Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure-Chapter 1339: A strange shop (5)
As we came out of the shop, Elizabeth couldn’t help asking, "Did you know that there was this shop here?"
The way that things progressed was so smooth that Elizabeth couldn’t help feeling that Zwein already knew everything about this place.
If that was the case, did that mean that he had also investigated the demon territory ahead of time?
Thinking of how things went, it really felt like that was the case.
While Elizabeth didn’t really mind since this was to be expected, she did feel a bit uncomfortable that he had taken care of those people for her.
It showed that she didn’t have full control of her own territory.
If she did, then she wouldn’t have had a problem taking down that demon tribe that had kept human slaves. In fact, if she had control, they would have been taken care of a long time ago.
So that was why she felt embarrassed by the fact that she had been exposed like this.
I just calmly shook my head and said, "I didn’t expect to find this place at all. I just kept magic cores in my ring in case I found a use for them. You can just say that I’m a prepared person."
Elizabeth looked at me with a strange look, but she eventually nodded in agreement.
From everything that she saw, she could agree with this.
But there was still something that she had to ask, "What is so special about this place?"
Or rather, the question that she wanted to ask was about the items that he bought from that place.
She could also feel the faint traces of mana that were coming from these items. She was the powerful demon queen with strong mana sensitivity, so it’s only natural that she would be able to do something like that.
But she didn’t have any idea what these items actually did.
And it was hard for her to ask about this since it wasn’t as if they were that close in the first place.

It was only Elizabeth that wanted to become closer to Zwein, but they hadn’t actually become closer yet.
So it wasn’t as if she could just ask him about this.

With the way that Elizabeth acted, it wasn’t hard for me to guess what she was thinking. However, it wasn’t as if I was going to explain what these items were since these were my trump cards in the future.
So instead, I gave her some other information that would distract her.
"If you’re thinking about coming here again in the future, I suggest that you dismiss this thought."
"Huh? What do you mean by that?" Elizabeth asked in a confused voice.
After stepping out, I stopped and turned around to look at the store. As I stood there, I said, "You should be more familiar with this place compared to me. Have you ever seen this store around here before?"
Elizabeth slightly knitted her brows before slowly shaking her head.
This was true, she had indeed never seen this store before or even heard of it before. It had really appeared out of nowhere, which was something that she had never expected to find.
So after thinking about it, there was a part of her that wanted to summon some troops to capture that goblin and take this place over.
This was a store that had opened up without a word in her territory, it was only natural that she would want to deal with it like this.
Of course, I could see that from the look in her eyes, so I added, "This place has a backer, so it’s not that easy to deal with. Not to mention that it won’t be here much longer. It can sell all kinds of magic items, so you should understand what it’s capable of."
Elizabeth deeply knitted her brows when she heard this, but she eventually nodded in agreement.
This place was just too far out of her depths that she wasn’t able to make a proper judgement about this place. If she were to harm the new demon race because of her impulsive actions…
So in the end, we just stood there in front of the store watching it.
It didn’t take long for something to happen.
The windows were suddenly covered by curtains, having been drawn close from the inside.
It seemed that the goblin or whoever else was inside the store was closing up with the way that they closed everything and locked the door. It seemed that they were getting ready to close up shop.
After everything was blocked and locked up, something strange seemed to happen.
It was as if it was folding in on itself with how it slowly started to grow smaller. It started at the very top of the building and soon went faster and faster as it approached the bottom.
The more that it folded in on itself, the less of the building was left.
Eventually, that folding reached the very base of the building and the entire building disappeared into the ground. If one looked closely, they could see that even the things that were on the ground disappeared because of the folding of the building.
The store disappeared without a trace just like this.
None of us could say anything since none of us had expected the way that the building disappeared.
If it just suddenly disappeared into thin air, then that might have been less shocking since it was a single shock. But this was multiple shocks as we had to watch the building fold in on itself like this.
In the end, there was nothing that could be said since there was only a single empty plot of land that was left.
Even if they wanted to say something, there was nothing that could be said since there was nothing left here.
Other than leaving someone here to keep watch just in case it came back, we all left.
Though as we left, I knew that it would be impossible for it to return.
The Shop of Mysteries never returned to the same place in the game.
