Chapter 535: Chapter 535: Final Dungeon - Sixth Floor (Part 3)

"Wow, the increase to your stats looks a lot more substantial than I expected," I remarked, as I used Appraisal on Aria.

<Yes, I was surprised too>

<The link between you two has grown stronger than I realized, so I was able to make more significant refinements and improvements than I expected>

"Yeah, I’m feeling really good. I’ve even got a new trick up my sleeve," Aria grinned, holding up her right hand, before a shadowy black flame appeared over her palm.

"Woah, what a strange heat," Chimed in Jaden in fascination, as he moved his hand near the flame.

"So, uh...don’t suppose you can hand out power boosts to the rest of us?" Spoke up Aarav with a wry smile.

"Sorry, man, but no," I replied apologetically.

"Hey, don’t worry, maybe at least one of the remaining two Sentinels have a Personalis Arma, so-...," Began Aria, before her eyes widened slightly as she trailed off, before continuing, "Hold on, did we...did we completely forget to give Avaritia’s Personalis Arma to one of us?"

"Huh? Oh, shit...yeah, that’s right, it completely slipped my mind. Wait, did we leave it behind? Since I was using Subjugate, I wasn’t paying any attention to the Personalis Arma," I recalled with a grimace.

"Oh, don’t worry about that. When you used Subjugate, I took the opportunity to put the weapon in Treasury. I just forgot about it until right now. Here it is," Replied Aria, as she pulled the rod out of Treasury.

"Well, the only one of us X-Aces who doesn’t have one yet is Aarav, so it should go to him," Chimed in Jaden.

"I mean, these three don’t have one either, so...," Responded Aarav, glancing at the Aces.

"No, since we’re staying out of the fighting, it wouldn’t make sense to give it to any of us, it’d just be wasted," Petrus shook his head.

"Yeah, what he said. Like, sure, it’d be super cool to have a unique weapon perfectly suited to me and all, but in the current situation, it’d be pretty illogical to give it to one of us instead of an X-Ace," Brid reluctantly nodded in agreement.

"Each person can only wield one Personalis Arma at a time, right? So, if we do encounter more after this, one of you three will get it," Mused Ciel thoughtfully.

"Probably shouldn’t pick me, since I’m useless in combat," Remarked Jax sheepishly.

"<If I may speak, my King...both of the remaining Sentinels possess Personalis Arma. Deino, the Crocodilian King and Angus, the Bovine King>," Gula informed me.

"Good to know, thanks. Do you know which of them is on this floor?" I asked her.

"<I can answer that, Master. The Sentinel on this floor is Angus>," Chimed in Avaritia.

"<Mm, he is quite delectable, we Sentinels were made to spar against each other after we were first created, and of all the other nine Sentinels, Angus had the best-tasting flesh>," Sighed Gula, drooling slightly, before adding, "<Oh, but your flesh was even more delightful, my King, the best I’ve ever tasted>."

"Oh, uh...thank you, I guess?" I responded in bemusement.

"<I think your meat tastes good too, Daddy>," Added Luxuria with a smirk.

"Hey," Frowned Aria with a disapproving glare.

"<Heh, sorry>."

"Anyway, uh...this Angus, since he’s called the Bovine King, I’m guessing the Monsters on this floor must be Bullocks and Minotaurs. How strong is he compared to you guys?" I inquired curiously.

"<Well, in terms of brute strength, he is the second strongest of the Sentinels, but by a very small margin in comparison to the strongest, which is Deino. He is deceptively agile as well>," Gula informed me.

"I see. Thanks, that helps, we know what to expect now. What kind of abilities does he possess?"

"<He specializes in close-range combat, he doesn’t possess any ranged attacks>," Answered Avaritia.

"That’s a relief, it should make him easier to deal with," Muttered Aarav with a quiet sigh of relief.

"And what about his Personalis Arma? What kind of weapon does he have?" Aria asked them.

"<A large hammer that can expand in size>," Replied Gula.

"Thanks, you two, this information should prove useful. Now, then, before we head out...let’s link the available Personalis Arma to you, Aarav, shall we?" I suggested, Aria handing me the rod as I approached him.

"Yeah, sounds good. Guess I should consider myself lucky that I wasn’t chosen to fight the previous battle, hope I get something good," He replied with a wry smile, before I placed my hand on his shoulder and held the rod out to him.

"Whenever you’re ready, take hold of it," I instructed him.

"Heh...that’s what she said," He chuckled, before letting out a slow exhale as he tentatively reached for the rod.

He paused for a moment, his hand hovering over it, before he took hold of it...

Hey, nice, no errors this time.

<Yes, I’ve worked out the kinks>

The rod began glowing brightly before taking shape, wrapping around his right hand and extending along his forearm, up to his eblow.

The part over his hand took the shape of a narrow gun barrel, the flow fading as the weapon finished forming, a gauntlet with a blaster at the end of it.

A display then popped up before me:

Name: [ ]

[+30% Boost to All Stats While Equipped]

[+20% Boost to All Spells While Equipped]

[Bone Mode / Blood Mode]

<Please Designate a Name for Your New Weapon>

"Alright, it’s done, all that’s left to do is name it," I informed him.

"Hm...what does it do? I definitely feel stronger," He remarked, as he opened and closed his left fist a couple of times.

"It gives you an overall physical boost of thirty percent, along with a twenty percent boost to your Magic. And it can switch between two different modes, Bone Mode and Blood Mode. I think you switch modes by chanting."

"Huh, cool...[Blood Mode]. Hm? Nothing happened. Uh...[Bone Mode]," He frowned, before his eyes widened as the barrel changed shape...
