After dinner that night, Diamond added more ingredients in Ma Perry’s storage bag to last her for a very long time. She didn’t know when her father’s farm produce would be ready for harvest. Before then, her mother would have to use what she had.

She didn’t just give to her mother, but gave some to her father as well. For her father, Diamond took out several high-grade seeds, and fertilizer for him to use when the farm was in the condition.

She also transferred a lot of money for her parents to use before their ventures are on track. After receiving money from Diamond several times, they no longer played the back-and-forth game where they refuse and Diamond would coax them for a long time until they accept.

That morning, Diamond went on her morning jog and while jogging, she ran into the bodyguards safeguarding her parents and informed them that she wanted to see them later.

The two looked at each other, dumbfounded by what they have just seen, shock in their eyes and before they could express their feelings and thoughts, another shocking scene greeted them.

Diamond was facing another male bodyguard and this time, the two of them were busy throwing fists at each other and yet the way she was evading his attack as if it was nothing, made the parents wonder where she learnt to fight like that. After all, as much as they were learning cultivation, there was nothing about fighting in the manual.

The bodyguards nonetheless, watched excitedly the fight and Diamond’s attack was becoming very fast and precise. It wasn’t long before the second bodyguard was defeated.

All five of them fought very hard and yet no one managed to land a blow on Diamond. She wasn’t even sweating and at the end, she turned into a mirage and defeated the head of the bodyguards, rendering everyone speechless.

After the fight which Diamond called training, she felt very liberated. It was the first time that she personally fought and used all the tricks she had been learning for a very long in the Golden Space. The reason why she decided to that was to gauge the bodyguards’ levels as well as prove to them that she wasn’t just a pretty face.

Surely, after the showdown, the bodyguard showed her much more respect than before, which made her feel very good.

Diamond took out a bottle of body strengthening pills and gave them to the bodyguards, saying seriously, "You need to take a pill each. It will strengthen your bones and muscles. You need to continue training and becoming stronger. Also, in the future, someone will come to train you. I don’t want the same situation to repeat itself. My parents were monitored for a long time and yet none of you saw that. So, I shall have someone sharpen your senses and turn you into perfect machines. If you do a good job, I will consider making you strong as me. However, only those who are loyal and do their utmost best for the Perry family can enjoy that benefit. The bodyguards were actually very thrilled. They were former soldiers, after all. They might not be stronger than Diamond, who looked very weak at first glance, but they have heard rumors about special pills. The special forces team tend to use them and it wasn’t always since the pills were very expensive and couldn’t be easily purchased.

And yet their boss was taking them easily like that. This was the greatest trust that anyone had ever shown them. They were grateful and thrilled.

"We understand. We won’t let you down!" their thunderous response rang in everyone’s ears and Diamond was very pleased.

"That’s good. It would be better if you didn’t have to show your powers in the future. After all, by showing them, it means that someone attacked my parents and that won’t be nice," she smilingly said with a smile that didn’t reach the eyes and the bodyguards shuddered but still maintained their expressions.

After saying that without expecting an answer, she threw the bottle to the leader. As for how they would train, that was their business. Her job was to make them stronger. That way, her parents won’t suffer while she lived apart from them.

With the training over, the bodyguards were anxious to become stronger, so once Diamond left, they hurriedly left as well.

As for Diamond, she joined her parents, who were looking at her with that suspicious gaze which forced her to confess and explain how she was that good.

It was only then that her parents relaxed.

"After seeing your fighting prowess, I no longer have to worry about your safety!" Pa Perry sighingly said, a smile on his face as he looked at Diamond.

Diamond stuck her tongue at him before saying, "Don’t worry. I have more tricks under my sleeve. I will always do my best to remain unharmed, no matter what."

"That’s good. Always remember that!"

The three of them chatted briefly before Diamond excused herself to go and freshen up. She had expended some energy and was sweating a lot.

Diamond soaked herself in the lake water inside her tub rather than the space itself and used that time to read some recent comments, which left her laughing like crazy.

After the soak, she rejoined her family for lunch and after lunch, the three of them took a walk in the neighborhood, chatting about this and that. They were having a lot of wonderful moments. Something that they barely do because of living very far away from each other.

Later that night, Diamond prepared dinner for the family and they all gathered in the dining room for a sumptuous meal. When dinner was over, the family of three sat together in the living room watching TV and talking.

"What time are you leaving tomorrow?" Ma Perry asked curiously.

Diamond cleared her throat as she picked the water glass from the table and answered, "I haven’t bought a ticket yet but it should be the 11 am flight or the noon one," before taking a sip.

When Ma Perry heard that, she nodded, finding the time very reasonable.

"That means you must leave here at most around nine!"

"Um, which isn’t that early."

"Indeed. Anyway, I will visit the morning market early tomorrow. You can’t return without some goodies," Ma Perry cheerfully said, and Diamond smiled at that.

She loved local goods so much. Moreover, they were cheaper than buying in big cities.

"When you return, don’t overwork. You have been going around a lot lately," Pa Perry didn’t forget to add, looking at Diamond with a worried expression.

Diamond guiltily looked at her parents before nodding her head. "I will do my best, but don’t worry. I don’t easily get tired." After all, she was someone with spring water and a heavenly physique, which helped all the time.

Still, the parents were worried and gave Diamond a long lecture, which got her smiling wryly. Thankfully, the topic was miraculously changed to something else.

"Will you guys return when Ruby closes for the semester?"

Diamond scratched her head hard when she heard that before answering the parents. "I am not sure about Ruby, but I guess that we will come for a while. With how Ruby is nowadays, she might want to work during the holidays. So, we might have to ask her," her tone laced with uncertainty.

Ma Perry nodded her head when she heard that and didn’t seem upset.

"As long as you guys come over. It doesn’t matter how long you stay. Moreover, having Ruby work is good for her. At least, her mind won’t be straying to the bad side!"

Diamond stifled her laughter when she heard her mother saying that, but still agreed with her. When the mind is busy, there would be no time to go wild and do regrettable things.

So, she supported her mother greatly on that.

They continued to chat for a while longer before it was time to rest.

After biding her parents’ goodnight, Diamond went to her room, where she checked her emails for the day.

It wasn’t easy running such a large empire. Thankfully, she wasn’t a normal person, either. So, there was no harm to her health.

Instead, it provided her with a sense of satisfaction she used to lack before she was rich.
