Star Wars: Daimon's Story-Chapter 53: Ancient Celestials
Chapter 53 - Ancient Celestials
The Father struck first, his blade glowing with pure Force energy. Daimon caught it with his Lightsaber causing the force of the impact to send tremors across the realm.
Before he could counter, the Son came in from the side like a shadow. His strikes were wild, feral, and chaotic, filled with a strong sense of emotion and power. Daimon ducked beneath one, parried another, but was forced to leap back as the Daughter came from above.
Three of the most powerful beings in existence pressed him at the same time, not wanting to give him a chance at all.
Daimon slid across the floating stones and centered himself before he charged again. He met the Father's next strike head-on and turned the momentum against him, twisting the Force around his blade to push him back.
"I see now," the Father murmured, "He's not resisting our power... he's adapting."
The Son snarled as energy erupted around his body. "Then let him adapt to this." He leapt at Daimon striking from every direction at once. Daimon flowed around the Son's attacks, never meeting them directly, instead, he let him tire himself out.
When the Daughter joined again, she weaved in and out of the combat forcing Daimon to always keep an eye on her. Her strikes were as strong as the Sons as she tried to force Daimon into submission with the light side.
He took a hit from the Daughter's blade to deflect one from the Son, twisting in the air to blast the Father back with a concussive wave of Force. Kael and Raelos, watching from afar, could barely comprehend what they were seeing.
He began using the terrain itself, shifting the energy of Mortis, bending the realm to his will, not to dominate it, but to use it in combination with his attacks. The ground rose to shield him, blocking the attacks from all three opponents.
The Father was surprised as this was the first time that another besides themselves was allowed to use the realm of Mortis so easily.
After a few minutes of constant back and forth fighting, he managed to defeat the Daughter first. He matched her every move, countering every blow with one of his own. When she paused, that's when Daimon used his chance to defeat her first.
Then came the Son. Daimon didn't beat him with his own overpowering rage, instead, he used his own energy against him. He absorbed the Son's chaos energy, letting it flow through him and then returned it with his attacks. The Son flew back, crashing through a hill of Force energy, and lay still. His grin was gone and was replaced with awe as he lost.
Finally, the Father was the last obstacle that remained. The two went blow for blow, each strike getting more powerful than the last. This was the first time that Daimon had to used so much power to be one opponent. The fight was going on and on until finally, Daimon caught the Father's blade with his bare hand.
"You have so much Force power," the Father said quietly. "It's as if instead of using the Force, you're an embodiment of part of the Force." Daimon let go and the Father stepped back.
The Daughter was the first to bow her head acknowledging Daimon's victory. "You have passed."
The Son followed, reluctantly having to admit that he lost to some outsider. "Next time, I won't underestimate you." Daimon was surprised as he half expected some smart remark about how he only one because of luck or something.
The Father looked at Daimon wondering just what made him different than the others. "The Force Priestesses were right to teach you the aspects of the Force. I can't see what the future holds for you, but I know that whatever happens, your presence will have a lasting effect on the galaxy.

Daimon bowed his own head in acknowledgement of the good fight that he had. "Thank you for the kind words.
"And now," the Father said, "You are the first person to be welcomed into the Realm of Mortis. I would normally say mortal, but considering your power, its more correct to consider you to be on a much higher plane of existence than a mortal."
The Son and the Daughter nodded, agreeing with that statement. "Though if we were actually Celestials than you would have had a much more difficult fight."
Daimon raised his brow, "So you three are not Celestials?" he asked.
The Father shook his head, "In a way we are, but our power is far from what the true Celestials were capable of. We are the direct manifestations of the Celestials after their defeat during the Rakatan rebellion."
"That explains a lot of things," Daimon responded. The Celestials were no longer present in the galaxy, leaving the three people in front of him with their power. But he also wondered what was the case with the Force Priestesses. Were they manifestations of the Celestials or something else.
"Now, let's move on. You are the first person to ever be allowed in this realm since we came here, so we will give you the knowledge of what the Celestials had." The Daughter took out an ancient Holocron and handed it to Daimon.
Daimon took the Holocron and opened it. Immediately tons of knowledge was transferred into his mind. The first was about Center Point station and how it was constructed, followed by Dimensional Gateways.
Center Point station is an ancient space station that is capable of moving entire planets with its tractor beams. It was not something that Daimon would want to invest in building as moving a planet between systems would cause a ton of complications.
The Dimensional Gateways were portals that allow travel across galactic distances instantly. Building these would connect two different places that were across the galaxy via the Gateways, making it easier for expansion into a number of reasons. It would also speed up the defensive capabilities of the Imperium systems as reinforcements could arrive almost instantly during times of war.
Followed by these were tons of other knowledge about various technologies used by the Celestials including the complex mechanics of Infinity Gates and trans-galactic teleportation devices.
It would take several hours of absorbing and analyzing the vast knowledge for him to get everything that was on the Holocron. So, he let the rest be for a later time.
"The knowledge is vast, so it will take time for you to analyze all of it." said the Father. Daimon nodded and handed the Holocron to Raelos.
The Son, seeing Daimon hand the Holocron to Raelos, stepped up. "Now, let's fight again. This time I want to see how you fight one on one."
Seeing the eagerness on his face, Daimon sighed and readied his weapon. He spent the next few hours fighting with the Son, defeating him dozens of times. The score was 64-0 making the Son a little agitated after he kept losing. That's when Daimon switched to fight the Daughter and the Son fought against Raelos and Kael.
The fight with the Daughter went the same as it did for the Son, the score was 57-0. For the fight between the Progenitors and the Son, it turned into a much longer fight that dragged on far longer than the fight with Daimon. But in the end the Progenitors lost as the Son was much more powerful than them.
The Father saw their potential and how much power they had which was far more than what he saw the Jedi currently have, so he asked Daimon about their origin.
When Daimon explained to him that they were created and manifested through the Force, the Father was surprised at just how advanced his knowledge of the Force was. But remembering that he learned from the Force Priestesses, it wasn't too surprising.
Daimon spent several weeks in the Realm of Mortis, getting closer to the three entities over time. He learned a lot about their individual personalities, which were more normal than he expected.
The Son was brazen, competitive, and more complex than he tried to show. He was quick to challenge Daimon to another duel, each loss deepening his resolve rather than dampening his spirit.
The Daughter, on the other hand, was as enigmatic as she was insightful. She offered wisdom and guidance in her duals. Her combat style was swifter and more elegant compared to her brother's brute force.
After weeks, it was time for them to leave. The Father, Daughter, and the Son wished Daimon well and told him to come visit from time to time.
Returning to his fleet, Daimon shared what he learned with Cortana and reported it back to other Progenitors back on Veldari. They would begin to start building some of these technologies like the Dimensional Gate to connect this expansion region to Veldari.
This way, they can start expanding and uplifting of the planets that the fleet encountered and surveying the systems for precious resources.
