STRIKER: Independent Beast Tamer-Chapter 760: Part 1: Practising basic fist moves
5th Zone, City-A
The following day,
Jeremy Night woke up early. He got out of bed and performed his morning routine. After finishing, he entered the practice room.
He shut the door and flipped the switch. Natural energy started filling the room. Then the natural energy in the room entered his body and spread throughout his body.
The cells in his body greedily absorbed the energy.
Buzz!
Not long after, the unknown beast egg showed a reaction. It started to absorb the natural energy from the room.
Time passed.
He walked out of the practice room two hours later. Then, he went to the bathroom to take a shower. The shower lasted for 20 minutes.
Later, he walked out and changed into comfortable clothes. He sat down on the sofa and picked up his device.
He began to watch the online news. He wanted to know the situation in the wilderness. But when he saw the online articles, he was taken aback.
He clicked on one of the live-streaming news reports and watched. He learned that the beast tide had stopped.
Not only that, but he saw that the students from Central University 5 had contributed the most. The third and final-year students had killed a large number of corrupted beasts.
The corrupted beasts were all Tier-4 and Tier-5.
Seeing that, Jeremy was surprised. He had thought they would have encountered Tier-6 corrupted beasts.
But they had only come across Tier-4 and Tier-5 beasts. People were praising their records, but to him, it was not that impressive.
Jeremy continued to watch the live stream. He was able to learn more about the Beast Tide. An elder from the Beast Association had taken action and eliminated the Tier-6 beast behind the tide.
He had thought about going to the wilderness today. Since the beast tide ended last night, he had missed the opportunity to fight.
However, he also had other plans for the day. He was going to follow his training schedule and practice basic fist combat for the first time.
The practice room had enough space, but he needed a target, a puppet in particular.
He heard that the training facility in the Beast Taming Association had advanced training programs as well.
But those things were currently out of his reach. He decided to practice basic fist moves for a few days, then he would do something about getting a puppet.
Once he received the fist technique from Head Harold, he would find a better practice place.
He stopped watching the news and went to the practice room to follow his training schedule.
He recalled the basic fist moves in his mind. Then, he picked up his device and searched for a free video tutorial.
Soon, he found one and started watching. He followed the stances and moves described by the instructor in the video.

The Office
Head Harold went through the daily reports. He didn't forget to call and ask for updates from Stephen.
Stephen had worked quickly. He found out about the three middle-aged men who had troubled Jeremy Night earlier.
Harold was happy; he had trust in Stephen. Harold then learned from him that the three middle-aged men were actually association members.
They had long been members of the Beast Association. It was safe to say they were the Beast Association's people.
Stephen and Harold were not naive. They connected the dots. They knew the Beast Association as an organization was not involved.
Instead, these people were working for someone else. Harold frowned. The three middle-aged men didn't have families, which made things more complicated.
Unless they captured and interrogated them personally, they wouldn't be able to find out who was behind them.
He told Stephen to try his best before ending the call. Harold then phoned Neil Moon and informed him as well.
Neil Moon was a co-founder and was equally responsible for Jeremy Night's safety. Both of them believed that the incident was inseparable from the Hill Family.
Jeremy Night had experienced conflict with them earlier. Since they had no evidence, they couldn't target the Hill Family directly.
They could only try to keep Jeremy Night safe from "hidden arrows."
Harold then recalled the reward. He told Neil Moon that Jeremy Night wanted to learn fist techniques.
"What?"
"The kid is finally coming to his senses. His talent is suitable for close combat techniques, yet the kid likes to practice the sword," Neil Moon said.
"Do you have one?" Harold asked.
"What?"
"A fist technique," Neil Moon replied. "It's hard to get a complete technique. Most of them are protected secrets of the Beast Taming Families. We won't be able to get one from them."
"Unless the kid learns under some Fist Master Beast Tamer," Neil Moon added.
"Then where did he get his sword skill from?" Harold asked.
"It's an incomplete blade skill. It only has one chapter. That girl, Gisela, obtained it. She gave the incomplete technique to the kid," Neil replied.
"You are right. It's hard to get a complete technique. Unless we find someone to exchange something of equal value and even that would be hard."
"I'll find an incomplete technique as well. It will support the kid up to Tier-6 at least," Harold said.
"You are right. An incomplete technique is better. If someone finds out that kid is practicing a complete technique, it will attract coveted eyes."
"The kid is already being targeted by hostile forces. We don't want him to attract more trouble," Neil Moon said.
But they didn't know that Jeremy Night had already started practicing basic fist moves.

Time passed.
Informers were waiting outside the organization. This included people from the Darkshade Organization.
Team Leader Jeffery had sent additional people to get the daily news. He wanted to know when the target would enter the wilderness again. 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺
He couldn't wait in the hideout forever. Others were completing missions and earning resources while he and his team members were doing nothing.
They could only hunt corrupted beasts from time to time. Some of them had participated in the Beast Tide earlier and earned some resources from it.
