Slowly Falling into His Love Trap-Chapter 23:
Evelyn stared intently at Caden Lockwood, the profound meaning in his gaze making every cell in her body stand on end.
In this current position, she couldn’t feel at ease—she was half-lying in the passenger seat, with him looming over her, his strong arm propped against the seat, leaving a fist-sized gap between their bodies, ready to completely cover her at any moment.
Her big eyes sparkled with a lively light as she spoke pleadingly: "Uncle, can you get up for a moment? I think I sprained my back, ouch, it hurts so much! If you don’t sit up, my bones will break! Hurry, get up, get up!"
Caden Lockwood clenched his fist, his voice squeezing through his teeth: "There’s only one way you could’ve sprained your back!" His tone was vicious.
Evelyn inwardly cried out that it wasn’t good, and sure enough, before her conclusion could reach her senses, a hot kiss was already pressing down on her.
Caden Lockwood kissed Evelyn’s lips; he was really furious. If he hadn’t come to pick her up, was she planning to accept that bouquet of roses and be with that man?
Although she had anticipated what was going to happen,
her small face flushed red as she clenched her little hand into a fist, hitting his back again and again. His muscles were solid, and hitting him made her hand ache.
The more she resisted, the bolder he became; he could control her with just one hand. The hot kiss moved downwards, finally giving her back the air.
"Uncle!" she exclaimed in shock, "Don’t touch me! No! Let me go!"
"Let go?" Caden Lockwood gripped Evelyn’s chin, his dark eyes flashing cruelly, "Let you go back to that man’s side?"
He was always brooding because she said there was someone she liked.
Initially, he confidently believed that as long as he wanted to, he could have any woman.
However, this woman now inexplicably made him agitated and made him question himself.
Whether because he had given her the conditions to survive initially, or because she became the only woman who made him physically feel something, he hadn’t planned on letting her leave.
She must become Caden Lockwood’s woman!
"No!" Evelyn shook her head with grievance, "He’s just my senior! Uncle, let me go, please, don’t touch me!"
Seeing Evelyn tremble like chaff in the wind, her face as pale as paper, and her big eyes filled with fear, something flashed quickly through Caden Lockwood’s heart.
Had it really come to this, to resorting to force? 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮
He finally let go, unwilling and impatient, yet filled with tenderness.
Evelyn’s first reaction was to turn and open the door to escape, but the car door wouldn’t open no matter what she tried, and the warmth from the back of her head made her tremble even more.
Unexpectedly, this time, it wasn’t an imposition.
His fingertips brushed aside her long hair, gently massaging the back of her head, and she seemed to hear him murmuring to himself: "It’s all red."
Tears collapsed at that moment; Evelyn turned and pushed Caden Lockwood away, crying: "Why do you always bully me! I inexplicably gave myself to you, can’t pursue the love I want anymore, no matter how much I like or can’t bear, I must force myself to stop daydreaming!"
With a swipe of tears, she continued to shout: "I know, it’s all my fault because I got drunk and enticed you, but can you not always treat me like this! Uncle, can you be a little kinder to me?"
