Once the greetings were over, the meal was ordered and while waiting for the dishes to be served, business talks started.
"Have you thought about what you would in exchange of what we agreed upon?" Raya asked with a calm tone, but her heart was actually racing.
She didn’t know what this young grandmaster would ask of them. After all, she didn’t lack money. She was quite surprised that after the new land was transferred to her, within a short time she was already starting construction.
After seeing how much the new project was worth, and combining it with the current, where she was building her house, Raya, honestly was at a loss of words.
Who build a house worth more than U$1 billion? That was worth several billions of Atharian dollars. Do you know how many good governmental projects that kind of money would do?

Besides, when something benefits her, she didn’t mind hoarding thousands or billions of it.
Diamond looked at the other lady with beaming eyes and smilingly responded, "How about more land?" while tilting her head.
Raya was stunned at that response. She wasn’t expecting that she would ask for more land. If there was one thing that the country didn’t lack, it was land.
There was a lot of undeveloped land just lying idle and coming in the way of the country’s development and progress.
Of course, one of the major reasons why land remained that way was due to the government lack of funds. The money that the government has, it has a lot of purposes. It all cant just be diverted towards developing the country through infrastructure and the like.
As for the real estate companies and the like, when people are broke and cant afford to buy houses, where would the market be?
So, there weren’t many of them interested in doing such projects which might send them under.
As a result, the country has a lot of land to spare, but with only few willing buyers.
Life is truly tough.
However, after the shock passed, Raya became very happy.
There was one thing that even the others from the above told her to do without pressure. As long as Diamond wants to develop the country in any way, they should support her.
The more she invests in the country, the more unwilling she would be in the future to leave.
Grandmasters were an allure and anywhere they want to go, they were welcomed with open arms. If they let such a young talented grandmaster be enticed by other countries, their loss would be great.
It was better to hold her down in their country with every trick that they could do.
"You really want the land? Are you sure?" to be certain, Raya asked, masking her excitement with a cool façade.
Diamond chuckled as she looked Raya and nodded. "Yep. I have been thinking hard about it. That piece of land you gave me. I plan to build a park- my park. The kind where I put all of my companies’ head offices, and the like.
After reviewing that plan, I realized that there were a lot of good stuff missing. So, I thought about it, long and hard. Why not acquire more land and achieve my dreams there?" she chucklingly said before adding, "I want land to build schools, housing apartments for my staff. Even if not for them, then other people. I don’t mind collecting rent and becoming a landlady. I want to build orphanages, care centres for the elderly and if the land is really that good, then add a few more farms. Having more food to feed the people isn’t so bad.
So just think about it and see what kind of land you can give me. I don’t mind about the place, though it will still be a bonus if its closer to home. I still want to concentrate more on Frin City. I consider that place my home and home base, so do me some favor, okay!"
If she were to be given the other land after the new land which will be under development soon, she might as well build her own village or small town. Either way, it would be awesome to have such a place closer to home.
Her children and family in the future will have neighbors and people to play with.
Raya was very much interested in what she was hearing and found no harm. However, since the matter was a big one, she couldn’t just agree readily. She would need to sit down with others and see which land was currently unclaimed and available.
"I will take that into account and return to you in a few days. You wouldn’t mind the delay, right?"
"Haha, I am a very patient person," she chucklingly responded while adding inwardly, ’besides, developing land will require more money. I still need to earn more. I can’t recklessly touch my balance. My heart will ache.’
Raya sighed with relief when she heard that and discussed some more details with Diamond, who happily obliged.
"in your park, are you planning to add the bank as well?"
"Yes, I do plan to do that. I want the head offices to be situated there. But I will also have some branches opened in other places as time goes."
"What about now?"
She didn’t need to think much about that answer, as she already has it.
"I have a building I plan to use. It might take a while, but it will happen. After all, most procedures are already done. Just need to deal with the real deal. If all things go well, the bank should be opened before March," she confidently responded, though inwardly she was busy mocking herself for forgetting such an important thing.
The bank approval documents were all signed a long time ago, but too much work and pressure made her forget.
Talking about the bank, Diamond took a mental note to add it to her to do list. She shouldn’t forget about it again.
Raya sighed relievedly when she heard that. Because, there haven’t been any news regarding the bank, they were all starting to get worried.
After all, as long as the bank opens, it means that Diamond would inject money in the bank, and the money goes to who?
They needed a lot of money, and also find something again to hold Diamond in the country.
Food was served and as they ate, they chatted. After all, they didn’t have the luxury of observing some table manners, when all of them were busy people.
"I have always been curious about something. How long did it take you to become a grandmaster?" as they enjoyed their meal, Raya curiously asked and Diamond looked at her with an unwavering gaze.
Diamond didn’t think that this question would finally find her after sometime.
Unlike other people who wouldn’t think much into it, and believe that she was just an intermediator and not the person involved, herself. Raya and her organization were far more knowledgeable than that. They know things that ordinary people didn’t, and for things that were super hidden by the system, they obviously wouldn’t know.
She had always known that one day, someone would question her abilities, if they come to surface and an answer had already been brewed. Its just that, for a long time, no one dared ask such.
Facing Raya, Diamond actually didn’t feel compelled to answer, but since the other party was the link between her and the nation, it didn’t hurt to satisfy her curiosity.
"Um, a few years," she answered, lying without batting an eye.
After all, no one really knows what she was truly doing years ago.
