Slime Leveling [Litrpg, Timeloop]-Chapter 207—Guild Master’s Reaction
The elf glanced at everyone. "Before—"
She was cut off as members already began voting.
"I vote for his elimination."
"He must be exterminated."
"He's just a mere slime."
A heavy silence fell.
The air trembled as everyone glared at each other.
"I don't care."
"I abstain."
The votes began to fill in.
The majority were in favour of the slime's survival—believing slimes were weak.
A beautiful middle-aged woman with long, flowing crimson hair down to her back, clad in red robes—a symbol of 10 moons, with two large ones in the middle and 8 surrounding them, embedded on her robe.
If Averon saw it, he would scream, "Octopus Eldritch."
With a cold glint in her eyes, she mused. 'A slime with a king's mark… I should enslave him. He'll be a trump card for our church.'
"What do you think, Priestess Elena?" the elf asked, holding her breath.
The majority present were in favour of slime's survival, which irritated her.
"Since your Moon God was corrupted, taking the curse from his followers—and demons had a major hand," the elf continued, her voice high. "You don't want to repeat the situation again, do you?"
Elena gave a calm smile and replied, "My God isn't so narrow-minded as to take revenge on a small, mere slime. I vote for his survival."
"Damn it!" The elf slammed her palms on the table.
She roared, glancing at everyone, "He possesses a king's mark and can unleash the power of a Demon King."
She took a deep breath, "Today it's just a slime. Let's not make a mistake by giving it time."
"It doesn't matter," the blindfolded woman waved her hand softly.
"Why?" Elf spat, her eyes narrowed.
"From what I see in the visions," the blindfolded lady replied softly, "he is weak… and don't forget he can only unleash king power once per month."
Everyone nodded at the blindfolded woman's words.
She clenched her fists, 'This is all I can do for you, young Averon…Grow up fast.'
"Looks like everyone has stated their opinions," the dragon said sharply, straightening his back. "It's decided. We'll let him live."
A Titan, over 10 meters tall, occupying a very large area in the corner, declared the same. "Don't take unnecessary actions."
"Damn it," a few people gritted their teeth, as it was against their opinion to let a potential bomb walk free.
"Meeting ends," the dragon spat, as he disappeared.
One by one, they disappeared with a flash of sparks.
Elena and the Sun Goddess priest also vanished.
"It seems it's our bad luck," the dryad sighed as she exited.
The elf glanced at the empty void and the floating table.
"I hope this wasn't a mistake," she whispered, resting her head on her hands.

In the Moon God's church, main branch—
In the crimson hall, a beautiful white carpet was laid down.
Chandeliers glowed red instead of orange, hanging from the ceiling. The paintings, trinkets on the walls, and furniture were extraordinary.
A crimson octopus statue, over 3 meters tall, with 8 tentacles and small black eyes all over its body—two black eyes on its head glared down. The statue was magically floating in mid-air.
The statue was on top of the altar. Elena knelt before the octopus.
Holding her palms in front of her chest, she said, closing her eyes, "Lord. I have found an interesting prey."
She explained everything. "We can enslave him…."
The statue erupted with violent black energy as a creepy, bone-chilling aura spread through the area.
The statue said in a sharp, cold, alien voice, "My dear Elena, your plan is good. But it needs some changes…"
After a few moments—
"Incredible, Lord…" Elena grinned, kneeling, her head slammed against the ground.
The statue ordered, "You must enslave that slime."
He suddenly exploded with bright black energy. Elena shielded her eyes with her hands—just closing them wasn't enough—as it was too intense.
'Remora… I'll make sure to take my revenge,' Moon God thought, clenching his tentacles.
His tentacles tightened. He remembered being torn apart.

In the Sun God's church, main branch—
It was similar in structure to the Moon God's church, except the colour was black and the carpet was crimson. 𝘧𝘳𝘦ℯ𝓌𝘦𝒷𝘯𝑜𝑣𝘦𝓁.𝒸𝘰𝓂
On top of the altar was a huge black spider with a female human head, its limbs spread across the back wall behind the altar, as if crawling.
The spider was creepy and disgusting—it could make a grown man cry with fright—yet the man knelt lovingly.
He uttered, "Oh, Sun Goddess," and said, "I found an interesting detail…"
Like Elena, he explained what happened in the discussion.
"A slime," the spider on the altar muttered, coming to life with a flash of insane black energy.
A chill, bone-trembling aura spread through the area.
Her body trembled for a moment as a black slime flashed in her memory.
She recalled how he had slaughtered her and Moon God, tearing them limb from limb.
'It was painful,' she roared internally.
She clenched her jaw and hissed, "Go ahead. Eliminate him or enslave him. Or else… die."
She then disappeared from the statue.
---
In a green valley, in a huge cave decorated with carpet, trinkets, paintings, and furniture—
A dragon lay casually on his hoard of gold coins, rubies, and gems, playing with a few gems with his claw.
He yawned, complaining nonchalantly, "They are too cautious. What would a slime do, or even can he do?"
---
In a luxurious golden room, an old man with a long white beard and gray hair, clad in a golden suit, sat behind a large mahogany desk on a comfortable chair.
Many files were placed on the desk, along with a few delicate pens.
He patted his palm on the desk as a magic rune of green color flared.
A hologram flashed with numbers in the air.
He tapped number three.
Within a few moments, thud!—thud!—someone knocked on the door and asked, "Can I enter?"
"Yes, come in, Juna," the old man said, folding his hands and slumping back into the chair.
A young woman in a black suit and skirt reaching up to her knees came forth and questioned softly, "Your order, Guild Master?"
Tapping the desk with his index finger, the Guild Master ordered coldly, "Post a SSS rank mission—"
"SSS?" Juna exclaimed, her voice shattering.
Guild Master continued sternly, "A slime has been acknowledged by a king... If anyone can kill him, they'll be rewarded with the title of hero and recognition from the guild—"
"Slime?" Juna whispered.
Her fingers trembled slightly. Only the world-ending power received SSS classification. "How can a slime be worthy of a king's mark?"
Guild Master sighed. "Even I don't know…"
Juna's eyes widened.
Guild Master exhaled, ordering, "Post another SSS rank mission—since we are in the dark, acquire the details of the slime. Even small details would be appreciated."
"I will," Juna nodded sharply.
Soon, she posted the guild mission. Every branch had two new missions on the mission boards.
[ Rank SSS Mission.
Kill the slime who gained the mark of the king!
Reward: Title of Hero! ]
Across continents, veteran adventurers froze.
SSS rank meant that the world was at stake.
[ Rank SSS
Scout out the slime who gained the king's mark and find his details. Anything would be appreciated.
Reward: Based on intel collected! ]
"This is insane… A slime has acquired a king's mark?" a middle-aged man clad in a white long robe exclaimed. "Which king is so lazy and mindless as to acknowledge a slime?"
He gripped the sword at his waist and declared, "I, Sword King Risa, will annihilate this abomination before the demons can harm the world."
He stepped toward the mission board. His killing intent alone made the air split. Weak adventurers had instantly fainted from his intent.
