What’s there to be concerned about! As if she had anything to be concerned about, alright?

Then, his arms propped against the backs of the seats on either side of her, he effectively trapped her in the middle.

"What are you doing?" Jiayi’s body shivered slightly, feeling him press closer, his warm and overpowering masculine scent drawing nearer.

And just like always, she was frustratingly weak, knowing she should dodge but completely unable to muster the strength.

In front of this man, she always seemed to melt into a puddle of water.

Jiayi was puzzled as she looked at him.

"Drive her car and take her back!" Huo Zhenyang ordered sharply.

"No need, it’s not far, I’ll be back in no time." She had moved to Green Island Garden, which was very close to here by car.

"I don’t want my car to be smashed to pieces on the road." He gave her a cold glance and walked away.

Jiayi realized what he meant; with her current emotional instability, anyone with eyes could see it, and it was no different from drunk driving, especially late at night when accidents were more likely.

Under the Boss’s orders, Ade drove the mini Cooper to take Jiayi back to Green Island Garden.

That night, after a hot bath, Jiayi didn’t do anything else, closing her bedroom door early and crawling into bed.
