Shattered by Fate, Restored by Truth-Chapter 1127: It’s Just Holding Hands, So Why Are You Blushing?
Su Yao let out a long sigh of relief after hearing this, feeling much better, and continued walking down.
Su Wanxin successfully brought her to the first floor and handed her over to Lu Ci before going to find Qi Ran.
Many people came today, the Qi family had arrived, and so had the Fu Family.
Su Wanxin chatted with Qi Ran for a while, then saw Li Mo and quickly went over to meet her.
She pushed Li Mo’s wheelchair in front of Qi Ran. Li Mo slightly raised her head to meet Qi Ran’s gaze, smiled, and greeted her.
They exchanged a few words, all very polite, making Su Wanxin feel as if invisible swords were flying back and forth in the air.
Being caught between two women with such strong auras is such an uncomfortable thing; Su Wanxin finally felt it.
She subtly observed them both but couldn’t tell if they were happy or angry or what.
Was she interrupting their conversation by being there?
Just as Su Wanxin had this thought, a familiar voice suddenly sounded from behind.
"Mom, Aunt Qi, I need to talk to Wanwan about something. I’ll take her away for a bit." Fu Shihan directly took Su Wanxin away, and after walking some distance, asked her, "I never realized you were so brave. Couldn’t you tell it was a dangerous place?"
He didn’t even dare to join the fray, yet she stood there motionless.
"Let’s not talk about that first." Su Wanxin stopped in her tracks. "What’s going on today? Isn’t President Fu going to explain?"
"Explain what?" Fu Shihan smiled, continuing to play dumb.
"Didn’t you promise me you wouldn’t create any trouble before their engagement party?!" Su Wanxin couldn’t hold it in any longer, so she bluntly asked.
"I did promise you that." Fu Shihan nodded and admitted, then added, "But I promised not to do anything before their engagement party, not on the day itself."
Su Wanxin: "???"
"Besides, I didn’t do anything today. I just brought Yangyang along.
You went to the company, and Shi Yi went to find Sheng Qian, so I had no choice but to bring him here."
"I don’t believe a word you say." Su Wanxin shook her head, "Now I don’t even believe your punctuation marks."
"That’s not good." Fu Shihan chuckled, "We should be loving and trusting of each other, at least have the basic trust."
Su Wanxin laughed out of exasperation, looking at him speechlessly, her peripheral vision catching sight of quite a few people glancing over at them from time to time.
"Wanwan, you’re the one who said you’d let me handle everything." Fu Shihan reminded her of her own words, and for a moment, Su Wanxin felt it was another pit he dug for her.
With nothing left to say, Su Wanxin could only give him a glare, intending to find Fu Shiyi and the others to hang out with.
But just as she turned around, she felt someone grab her wrist.
She shivered and turned her head back to look at Fu Shihan in disbelief. He smiled, showing no intention of letting go.
This was the first time he had been so forward with her in a public setting. As soon as he grabbed her hand, she could hear the whispers around her getting louder.
She pulled her hand back forcefully, stood there stunned, unsure of what to do.
What did he mean?
Was he really planning on causing trouble today?
Fu Shihan quietly gazed at her face, and after a moment, spoke with a smile.
"Wanwan, you’re blushing."
All he did was hold her hand for a moment, so why did she blush?
