After the upgrade, Adonis headed to his classroom.
As soon as he entered, all eyes turned to him.
Fortunately, Isabella hadn’t arrived yet. But the rest of the students were all present, except for some unruly bunch.
Some of them were curious, some were confused, some were mocking.
"Hey bastard Kingsbane, I heard you eyed Princess Mariana lustfully and she punished you with whips? Why don’t you show that red ass so we all can witness it?"
It came from a noble youth with blue hair, wearing a ridiculing expression.
"Hahaha..." Other noble youths also started laughing. Some barely lifted their eyes because of disdain.
Adonis’s face darkened.
He looked at the boy with eyes cold and bottomless.
He went close and slammed his hands onto the table. "Bang!"
Then he spoke coldly,
"I dare you to say... that... again."
"Oi overacting hero," another boy with crimson hair interrupted, confidently crossing his legs.
"My boy Marcus said nothing wrong. You’re a bastard child from a whore. We have all learned everything about you while you were away."
Prince Malvis just watched this with quiet amusement, while Rai Calder from the commoner faction leaned on his chair lazily to watch the show.
In an instant, Adonis jumped onto the young man, Marcus.
His hand, with the power of 54 points of strength and 53 points of agility, moved like a blur of chaotic violet shadow.
The crimson-haired youth, Alfred, smirked and threw a vertical kick from the seat behind Marcus to stop him.
Alfred was very confident with his level 9 power.
But—
"Crack!"
In mid-motion, a bone-breaking cracking sound echoed.
"Ahhhh!"
When the movements became clear, they noticed Alfred’s legs bending backward, hanging like roots.
The painful howl had echoed from his mouth, not Adonis’s.
The whole classroom gasped. "WHAT!"
"Ahh, ahh, ahh! Pain! Someone help!" Alfred cried like a baby, trying to hold his dangling legs.
Below him, Marcus started trembling.
Alfred was stronger than him. And all of them were Nova-class students, so why was Adonis so strong?
He tried to flee, but only to be grasped by the neck by Adonis.
And then, without warning, Adonis began to punch Marcus in the stomach.
Bang. Bang. Bang.
Marcus felt as if his stomach had been hollowed out as each fist made his internal organs feel dislocated.
"Blurgh!"
His eyes were about to burst out with blood.
"Help! Someone, save me!"
And yet, Prince Malvis or anyone else didn’t move.
For a moment, all of them stood frozen, unable to process how things had escalated so fast.
Marcus and Alfred weren’t ordinary either. They were sons of a Marquis and a Duke.
So they expected Adonis to control himself, to endure their taunts.
And yet, against all expectations, he beat them mercilessly without fearing the other party’s background and political pressure.
That itself was baffling to understand.
Adonis wasn’t usually such a rash person.
But he had had enough.
Once again, they called his mother a whore.
And that was a taboo in his dictionary.
So, he attacked.
To remind them that this Adonis Kingsbane wasn’t weak. Wasn’t easy to bully.
It was at that very moment that the classroom doors burst open.
A chilling presence spread through the room.
Isabella Frostbite had entered.
Her sharp blue eyes immediately captured the scene before her. Two noble sons broken on the ground. One student standing above them like a storm given form.
For a split second, even she was surprised.
Then she barked angrily,
"Adonis! Stop!"
The temperature in the room dropped instantly.
Without waiting for compliance, she raised her hand.
"Ice Binding Art."
Frost spread across the floor like a living thing.
In less than a heartbeat, it climbed up Adonis’s legs and froze his feet solid to the ground.
Finally, a moment of peace..
"That should be enough," Isabella said firmly, stepping forward.
But then something changed.
Adonis lowered his head as his body started trembling.
Not in fear. But In fury.
A barely noticeable violet aura began to leak from his body.
Isabella’s eyes narrowed in confusion. "What is that energy..."
The next moment, the ice cracked, then shattered.
"Buzz!"
Immediately, a burst of chaotic violet energy exploded outward, scattering frozen shards across the classroom.
Gasps echoed everywhere.
"Oh Lord! He broke it?"
"But that was Teacher Isabella’s art!"
Adonis slowly raised his head. His eyes appeared a terrifying calm, yet beneath it burned something feral.
"It’s not enough," he muttered.
Before anyone could react, he moved again.
"Whoosh!"
Marcus had barely managed to crawl a few inches when Adonis’s foot slammed into his side.
Crack!
"Ahhh!"
Marcus rolled across the floor like a rag doll.
Another kick followed. "Bang!"
Then another.
Each impact echoed through the room like a hammer striking flesh.
Nearby, Alfred tried to drag himself away with his arms and broken legs trailing uselessly behind him.
"P-please stop! I didn’t mean it!"
Adonis looked toward Alfred. But there was no mercy.
Bang!
His kick landed squarely on Alfred’s back, forcing a scream out of his throat.
"Ahhhh! Help me! Someone help!"
"Shut up," Adonis said coldly.
Die!
Die!
The two noble sons howled with every strike, their earlier arrogance completely shattered.
Some students turned their faces away.
Others watched in stunned silence.
No one dared to intervene.
Even Prince Malvis remained seated, though his eyes had narrowed slightly. Yet, he didn’t interfere fearing a humiliating reply from Adonis.
Rai Calder leaned forward with interest.
"Now this is much more entertaining," he murmured.
Isabella’s face turnee black.
"Enough!"
This time, her voice carried real authority.
She raised both hands.
"Ice Art: Absolute Restraint."
The air froze. Literal this time.
A dense formation of ice manifested around Adonis from all directions, locking his arms, torso, and legs in place.
Unlike before, this was not something brute force could easily break.
Adonis struggled for a moment.
The chaotic energy erupted again.
Cracks formed.
But this time, the ice held strong.
His movements slowed.
Then gradually stopped.
The suffocating aura slowly vanished from the roo..
Isabella stepped forward, her heels clicking against the frozen floor.
She looked at Adonis angrily.
"What exactly do you think you are doing?"
Adonis said nothing.
His breathing was still heavy, but his eyes had regained some clarity.
Behind them, several staff members rushed in, alerted by the commotion.
"Take them to the emergency healers. Now," Isabella ordered.
Marcus and Alfred were quickly lifted and carried away, both barely conscious, still groaning in pain.
As they were taken out, Marcus weakly muttered, "You’re dead... Adonis... my family will kill you."
Adonis didn’t respond.
Once they were gone, through her glasses, Isabella looked back to Adonis.
The ice slowly released Adonis, though a thin layer remained around his feet as a precaution.
"Come to my office after this," she said coldly.
Then she glanced at the class.
"Today’s lesson is over."
No one had any objection
The students began to quietly gather their belongings, but the atmosphere had completely changed.
Fear. Shock. Excitement.
All mixed together.
As Adonis walked out without another word, dozens of eyes followed him.
One thought echoed in every mind.
He was not normal.
He was dangerous.
Mad. Unstable. Chaotic.
At the back of the room, Rai Calder still leaned back in his chair
"Adonis Kingsbane, this is going to be very interesting."
