Chapter 751: 751: Punishment

Getting kicked on the mouth with a force enough to make one’s teeth fly out your mouth was enough to wake someone up. The cultivator from the Thousand Vines Sect was roughly awakened by this kick and opened his eyes unable to close his bleeding mouth as he can feel his teeth falling from within. As for the ones inside the cage, they didn’t expect for them to be so helpless before the Goddess of the Moon. Only Cui Xia, who already knew this would happen, looked at the scene with a dead gaze.

Ugh~

"Ho.. Da hell...!?" The cultivator from the Thousand Vines Sect grumbles only to stop his words when he looks around and sees that his surroundings have changed.

He was dazed for a moment and recalled what he had experienced before after falling into that river. There was no depth. Endless unknown things were dragging him down. The more he tries to struggle the more they clung on him with their sharp claws that left wounds on him spreading pain that is almost unimaginable. His face turned bloodless upon this recollection and he abruptly jumped away from the Moon Goddess and the Immortal Sun God when he stood up.

Only then he realized that he is no longer in that depthless river but instead in someone else’s territory. He also noticed that four disciples of his that were imprisoned in some kind of cage looked at him with an expression that one can hardly explain in words. This is especially true for his eldest disciple, Cui Xia who had dead fish eyes.

The man immediately ate a pill that instantly cured his mouth and even his teeth had regrown. Just as he was about to open his mouth to speak, a handsome man with long crimson hair once again punched his mouth returning it to the state when he first woke up. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚

Shen Jueyang said as he grabbed his collar and broke both of his legs nonchalantly.

Agh!!!

"Who allowed you to heal your wounds?" The Immortal Sun Emperor said.

He was grabbed like a thing and thrown in the land before the Moon Goddess who was staring at him coldly ever since he opened his eyes. He didn’t even know why he was in this kind of situation. Isn’t he just stealing a god’s legacy from some kid? He fell like a rug on the ground with his face facing where his caged disciples are.

He saw his eldest disciple, Cui Xia, mouthed one word which sent chills directly to his heart and mind.

Yue

This cultivator would have never thought that in his whole life he would offend someone from the Everlasting Moon Empire and its someone with the surname Yue, which meant that the young lady in front of him is the infamous, Moon Empress who had placed a Blood Moon Curse in the Fairy race making them unable to leave their land due to this curse itself. Just the unbelievable pain this curse gave was enough for one to question life.

While trembling, unknown whether it was due to pain or fear, the middle aged man cultivator had slowly raised his head while praying in his head not to see anything silver. However, when he just raised his head, what he saw was an otherworldly beauty with long silver hair and silver eyes. These are the traits which only the royal blood of the Yue Clan possessed.

It was said that the royal bloodline of the Moon Clan were born with silver hair and silver eyes. This is because they were born with the purest moon essence and blessing of the Moon Deity. The lighter the shade of their hair is, the more powerful they are.

’Hair is almost as white as snow. Eyes glitters with an argent hue as if the moon itself was embedded in it.’

These are the thoughts that entered the middle aged man’s mind when he saw the Moon Goddess. Just as he was about to open his mouth, the Immortal Sun Emperor had stepped on his head forcing him to kiss the ground.

Thud

A cold, husky voice echoes in the area saying, "Your eyes are disgusting." Shen Jueyang said.

Seeing how their master is being treated, the four disciples couldn’t help but plead for mercy for his sake.

Meng Lili, whose face was covered in tears, shouted, "Please stop! It was all my fault! It was me who told Master about Ru Yunlan and his legacy!"

"Please don’t kill our master!" Zou Yan said.

Qin Yao said, "I also know that Senior Sister Meng told our master about Ru Yunlan but didn’t stop her."

Yue Xuexia noticed that one of the four didn’t speak and just looked at the scene with dead fish eyes as if whatever was happening was nothing she could stop with her strength. Moreover, their master had harmed a family member or at least someone connected to the Moon Clan.

The Moon Goddess ignored the man trampled under the foot of the Immortal Sun Emperor and approached the cage to look directly at Cui Xia who doesn’t seem to care what is happening to their group anymore. Acting like a bystander that is waiting for death instead.

She asked Cui Xia, "Why do you have no intention to plead for your master?"

"Nothing can be done. Ru Yunlan is harmed by the Master and it was because of my Junior Sister’s message that leads to this. With the harm already done, you will most likely not forgive us and even the Thousand Vines Clan will be affected. We are powerless to do anything from a Royal Clan," Cui Xia answered.

The Moon Goddess didn’t deny that fact as she is not willing to forgive the person who harmed her godson. But this young lady had nothing to do with the situation at all, she is innocent and the one who had been wanting to be on their good side.

Yue Xuexia said, "So clear headed. How come your sister and brothers as well as your master are fools? Is your sect made up of stupid people? To suddenly attack someone with legacy in their possession without investigating their background, that is something only a brainless person can think of."

Cui Xia didn’t seem to deny the words of the Moon Goddess or maybe she no longer cares. In her eyes, the result had been decided and she was only waiting for the verdict that they would decide. The Moon Goddess was observing her without saying a word.

"Very well. For this young lady’s sake, I shall spare your lives," said Yue Xuexia.

She gestures with her hand for Shen Jueyang to spare the middle aged man from before. Upon hearing her words, Meng Lili, Qin Yao and Zou Yan had visibly become happy but for some reason Cui Xia didn’t. Because she knows that what the goddess is sparing was only their lives and nothing else.

They watched as the Goddess of the Moon stood up. With a wave of her hand, the cage broke into pieces and a space portal appeared in thin air. She walks back and uses her Qi to lift the bloodied face of a middle aged man who had harmed her godson.

"Sparing your lives is not a problem. But... You will still have to receive a punishment for causing harm and harming Yunlan. How about a little curse~" said the Moon Goddess but the middle aged man before him was already struck with fear.

This little curse the Goddess of the Moon was talking about is none other than the vicious blood moon curse that can make even the fairy queen cry in pain every night. To prevent the pain from surging to the most painful level, one had to live in a place without evening.

"N-No... Pweas... Nho.. Sfare me!"

Unfortunately, Yue Xuexia didn’t move. She had seen the vicinity where her godson was attacked. Almost half of the riverbed was destroyed and the attack used by this man was something to instantly kill his opponent. He wanted to kill Ru Yunlan to prevent others knowing that he had taken the legacy of the god from the young man and made sure that aside from him and his disciples no one shall know. The attraction of legacies is widespread even in the immortal world it’s just that most of the big shots like legacies of well known gods like the Immortal Sun Emperor and etc.

Devoid of any emotions on her face, Yue Xuexia placed the blood moon curse on the middle aged man’s forehead. As if something was burrowing on the man’s forehead, a blood colored crescent moon was placed by the Moon Goddess. The middle aged man fainted from pain and fear.

The Immortal Sun Emperor said, "So useless. He fainted just like that. Should I also cripple him?"

"As you wish," said the Moon Goddess.

As she turned around to send these guests out of the ruins, she heard the man who was supposed to be awake groaning in pain. It seems that Shen Jueyang had crippled him in a painful way.
