Spoiled by the CEO after amnesia!-Chapter 556 - 554 Somewhat Like a Fox Spirit
The shrill, piercing sound of the horn rose in the underground garage, urging that damned man to appear!
But still, nobody showed up for ages.
He tempted and threatened her to come; where was he?
Alright, this was his own failure to show up.
She couldn’t be blamed.
Liang Anya couldn’t wait any longer; she pressed the accelerator, ready to start the engine and leave, when a dark shadow slipped past the car window.
With a "screech," the car door was yanked open!
Before Liang Anya could react, the shadow had darted into the car with lightning speed and sat down in the passenger seat.
Si Yuheng was dressed in all-black running attire, showcasing his well-toned, lean physique, his dark brown hair covered by an attached hood. Wearing a pair of black sunglasses on his Eurasian face, in the dimly lit interior of the car, he nearly blended into the darkness. Looking in from outside the car through the window, it was almost impossible to see someone sitting in the passenger seat.
"You—," Liang Anya exclaimed in surprise.
"Drive," Si Yuheng’s voice filled the cabin, decisively cutting off the girl’s cry of alarm.
"Why did you call me to the garage? Where do you want me to go now?—"
"You’ve been followed, dumbass! This isn’t the place to talk; don’t let the people tailing you see me." Si Yuheng had called her here, initially to inquire about the planted listening devices, and to further question whether she had found anything in Mr. Huo’s study. Now, it seemed there was no need to ask.
She had been discovered! And she had even been followed here!
Mr. Huo didn’t believe that Liang Anya would plant listening devices; likely, he wanted to trace the problem back to its source, to find the person behind the scenes!
Liang Anya’s face was a picture of shock. She had been followed?
Looking out through the car window, she noticed for the first time a corner of a black car exposed around the bend leading into the garage.
Was—
Was it Mr. Huo’s people tailing her?
So, did Mr. Huo already suspect there was a problem with her entering the study?
Still in a state of bewilderment, Liang Anya heard Si Yuheng’s voice growing even more stern, "There’s an exit to the left front, get out there, lose the car behind, and don’t make me repeat myself."
Snapping back to reality, Liang Anya could only turn the steering wheel and drive towards the left front exit.
Exiting the garage, Liang Anya floored the gas pedal, the speedometer climbed, and she began to speed along the urban roads.
"Enough, watch the road, I don’t want to die young. Don’t crash into the guardrail! Is losing one car really that hard?"
Si Yuheng urged her strictly from the side.
To the rhythm of the engine, Liang Anya glanced angrily at him while driving. This damned man wanted her to shake off the car sent by Mr. Huo while at the same time complaining she was driving too fast. On top of that, he was backseat driving, enough was enough!
Did he think losing a tail was that easy?!
She was no gangster with tattooed arms like him who had received training. She was a well-bred, respectable housewife, thank you very much!
Drowning in her grievances, Liang Anya drove like a headless fly through several main streets of the city, clueless as to where they might end up.
Si Yuheng glanced at the rearview mirror, "Crap! You’re really giving it your all, huh!"
Liang Anya was startled, "They’re still behind us?"
Not only did Si Yuheng want to shake off the car following behind, Liang Anya did too!
What if Mr. Huo saw her with Si Yuheng and found out she had attempted to plant a bug on him, would it implicate Xiaoyi? Or would they prevent her from getting close to Xiaoyi again?
Damn it!
Speaking of which, it was all because of this inexplicable man who had fallen from the sky!
Si Yuheng said indifferently, "The people around Mr. Huo are all top-notch bodyguards, it’s normal that they can’t be shaken off." After a pause, he glanced at her, "Pull over."
"What?" Liang Anya was stunned for a moment!
"Stop at the side, I’ll drive. With your skills, you won’t be able to lose them," Si Yuheng said sarcastically, yet with absolute certainty.
Liang Anya gritted her teeth, could only hit the brakes, and quickly came to a stop. Just as she unbuckled her seatbelt to get out and move to the passenger seat, Si Yuheng pushed her down, "Do you really want those behind us to know there’s someone in your car?"
"Then what should I do?"
Si Yuheng gave Liang Anya a look as if staring at an idiot, swept his hand, pulled her towards the passenger side, then with a carp flipping over, a swift roll, he pinned her beneath him.
"What are you doing—" Liang Anya was still trying to move to the passenger seat when he pressed down on her, posing as if they were about to have a car quiver!
Si Yuheng frowned, he had just wanted to move over to the driver’s seat while remaining suspended in the air, what could he possibly do to her at a time like this!
This Chinese girl, what was she pretending for?
She didn’t look like someone who hadn’t been with a man before!
Worried about being seen by the trailing vehicles, Si Yuheng didn’t think too much, his face leaned forward, and his thin lips firmly sealed hers to prevent any sounds she might make from attracting the attention of their followers.
Liang Anya felt warmth on her lips, as if something was enveloping them, and she widened her eyes in disbelief.
In just a couple of seconds, Si Yuheng balanced on the cushion, swung over to the driver’s side all while still in mid-air.
His movements were smooth, clearly those of a trained professional.
Si Yuheng took hold of the steering wheel, released the handbrake, started the engine, and turned the car around, heading straight onto the main road ahead.
The man drove like a tiger bursting out of its gate, as if he had participated in road races before, turning Liang Anya’s femininely delicate mini BMW into a racing car. In no time at all, they had left the chasing car far behind!
Only after stabilizing the car did Si Yuheng lift his naturally devilish-looking eyes to glance at the girl in the mirror.
Liang Anya’s chest heaved, her face flushed, looking like a dew-covered rose that hadn’t calmed down yet.
Her looks and features belonged to a type of exotic beauty, reminiscent of what the people in China consider fox spirits, with big eyes, thick long lashes, a high nose, full lips, and honey-colored skin from spending time on the South European Coast of Italy, delicate enough to break with a blow, healthy and tempting. She seemed like a real-life SD doll, her black curly hair curled around her neck, adding a touch of enchantment.
Having grown up in a privileged family environment with only one girl, doted on by her father and brothers, her eyes held a fearless determination and stubbornness.
Perhaps from living abroad, her attire was not conservative, a slender camisole paired with denim shorts that barely covered the buttocks, not minding at all to show off her young and beautiful figure.
Si Yuheng had seen too many such heiresses from business families, and quite a few had thrown themselves at him, even taking advantage of many.
All of them looked pleasing to the eye, like decorative vases, actually capricious, selfish, unrestrained, admiring vanity, with very messy private lives, having boyfriends numbering more than one could count on their fingers.
A girl who looks bold, saucy, and even vivaciously gorgeous couldn’t possibly be so emotionally affected by an unintentional kiss.
Si Yuheng lifted the corner of his mouth, "How’s the taste?"
Liang Anya finally snapped out of her shock, "What taste?"
Still pretending? He turned his neck and wickedly stuck out the tip of his tongue, licking his handsome thin lips, "Don’t tell me you just gave me your first kiss, Chinese sweetheart."
