Chapter 97: Chapter 97: No One in This World Will Ever Love You More Than I Do

Evelyn’s heart was in her throat, she clenched her teeth tightly, even her breathing slowed to a gentle pace, and she dared not move an inch, as if she were frozen in place.

She knew all too well that if Caden Lockwood found her, the consequences would be utterly disastrous!

In her heart, she prayed to find her ID card so she could leave smoothly!

At that moment, Evelyn heard Eleanor Keaton’s voice.

"Brother Caden, I made you some coffee. Try it! I’m sure you’ll love it!" Eleanor said as she presented the coffee she had brewed herself, her face beaming with a bright smile.

Caden Lockwood glanced briefly at Eleanor, the disdain between his brows was evident and unhidden.

He recalled a visit to The Keaton Family, where out of politeness he commented that the coffee was good, only to later find out that Eleanor had made it. She clung to this as evidence of his supposed affection for her.

She was Julian Keaton’s sister, after all, and out of courtesy, he had to show some respect.

If Eleanor really caused a scene, Julian would definitely hold it against him.

If she would stop pestering him, it would indeed be a good thing.

"After you leave, do as you promised and let it go." Caden Lockwood ordered.

Eleanor nodded obediently and said, "Brother Caden, don’t worry, I will keep my word! I just wanted to say goodbye to you, and I promise I’ll never have any inappropriate thoughts about you again. I wish you happiness."

As he looked at the cup of coffee, a rich aroma filled the air.

Since returning from the banquet hall, he had been waiting for Evelyn, feeling truly weary.

A cup of coffee to refresh would be nice!

He accepted the coffee cup and took a small sip.

"Have some more!" Eleanor looked at Caden Lockwood expectantly, "Brother Caden, if you ever want more of my coffee, you can always reach out to me! If I can’t be your wife, I can still be your sister, right?"

Caden Lockwood didn’t reply, taking another sip of the coffee.

Eleanor couldn’t hide her disappointment, her face dimmed with despondence.

When facing her, Caden Lockwood was always reticent and cold, stingy with his words.

Yet today, he had spoken such a long confession to Evelyn at the banquet hall.

Anger, envy, jealousy, and resentment brewed within her!

What made Evelyn worthy of such special affection from him?

If only a sliver of it could be hers, she would leap with joy!

Watching Caden Lockwood drink most of the coffee, a profound smile appeared at the corner of Eleanor’s lips, her innocent brightness now shrouded with a layer of darkness.

"Brother Caden." Her voice was gentle, "Since I became aware of my feelings and at first sight of you, I fell in love with you. It’s not just a fleeting liking but a deep obsession! In this world, no one loves you more than I do!"

"You should leave." Caden Lockwood said sternly.

"You’ve turned me away so many times, do you dislike me that much?" Eleanor protested, "What’s so good about Evelyn? She was flirting with Logan Shaw at the banquet! Brother Caden, she doesn’t belong to our world. I understand you find her intriguing now, but eventually, you’ll return to a life like mine!"

Caden Lockwood’s face grew stern, glaring at Eleanor, and his powerful iciness pressed her to leave his house quickly.

Otherwise, she would face consequences she couldn’t bear.

The respect he offered to Julian Keaton didn’t extend to her disturbing him for too long.

"Marry me! I can tolerate you keeping Evelyn outside, or she could live with us!" Eleanor pleaded tearfully, "Brother Caden, I truly love you, please, have pity on me, let me be your wife, that way you can also report back to The Lockwood Family, alright?"
