Stellar Transformation-Chapter 105: Episode 5 - 8 No Escape
The ocean was boundless and vast, the islands above its surface territories of Demon Cultivators and Cultivators. Yet, the endless undersea world was ruled by the Undersea Demon Cultivators, whose power far surpassed both Cultivators and Demon Cultivators.
The world of Undersea Demon Cultivators had three major forces, akin to three great empires.
First was the Green Dragon Palace, whose Palace Master was naturally the Divine Beast Azure Dragon, hailed as the number one master in the Overseas Cultivation World. Even the super masters among Cultivators and Demon Cultivators could not compare to the Green Dragon Palace Master.
Second was the Nine Evil Hall, which had nine leaders, all variants of the Flood Dragon—the Purple Evil Flood Dragons. Although their individual strengths were not as great as that of the Green Dragon Palace Master, their advantage lay in their numbers, and each one was a super master.
Third was the Bishui Mansion, whose master was a Divine Beast, a mutated ’Three-eyed Green-eyed Toad’ whose third eye was extremely powerful and its attacks bizarrely effective. Although its strength was slightly lesser than that of the Green Dragon Palace Master, it was precisely because of that bizarre third eye that even the Green Dragon Palace Master could not be confident in securing a victory.
These three super forces, in the Undersea Demon Cultivator World, were like three super empires, each occupying nearly billions of square miles of ocean. The status of these three super forces was unshakeable, truly the absolute overlords.
Beneath these three super forces, there were also smaller powers.
The area controlled by the Nine Evil Hall spanned ninety million square miles, within which were eight forces. These eight great forces were entirely under the control of the Nine Evil Hall, and the Red Blood Cave Mansion was the foremost among them, controlling the northernmost eight million square miles of ocean within the territory of the Nine Evil Hall.
"The structure is very clear, just like the Hidden Dragon Continent. The Green Dragon Palace, Nine Evil Hall, and Bishui Mansion are just like the Three Great Dynasties. As for the Red Blood Cave Mansion, it’s akin to a county under the Nine Evil Hall, and I am currently within the ocean territory controlled by the Red Blood Cave Mansion," Qin Yu noted to himself, a clarity dawning upon him.
Previously, he knew nothing about the Undersea Demon Cultivator World, naturally causing fear and apprehension. A person is always most fearful of the unknown. Once everything became clear, Qin Yu, aware of the countless masters among the Demon Cultivators, felt much more relaxed.
This Undersea Demon Cultivator World was clearly larger than the Hidden Dragon Continent and had far more masters, not even on the same level. Just casually bringing out dozens of Undersea Demon Cultivators could easily sweep through the entire Hidden Dragon Continent.
The Mortal Continent and the Undersea Demon Cultivator World were simply on two different levels.
"Haha, the reason they could instantly see that I am a foreigner must be because of this," Qin Yu thought.
In his hand appeared two jade tokens.
These jade tokens, taken from two Demon Cultivators he had just killed, had the words ’Nine Evil’ on the upper half and ’Red Blood’ on the lower half, both emitting a special aura.
Previously, the ’Your Highness’ of the Nine Evil Hall had decreed: All Demon Cultivators in the territories of the Nine Evil Hall who reached the Golden Core Stage must receive an ’Identity Jade.’ Demon Cultivators of the same force within the Nine Evil Hall’s domain could not kill each other.
There were nine types of identity jades for Demon Cultivators within the Nine Evil Hall.
"Nine Evil, Red Blood," "Nine Evil, Giant Armor"...
With Red Blood Cave Mansion and similar forces, there naturally were eight types of Identity Jades like ’Nine Evil, Red Blood.’ The remaining ninth type was simply ’Nine Evil’. This was the mark of the Demon Cultivators directly under the Nine Evil Hall, not controlled by the eight great powers.
Demon Cultivators possessing the ’Nine Evil’ identity jade were inviolable by any other Demon Cultivator within the Nine Evil Hall’s domain. Killing them would lead the Nine Evil Hall’s Enforcement Team to act.
Demon Cultivators possessing the ’Nine Evil, Red Blood’ identity jade could only be inviolable to other Demon Cultivators bearing the same ’Nine Evil, Red Blood’ identity jade, while they could kill Demon Cultivators with other identity jades.
This command by the ’Nine Evil Hall’ was designed to let its eight subsidiary forces battle each other, weakening each other’s strength, while the Demon Cultivators he directly controlled remained untouchable, naturally leading to an increase in their numbers.
A slight smile appeared on Qin Yu’s face.
"From now on, I belong to the Nine Evil Hall and the Red Blood Cave Mansion," Qin Yu said as he integrated one jade token with his blood into his body, while casually tossing another into the space ring.
The Nine Evil Hall never worries about others stealing the identity jade tokens; in fact, they hope that some experts will take these tokens.
Once you possess this identity jade, you can sense the information of others’ identity jades. If it’s the same type of identity jade, then they are considered one of your own. If not, they are fair game for mutual slaughter.
Of course, you can also kill your own people, only if you are confident that the law enforcement team won’t find out and you can withstand them.
Originally, it was because they lacked identity jades that Qin Yu and Little Black were immediately discovered by the demon cultivators when they sneaked into the deep sea.
"However, even with the jade token, I do not have the aura of a demon cultivator," Qin Yu slightly frowned. The aura of demon cultivators, commonly known as ’demon qi’, is usually easy to distinguish among them, and this was also why others instantly identified Qin Yu as a cultivator.
Qin Yu felt things were getting complicated.
Although having an identity jade might make others sense the jade’s aura and overlook Qin Yu’s identity, should anyone observe Qin Yu’s aura closely and find no demon qi, it could prove dangerous.
"Demon qi," Qin Yu murmured with knitted brows.
In his mind, he continually thought that demon cultivators rely on identity jades to recognize each other, and on demon qi for identification as well. After all, demon cultivators typically take human form and don’t look much different from other cultivators or demon cultivators.
"That’s it, Beiming!"
A small smile appeared on Qin Yu’s lips.
Beiming, a demon secret skill, is several levels more difficult than ’Soul Search’. The Demon Path ’Beiming’ employs a combination of soul power and native true essence power to perform a demon secret skill. Beiming has two functions, one is to conceal aura, and the other is to accelerate cultivation.
To conceal aura, just a bit of soul power is needed to be activated, completely engulfing the body’s aura.
To accelerate cultivation, more soul power is required, not only absorbing all the aura of the body but also the nature’s spiritual energy from the surroundings. At this moment, to an outsider, the person performing ’Beiming’ appears like a black hole, devouring all the spiritual energy around them.
When using spiritual sense to probe a person, you either look at the opponent’s spiritual sense or the aura they emit.
"Once Beiming is used, my aura won’t leak out. Others will absolutely not be able to sense my aura, not even the aura of star power. They might think I am cultivating some special demon cultivation method," Qin Yu thought.
This is a compromise.
Qin Yu is not a demon cultivator; the natural demon qi of a demon cultivator cannot be produced by him. He can only absorb all aura. If others discover they can’t detect any of Qin Yu’s aura at all, they typically assume Qin Yu is a mysterious master.
Qin Yu, engrossed in contemplating the cultivation of the demon path ’Beiming’, was completely unaware of a small azure fish nearby.
Qin Yu scanned the surroundings with his spiritual sense, generally disregarding ordinary fish and shrimp and only caring about those that reached the Golden Core Stage. This little azure fish was an innate realm fish, commonly seen in the deep sea.

Inside the Sang Clan Palace.
Sang Mo sat alone in the grand hall, sipping his drink in silence, having spent several days without finding Qin Yu, Sang Mo now sought help from thirty experts of the Green-eyed Fish Clan, famously known as having ’eyes throughout the sea.’ 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖
"Elder Sang Mo, the murderer has been found," a man with green fish scales on his face hurried into the great hall and then bowed with a smile to Sang Mo.
Sang Mo’s hand paused on his wine cup.
"You say... the murderer has been found?" Sang Mo’s eyes brightened, and a murderous intent burst forth.
The man from the Green-eyed Fish Clan proudly said, "It’s just a hundred thousand miles area. Thirty of my clan members searched together, each controlling over a thousand fish. There are countless fish under the sea; who would notice an ordinary fish?"
"Haha, quick, tell me, where is he?" Sang Mo’s entire mood lifted with excitement.
The man from the Green-eyed Fish Clan handed Sang Mo a jade scroll, as it was difficult to explain clearly with words. Using spiritual sense to draw a clear picture was simple. With a sweep of his spiritual sense, Sang Mo instantly knew Qin Yu’s location.
"Good, once we capture the murderer, I will definitely reward you handsomely," Sang Mo said, his excitement reaching its peak.
The man from the Green-eyed Fish Clan smiled and said, "Elder Sang Mo, I will accompany you. Even if the murderer moves, I can keep his location clear for you."
"Very well, then come with me."
Having said that, Sang Mo transformed into a beam of red light and shot out of the palace, speeding towards Qin Yu’s location, with the man from the Green-eyed Fish Clan beside him. During their flight, Sang Mo also began to summon his clansmen to encircle that area.
"This time, he must not be allowed to escape no matter what!" Sang Mo’s eyes gleamed with ferocity, as murderous intent swirled continuously around him.
...
Qin Yu sneaked into a rock in the mountains and began attempting to cultivate the demon secret skill ’Beiming’.
Soul Search was merely using the power of the soul, quite simple. But ’Beiming’ was about merging the soul power with one’s own True Essence Power. Qin Yu possessed Star Power, which meant it needed to be fused with Star Power.
Drawing a strand of Star Power from his Dantian, reaching up to his mind, it touched a strand of soul power simultaneously.
"Fusion? How do I fuse them?"
Qin Yu found that the Star Power and the soul power were on two different levels of energy, fundamentally unable to fuse because the soul power could even pass through Star Power. The soul power seemed ethereal, whereas Star Power was tangible.
"No wonder the secret book says that cultivating ’Beiming’ is extremely difficult. Its creator only devised it after surviving a Tribulation," Qin Yu frowned slightly.
The soul power and Star Power were on two entirely different levels, and who knew how the creator managed to fuse them.
...
"Elder Sang Mo, my children have sent a message; the murderer is inside the rocks 300 miles southwest, apparently cultivating," the man from the Green-eyed Fish Clan said with a confident smile.
Sang Mo’s eyes lit up, and more than twenty of his clan members were behind him, with other Sang Clan members surrounding from various other directions.
"Three hundred miles, very good."
Sang Mo felt his blood boil, remembering the sight of his son’s head being pierced and the Golden Core being snatched, he couldn’t control his rage.
"Let’s go!"
Sang Mo’s red robe fluttered, and his speed reached a new level, chasing directly towards where Qin Yu currently was. The man from the Green-eyed Fish Clan and more than twenty other clan members also followed Sang Mo towards Qin Yu.
Three hundred miles was indeed very short for Demon Cultivators.
Before long, Sang Mo was only tens of miles away from Qin Yu.
Inside the rock, Qin Yu, who had been on high alert, suddenly changed his expression and immediately opened his eyes. His spiritual sense clearly detected Sang Mo arriving swiftly from the northeast with several masters, luckily Qin Yu’s spiritual sense had strengthened somewhat and its range had increased.
Seeing Sang Mo coming straight towards him and the expression on his face, Qin Yu was 90% certain that Sang Mo knew his location.
There was no time to ponder why the other party knew his whereabouts, Qin Yu quickly left the stone, stepping onto a flying sword, and initiating ’Human and Artifact Fusion’ to head south. Sang Mo, who did not use his true form to chase at full speed, of course, was not as fast as Qin Yu.
...
"Not good, the murderer seems to have discovered us and has already headed south," the man from the Green-eyed Fish Clan suddenly became very anxious.
Sang Mo’s expression changed.
The man from the Green-eyed Fish Clan added, "The murderer is extremely fast, my children can’t keep up at all. Perhaps the fish controlled by my other clan members might spot the murderer, but those clan members are still in the Sang Clan Palace."
Sang Mo hadn’t expected to be discovered by Qin Yu so soon, and had only brought the man from the Green-eyed Fish Clan with him.
"No matter, I have arranged people in the other directions."
A fierce look appeared on Sang Mo’s face as his red robe fluttered. His entire being transformed into a colossal red octopus, his eight tentacles vibrated, turning into a beam of light chasing south, even faster than Qin Yu’s Human and Artifact Fusion.
...
As Qin Yu was flying at high speed towards the south, he suddenly stopped.
"Someone’s here!"
His spiritual sense clearly detected several beings from the Octopus Clan within tens of miles, although only a dozen were identified, who knew if there were more. Combining this with Sang Mo’s direct pursuit earlier, Qin Yu made a judgment.
"Sang Mo knows my location and has even formed an encirclement."
As Qin Yu paused, his spiritual sense detected a giant red octopus chasing from tens of miles behind.
"It’s Sang Mo," Qin Yu’s expression immediately changed.
