Itsuka fires the ball towards home plate, heading straight down the middle.
Laban DaeMon: "...Swiiiiiiinnng!"
With a HARD step forward, Shelly brings the bat around and makes such a loud *CRACK* off the bat the ball goes sailing over the field for a sure as shit home run.
While she rounds the first and second bases, Shelly doesn’t take her eyes off Laban in a stare down.
As she rounds around third, Shelly keeps her eye contact with Laban and actually back pedals on her way to home plate, keeping the stare down with each other ’all the way home’.
Once her heel touches home plate, that’s when Shelly smiles and turns around breaking the eye contact.
Laban DaeMon (mumbling): "Fuck you Skalmönd..."
Itsuka looks at her "teammate" over at third base with a hateful stare.
Itsuka: "I don’t know if you’ve learned by now, but how about you stop taunting Shelly, or else she’s just gunna continue shitting all over your life."
Laban: "How ’bout you shut the fuck up?!"
Saku: "Aye!"
The captain/catcher takes off his face mask/helmet.
He angrily looks back and forth between the two bickering women who now have their heads down.
Saku: "That was just one batter!
We still have an entire game left to play!
Now I don’t want to hear anymore bullshit between the two of you for the rest of the game.
Do you both got that?"
Itsuka(mumbling): "Yes..."
Laban DaeMon(mumbling): "Yea..."

[Faithful Friends Firehouse Field]
*POP!*
Saku: "Strike 3!
You’re out, Nerd."
As SeiõrSnow continues to fall, standing in the left batter’s box, Aiden has already swung and he puts his head down as he walks back to his team dugout.
Once he gets back, a smiling Katsu is waiting for him.
Katsu: "Don’t get discouraged man..."
The captain holds out his fist.
Katsu: "... You’ll get them next at bat."
Aiden softly connects with a chuckle and hands the bat to the team manager.
Katsu looks at the bat in his hands with a slightly saddened look.
His vice captain notices and puts a hand on his shoulder.
Shelly: "Is everything okay Katsu?"
There’s a moment before his smile returns and he answers her.
Katsu: "Yep!"
The team manager looks over at Scylia and holds that bat out.
Katsu: "You’re up next, Big Sis.
Good luck, and I only ask that you try your best."
The elegant woman softly takes the baseball bat from him and leans over to kiss his forehead.
The kiss making both him and Shelly blush.
Scylia: "I will most certainly try my hardest for you. Oh, Captain."
She exits the dugout leaving the two blushers looking at each other.
Scylia approaches the plate. She looks at Saku with his gear on and helmet resting on top of his head, chuckling.
Saku: "What’s so funny?"
Scylia: *chuckles* "Oh, please don’t take any offense, Dear.
It’s just that, from the way you took command of your team a minute ago, and from the way you look so fitting for that position, I’m guessing you’re happy. So that makes me happy."
Saku takes a moment to absorb the thoughtful and sincere response. He chuckles back and puts his protective face mask back on.
The captain sticks one finger in the air and looks at his team.
Saku: "One down, plays is still over at first."
He looks down at first base, TayTay is shoveling caramel covered popcorn into his face while sitting on the dirt with his big foot resting on the corner of first base.
Right on queue, over from 2nd, Sol comes yelling in.
Sol: "Heyyyyyy!
What’s the rules Big Guy?!"
Dejectedly, the Big Guy takes one popcorn out of the bag and eats it.
With Scylia standing just outside of the right handed batter’s box, she looks over at the mound and gives a wave over to Itsuka.
Scylia: "Good luck Hun!
Don’t go too hard on me, teehee!"
Itsuka nods with a pierced lip smile as Scylia steps into the box.
She brings the bat up and prepares for the throw.
Itsuka winds up and delivers a fastball strike straight down the middle that Scylia swings HARD at, but misses.
Saku: "Strike 1!
Nice pitch Itsuka!"
He tosses it back to the blushing young woman, while Laban mumbles to herself.
Laban DaeMon: "Stupid Amazonian.
Getting praise for throwing a dumb ball..."
Scylia looks over at her dugout and Shelly gives her a tattooed thumbs up.
Scylia smiles and gets in her stance, prepared for the next pitch.
Itsuka steps back on the mound and goes through her motions once again until she *ZIPS* the ball straight passed a swinging Scylia yet again finishing the pitch with an echoing *POP!*.
Saku: "Strike 2!"
He tosses it back.
Scylia takes a deep breath and looks back at her dugout.
This time Katsu stands out and he shouts over to her.
Katsu: "Big Sis!
Choke up on the bat!
Move your hands up just an inch to shorten your swing!"
Saku side eyes the opposing coach and watches as the confused Scylia does as she is told.
Her hands with beautiful teal painted nails move up and inch from the end of the bat.
She takes a few half practice swings then beams a smile over while nodding.
Taking her place back in the batter’s box, Scylia and Itsuka EyeEngage for a moment before disengaging for Itsuka’s wind-up.
The ball whips out of Itsuka’s hand and flies over the plate.
Now with a shorter, quicker swing, Scylia makes contact with the ball and sends a line drive between Sol at 2nd and TayTay sitting down with his foot on first base.
Scylia drops the bat and sprints for 1st base.
The baseball hits the slightly SeiõrSnow patched grass.
In center field, Xaaydagaay and Friend hear the ball land and run after the rolling toy.
Scylia rounds first base and heads for 2nd. Friend is the first to get to the ball and grabs it in his teeth while Xaaydagaay begins chasing after him in the outfield.
Scylia has already reached 2nd base and stands there.
From the dugout, Katsu and Shelly jump up in excitement over at there happy and successful teammate.
Shelly: "Nice hit, Sis!" 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞
Katsu: "Do the thing, Big Sis!"
Saku looks over with a confused expression but his eyes widen once he sees Scylia pretending to eat from an invisible bowl while standing on 2nd.
Saku: "They got a celebration signal?"
He looks back at the smirking Katsu who throws in a new ball since Friend and Xaaydagaay are currently using the last one.
Katsu(telepathy): *You ain’t got a single shot to win this match against us either, you Scrub.*
From inside the metal webbing over his face, Saku’s eyes get narrow and he catches the ball in his mitt.
He sends it over to a discouraged Itsuka.
Saku: "Hey, it’s only one hit!
Relax. You got this."
A blushing Itsuka catches the baseball and sadly nods over at her catcher.
Katsu looks deeper into his dugout and smiles as Princess Rebekah is swinging her little legs while sitting on the bench.
Katsu: "Well Princess Rebekah, are you ready to play?"
The princess blushes and looks at the team captain, then at Zoram.
Zoram gives her a supportive smile and head tilt.
The little girl enthusiastically nods and gets up from the waxed bench.
With only one batting helmet available, Katsu gently places it on the Princess’ head and waves Scylia in from 2nd base.
Laban, also knowing about Katsu’s negative and evil side, activates her IceEye as to know what the Yang Vessel is telling her daughter.
As if she were watching a TV show from the vision of her own Eyelien, she watches as Katsu actively squats down to eye level in front of Princess Rebekah’s and the two EyeEngage.
Katsu: "Okay Princess, since I know how scary and hard it is the hit the ball, how about you pinch run for whoever gets on base first each inning...okay?"
Princess Rebekah: "Pinch...Run?"
In the little girl’s head she imagines running away while everyone tries to pinch her skin.
The cute Princess shivers.
Princess Rebekah: "That sounds like it hurts..."
Katsu laughs out loud, making everyone look at him weirdly (except for Laban, who is silently trying to hide her own laugh).
Katsu manages to wipe a laughing tear away before putting his hand softly on her shoulder.
Katsu: "Haha! Nobody’s going to hurt you, I just need you to run around the bases for us.
Just stand on the base, and when I shout ’Go’ you run to the base your Mama is standing next to, okay?"
The little girl looks over as her 3rd base playing Mama deactivates her alien symbiote and waves over the the little girl.
Princess Rebekah smiles while blushing and pumps her fists in front of her chest.
Princess Rebekah: "I promise, I’ll try my best!"
The captain gives her two soft taps on her protective headgear.
Katsu: "That’s all I can ask for."
Able to hear the coach to player chat, through the face mask, Saku gets an disgruntled look.
Saku(thinking): *Katsu... You have the ability and potential to be an awesome coach and a faultless leader..so why are you such an asshole?*
