold said, "These are the books on fist techniques, but they are incomplete. We could only get you the incomplete ones. The complete ones are in the possession of powerful Beast Taming Families and other big forces."

"They are treated as inheritance. Those forces won’t allow others to practise them. But it’s different for an incomplete technique; anyone can practise it."

"I heard you have been practising an incomplete blade move. If you can practise that, then you can easily get started with fist moves as well," he added.

Jeremy understood everything. For him, it was hard to get his hands on even an incomplete technique. He knew those techniques were hard to come by and even more difficult to practise.

"I’m grateful for the support," Jeremy replied.

Harold smiled after hearing that. He had been worried the kid wouldn’t like an incomplete technique, but he saw that Jeremy understood their value.

He had to make a few phone calls to collect this many incomplete fist techniques; he couldn’t simply get one and ask the kid to practise it.

"I’m happy that you understand. But don’t underestimate incomplete techniques. Like your blade move, you can practise some of them up to Tier-7, while others are at least Tier-6," Harold replied.

Hearing that, Jeremy said, "Okay."

He couldn’t wait to look at the books. Harold saw through his thoughts.

He chuckled and said, "You should pick one of them and select what suits you. You are already practising a blade move. Practising too many techniques won’t do you any good."

Jeremy was aware of that. He nodded to him before randomly picking up one book. He opened the cover and saw the title "Sand Hand."

He understood it was a ground-elemental type fist technique. He then began to look at the other books.
