Chapter 970: Chapter 968: SPENDING TIME IN AVIA CITY

On the way to the restaurant for a late lunch, the car was filled with chatter.

"Dear, how do you plan to deal with the snacks?"

"Sell them of course."

"How?" Richard was mostly curious about that.

Diamond chuckled as she looked at her nosy friend.

"Do you want to help me sell?" she couldn’t help but tease as she asked playfully.

Richard stuck his tongue playfully at her as he nodded, "Um, they are very good, and I like them. How about you sell some to me? My clubs always sell snacks and the likes. Don’t you think that it will be better for me to support family than others?"

When he said that, Diamond looked at him with sparkling eyes, which made Richard shiver as he scooted away from her.

Diamond chuckled heartily as she grabbed the man closer to him.

"Now we are talking. Hehe, since you are so sincere. I will make the deal with you. I will have someone sign the contract with you. Whatever amount you want, this lady will give it to you," she didn’t turn down the offer but happily started talking about the business.

When it comes to business, amongst the many mottos she has, when dealing with friends, she always thinks about that saying, ’settling accounts between brothers.’

Business is business and personal is personal. Those are two separate matters and should never be mixed.

Waylon sat there silently, watching as the two friends entered business mode and started talking numbers.

Once they were done, they reverted to their playful nature.

With the majority of business taken care of, Diamond finally felt like she could breathe. As long as she wasn’t in Frin City, she could relax and play a little without feeling guilty at all.

So, apart from the time she instructed Nancy to find her someone who will be managing Gem Bites in the future, the retailing side as well as the first contract, she never touched anything related to work during her stay in Avia City.

After a sumptuous late lunch, the three of them toured the city and had a lot of fun before dining at a famous restaurant.

After dinner, they headed back to the villa where an uninvited guest was waiting for them.

When Diamond saw who the guest was, the smile on her face never left as she brought Eric to the side for a chat.

Anyway, the team of three ended up with another member. That night, they drank, chatted and had a lot of fun. They slept late but they all had smiles on their faces.

The next morning, Richard refused to be a light bulb. So, the couple were on their own. Something that they both didn’t mind. After all, how could they date properly with someone else with them?

Avia City was a beautiful city. Despite the slight cold, there were many places that the couple could actually go to.

Diamond’s popularity in Avia City wasn’t that high, so she could roam freely in the city without people recognizing her at every bat of an eye.

Besides, to enjoy her date, she donned on a mask but not to the extent of hiding herself to the fullest.

It was quite rare to have such moments back home. Both of them were quite happy and spent the two days dating to the fullest.

From visiting some scenic spots, taking beautiful photos to commemorate the memories, buying trinkets and souvenirs to bring home and above all, strengthening their relationship and taking it to another level, without taking the final step.

Time quickly flew and before they knew it, it was the night before departure.

They haven’t done much or spent enough time together, but they still had to return home and deal with issues that waited for them.

They were taking the morning flight. Diamond’s delivery could be signed for in the morning, so she needed to make haste.

"Don’t forget to bring these with you. Eric said it’s a gift," as Diamond was packing the local specialties in one of the suitcases, Richard brought two bottles of fine wine over.

Diamond grunted as she took the bottles from Richard. "Tell him, thanks. I will send him a bottle of my fine wine. I didn’t bring any with me this time," and made a promise.

She couldn’t just take out a bottle out of thin air, right?

When Richard heard that, a smile broke out on his face, recalling the wine that Diamond brought for him.

"He would surely love it."

"Humph, how can he not? Have you forgotten who made it?" she boasted as she put the wine away and Richard chuckled heartily at her boastfulness.

The friends had a nice banter as the suitcase become fuller.

After packing the suitcase, she put it away before everyone gathered in the living room for a relaxing moment.

"When I have free time, I will drop by for a few days in Frin City."

Diamond smiled as she looked at Richard and said, "Then come when I have free time. This coming month, I shouldn’t be free," not forgetting to keep in mind her own schedule.

Richard chuckled helplessly as he looked at her and asked, "what are you even busy with?"

Diamond clicked her tongue as she leaned in the couch, answering, "an important mission," her tone sounding playful.

None of the men took her seriously and simply laughed it off. After all, in their minds, she should be meaning doing business, right?

That should be important.

"I will confirm with you first. I won’t come hastily."

Diamond nodded with satisfaction when she heard that. The two chatted fervently about meeting each other, not knowing how that next meeting would span months, with so much changes happening between.

The future was truly difficult to foresee.

Because it was the last night, none of them were that willing to go back to their rooms.

So, they chatted until very late and by the time they went to their respective rooms, it was already the next day.

Seeing that there was no point in sleeping, Diamond spent her time drafting some future plans for the new business; Gem Bites. After all, she has never really planned much for it.

Being so focused with work, time flew very fast and by the time she raised her head to stretch her neck, it was already dawn and the system was happily making its presence known in her mind.

It was destined to be another good day.
