Signing-In: The Lazy Moon Goddess-Chapter 448: Stuck In an Ancient Ruin.

Inside the ancient ruins...

The time inside the ruins is faster compared to the outside world. This is another world with a completely different flow of time. It was only a month outside but a year had already passed inside. If not for the fact that everyone from the Yue Family are cultivators, they would have aged faster inside. Because of time and resources found inside the ruins, the cultivation realms of the whole Yue Family had increased. Though these bodies are simply just clones and their origin souls have been moved to a new body, except for Papa Yue and Mama Yue, the two sisters, Yue Ruxia and Yue Jixia, didn’t know about their situation. They just felt something weird about them but were unable to realize what it was. So they just choose to ignore it and live normally as always.

Yue Jixia and Yue Ruxia are now in some kind of forest within the ruins hunting a huge beast that looks both like a dragon and a snake with eight heads. It is similar to the hydra in the myths from the Mortal Realm. The difference is that this one can speak due to its dragon bloodline making it superior to any other snake beast in the ruins. It also possessed an early stage Yuanying realm.

Yue Jixia is riding on the back of the black winged tiger, Yueyue. His younger sister, Yue Ruxia is using the wind as a medium to teleport around the beast even using the trees as shields.

Yue Jixia said, "Ruru, Yueyue and I will take its attention, sneak an attack and stab it in its heart. Ask mengmeng to restrain its head if it wants to attack you!"

"Okay. I will follow after you, Erjie!" said Yue Ruxia as she blended with the wind and disappeared on the spot.

Yue Jixia took out her Bai Liu, her artifact weapon, a whip. She pats Yueyue’s back and says, "Yueyue, I will leave it to you. Come closer to our target and don’t let us get caught."

Yueyue understood the words of her mistress’s second sister. After hunting monsters with these two and Mengmeng, the sentient tarantula whose mission is to protect Yue Ruxia and Yue Jixia with him, they had gotten quite an understanding of one another. Yue Jixia flies around the eight headed dragon working with Yueyue to fly above them making its eight heads stretch towards the sky trying to bite them. Of course, she would fight back with her whip whenever a head tried to bite her.

{Damn human! Stop flying around!}

{I’m going to eat! Bite you to half. Drink your blood and chew your flesh! You and that stupid tiger will be enough to fill a quarter of this lord’s stomach!}

With a frown on her face, Yue Jixia retorted, "You dream big for a worm!"

The taunt from Yue Jixia was so effective that eight headed snakes concentrated on attacking them and ignoring everything else. Moreover, he is lost in anger and can barely think properly with his minimal intelligence.

Taking this an opportunity, Yue Ruxia who was hiding near them by the woods flew towards the chest of the eight headed dragon controlling the wind elements not to only fly but also accelerate her speed. She wasn’t covered in blood as the sentient Moon Spider, Yue Meng protected her with her spider silk. To make sure that the dragon will die from this wound, Mengmeng left her poison when the heart was dug out.

The eight headed dragon never expected to be killed by four Jindan realm cultivators and spirit beasts. Moreover, it was when he let his guard slip due to anger. At his last moment of its life, it tried to self explode to take them down with his death. Yue Jixia noticed this and warned her younger sister to shout at her to run away.

"Ruru! Mengmeng! RUN! He wanted to self-destruct! I will block it for you! Run now!" Yue Jixia shouted as she jumped off from Yueyue’s back.

The black winged tiger cub can only grit his teeth to grab Yue Ruxia and Mengmeng as well as Yue Jixia to fly away. He used his full speed and even used his qi and bloodline talent just so his strength would temporarily increase from Peak Jindan Realm to Early Yuanying Realm. Yue Jixia tried to cover the beast that exploded with a wall of water and a tree , even coughing blood for overexertion. However, it was still too late.

A silver pillar of light fell from the moon falling onto the eight headed dragon that was about to self-destruct. As if falling from the control of the moon, a female voice resounds in the area.

The eight headed dragon’s movement halted for a split second. Only for a second but it was enough as a black light fell in the sky striking it down instantly turning it into a pile of ashes. Regardless of its accumulated power, under the black lightning its existence was erased and turned into a pile of ashes.

Yue Jixia, Yue Ruxia and the two spirit beasts looked at the darkness slowly retreating. They saw two moons in that dark sky, a thunderstorm and a full moon with green and red hue. As well as the figure of their parents, Yue Yuya and Su Lili. The four of them were so amazed, they had never expected that aside from their elder sister (Master), their parents were quite powerful as well.

Moreover, isn’t the domain of the moon their elder sister’s domain. How come their Mama and Papa can use it as well? Is there something they are supposed to know?

After the domain of the moon rescinded, the sky is once again full of light. Mama Yue and Papa Yue checked on their daughters for injuries and worry was vividly imprinted on their faces.

"Are you guys okay? Are you hurt somewhere?" Mama Yue asked as she almost flipped over her daughters just to check for injuries. Thankfully, none was found.

Yue Jixia said, "We are fine, Mama."

"That was amazing just now. How can Mama and Papa use Dajie’s domain?" questioned Yue Ruxia.

Yue Jixia said, "No, it’s different. Jiejie’s domain is the crescent moon most of the time, but it can change phases. The moons before are permanent."

"You can differentiate domains? That’s amazing, Xiao Ji," Papa Yue praised his second daughter.

Yue Jixia said, "I’ve only seen Jiejie’s domain during the battle against the sea monster. Her domain is ever changing. Even though Ma and Pa’s domain look similar, it looks like a copy instead."

"Well, it’s not really a copy. This is our bloodline’s domain source. You two should be able to incorporate your elements into it as well. As for your sister’s domain, she is original and hers alone. Ours are only borrowed." Mama Yue explained.

Papa Yue said, "This is similar to how you possessed the Lightning God’s physique despite not having lightning roots. We will teach you how to awaken and use it the way we do. Anyway, we are stuck in this place. We have lots of time for you two to learn lots of things."

"Though that snake suddenly choosing to self-destruct was unexpected. You should be able to block it with your lightning god’s physique. It seems to have forgotten about how your lightning armor is capable of blocking one level of your original cultivation realm. All of you are in the Jindan Realm and that snake is at an early stage in the Yuanying realm. You should have been able to block it even if it self imploded."

"Alright, Papa. They are still young. They can still be taught. The flesh of that snake can still be eaten as long as it was purified. Let’s bring it back and cook it for lunch," Mama Yue said.

Four Yue family members had been stuck in this ruin for a whole year. Though only a month had passed in the cultivation realm ever since they arrived, in this ancient ruin, a whole month had already passed and they still couldn’t leave at all as no portals had appeared all this time.
