SSS Awakening: Rebirth of the Strongest Vampire God-Chapter 191: The last two blood spheres?

Damon flashed his eyes open, and for a moment, everything was a haze. All he could hear were these idiots fawning over another idiot. But then... all of a sudden... it all came crashing back to him.

La Rocha or whoever the fuck that was! What the hell happened? Damon looked around hurriedly and at the same time commanded the mana in his body to gather in his hand, prepared for anything.

However, all around him there was only snow and more snow and the endless frozen lands. There was no metallic fortress. There was no mana field. There was nothing.

Snapping him out of his thoughts, someone groaned near him, and he turned to see Mark, Kate, Aurora, and Sylvara gently stirring awake. All of them were in some sort of bloody mess, a blood barrier of some kind.

As he stared at them, the final memory of him reaching out to encase all of them in a protective bubble came to his mind. That was right. One second, he was absorbing all the mana he could take, and the next second, some sort of unimaginable power coursed through him.

It was his and yet it was not his. He absolutely had no control over it. He couldn’t do anything with it. All he could muster with the last bit of will was to create protective barriers for himself and his friends.

Damon quickly sensed his body, and there it was the mana core. His eyes then darted to the blood spheres, and everyone seemed fine. The metallic fortress was gone, and La Rocha probably with it.

Damon did not care anymore. It was fine. He had already given his all to the place, trying to get at whatever treasure that might be inside that fortress. It was fine that he lost. You win some, you lose some. That was life. At least they were finally out of the whole mess.

He was just about to let out a small sigh of relief that the whole thing was over when his gaze darted to the last two blood spheres. Wait a second. Mark, Kate, Aurora, and Sylvara were here. Then, who was in those last two spheres?

La Rocha?

Behind him, the people gathered were asking all sorts of things. Robert and Mendoza were barking something loudly. Damon ignored them. His entire focus was on the bloody mess in front of him.

His pulse quickened, and he immediately prepared for what was coming next. The blood spheres were also already broken, and there was nothing he could do about it now. Whoever was inside was coming out any second now.

Without hesitation, Damon immediately summoned a crimson fire lance. This one flared bright, a lot stronger and powerful than anything he had conjured before. His mana core was off the charts. He could feel the power pulsing inside his body. His power had exponentially increased.

But Damon knew none of that was enough to deal with La Rocha. That man was a true monster. This might once again become a total mess, and they were all probably going to get wiped out, but he did not care. If he was going down, he was not going to go down without a fight!

The bloody mess moved, and Damon almost threw the fire lance at it when he abruptly stopped in his tracks. Instead of the lunatic he had faced in the metallic fortress, there was someone else. freēnovelkiss.com

Damon froze. Out of the bloody mess, a slender woman slowly stood up, her long green hair messily falling over her completely naked body.

Damon gulped. His eyes went wide as he saw the pale woman pop out of nowhere. She was absurdly beautiful and her seductive body was perfect with all her enticing curves just the right size. Even with her long green hair almost covering all of her private areas, one could still see how breathtaking her figure was.

Suddenly, her emerald eyes flashed open. She was looking right at him. She took a few steps towards him and then cocked her head slowly to the side. She silently stood staring at him.

The next moment, unexpectedly, a system notification appeared in front of him.

[Ding! World Spirit Azuna wants to initiate a binding contract with you.]

[Ding! Do you wish to accept the soul-binding contract with World Spirit Azuna? Y/N]

Damon stood frozen, fire lance still pulsing in his hand, his thoughts completely scrambled. What the hell was a World Spirit? What was it doing inside his blood barrier? And more importantly, why him?

But those were things that he could think about later. Whatever it was, this couldn’t be a bad deal. World spirits sounded powerful? He was just about to talk to Blood Reign when a weak voice sounded in his mind. "Accept it, my liege."

Damon nodded. He was going to do that anyways. He wanted to ask more about her to Blood Reign but it looked like the weapon spirit was extremely exhausted. His best guess was that this woman or this world spirit was probably someone from the metallic fortress.

Perhaps when he broke out of there, he must have saved her too.

Then what about the other blood sphere? Was La Rocha in there?

His gaze quickly shifted to the last one even as he accepted ’yes’. If La Rocha was in fact in there, then binding with this world spirit might become a key factor in the fight that was imminent. Looking past her beautiful appearance, he could tell that the world spirit was extremely powerful.

Damon immediately turned his attention to the last bloody mess and once again conjured another fire crimson lance, but to his surprise, there was nothing inside it. He looked closer and kicked around the blood fragments and there was still nothing inside it.

Well, there was actually a small something golden. Damon walked towards it and picked it up. A golden crystal. A very simple and plain looking golden colored gem. It was nothing special.

Except, a system notification popped up the moment he touched it.
