"Shut up! I won’t allow you to insult him like that!" Ye Zi shouted in fury, her anger almost consuming her. She raised her hand and slapped the man, pushed him aside, and rushed to Lin Deng’s side, using all her strength to help Lin Deng up from the ground. She kept calling Lin Deng’s name, and when he didn’t respond, she started to cry in desperation. She tried to get Lin Deng to lean on her while reaching for the overturned wheelchair. Ye Zi let out a single scream when the man grabbed her, and without any time to react, she was slapped down again. In that instant, everything went dark, and she couldn’t find the strength to stand. When she came back to her senses, blood was slowly seeping from the corner of her lips.
"Lin Deng, wake up!" Ye Zi struggled to open her eyes and saw Lin Deng on the floor again. When she noticed Lin Deng seemed to respond to her call and slowly opened his eyes, she was so excited, she summoned all her energy to struggle, trying to free herself from the man’s grip.

The staff member saw what was happening and was about to step in, but the man gripping Ye Zi furiously grabbed a trash can and hurled it outside, striking the staff member and knocking them to the ground, scaring everyone outside into fleeing.
Ye Zi could only hear people outside calling for the nightclub’s management and security, but those voices were gradually fading away.
